OPENING LOG: Awakening
WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.
Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.
Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.
You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.
So.
Now what?
((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...
OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

Nexus said none of these. Upon arriving at the Junk Heap, he surveyed the scene, glanced up briefly as he caught a brother flying overhead, and decided to take matters in to his own hands. There was another thing to be said about first impressions, too, no?
While his siblings made their own slow pace, he stood still, cupping his hands around his mouth to magnify his shout;
"BAH WEEP GRANAH WEEP NINI BONG!"
Nothing wrong with putting that saying to the test, after all.

As she continues to climb, the girl hears the booming shout carry across the distance from behind, and she stops in an instant. Holding tight to a solid grip, she twists around to look over her shoulder towards the figure in the distance.

Well, there is no comparison she can make except that of a moving building from Gotham.
She had not understood what it shouted, the words yet another language she cannot comprehend, but she watches the huge figure with apprehension. Annie is not certain whether or not it would approach, but she hopes it takes no notice of her.
no subject
...well, there's one looking at him, he thinks! They're so small, he can barely tell it's there but yes, it's got all the right pieces from what he can tell...
Nexus raises an arm and waves. Hello, there!
no subject
Taking in a sharp gasp of air as she comes to this realization, Annie immediately twists away and scrambles to climb higher. As she pulls herself up, she spots a crevice in the junk, an opening just big enough for her, and immediately she deviates to alter her path towards it. Seconds later and the girl is crawling straight through the opening to disappear out of sight.

He frowns a little, lowering his arm. Well, at least he was now certain it was someone...but retreating from him? Hiding?
Curious. And there was only one way to find out why - to investigate. But his size was his enemy, here - there was no way he'd be able to get close enough without him being noticed, and if they were afraid, then they'd certainly flee.
On the other hand, if he was somewhere closer to their level...
Judging the distance, Nexus flexed his arm as pieces began to rearrange. A moment later he placed his hand on the ground, twisting his wrist as well as himself...
And abruptly, there were two. The greater one was missing a hand; the smaller, rearranging itself in to a mech-shape, and glancing over itself dutifully. Perhaps not exactly the size of whatever it was, but close enough. And with another twist, Nexus transformed his part into an aerial model, sending it in the other's direction with surprising silence.

There are no booming footsteps as she would expect from something of that size, and no further shouting from the voice that had spoken in a foreign language. Very slowly, she begins to ease out of her tight posture, just enough to lift her head and look out through the opening.
no subject
"Now...where did you go..."
Unfortunately for Annie, his first language is Cybertronian - and it's what he's speaking now. Softly and to himself, but...
no subject
Then, slowly, she crawls on her hands and knees to the gap while keeping herself low, and does her best to look around without making herself visible. As she struggles to see anything at all even from there, she hears a voice nearby just barely as it is quite soft. The language is something she heard earlier but not one she can recognize or distinguish from any other. Even so, it gives her an idea as to which way to look.
Chancing it, Annie tentatively leans forward to stick her head out just enough to see with one eye. Spotting the being far closer than she expected, she gasps softly and withdraws backwards. She turns over to scramble backwards with her hands and feet until she gets to the back of the pocket a rather disappointingly short distance away. Out of room to escape, she looks around for some other exit, but finds no other openings. Lowering to kneel with her legs to one side as far back as she can manage, she lifts her hands up close to her face and waits with her whole form tensed enough that she trembles.
Please don't find her!

...and then pauses. Right. Trying not to be scary. Let's, uh. Let's try coaxing them out, first.
"...bah weep granah?" he tries again. Maybe it's not so universal as it's supposed to be...

But he's never really been able to recognize his own personal hypocrisy. It's a personal failing, that big head- and we don't mean the blue one. The metaphorical one. The ego.

Sans accent, but is that a trace of humor in it? Nexus can't help but be amused by audacity, but then - it's not as if they know what's going on.
Now, where did that come from...
no subject
"You there! Are you one of the 'autobot' leaders?" He hasn't heard much beyond there's an Autobot army of giant sentient robots. "I demand you release me from your -- war or whatever it is, and send me home! I haven things to do! A city to run!"
no subject
Well, it's nothing Nexus can't handle. Though he is confused about one thing.
"...What's an Autobot?"
no subject
"How many giant robot factions are there?" he asks. "Either way, I want a leader! Who can send me home. If you're not it, I need whoever it is!"
no subject
"I'm a good guy," he affirms, with a bit of force behind it. "The only 'bad guys' here are the ones trying to take this place apart, and there hasn't been an army yet. You, my little friend, have things all wrong," he continues, moving down in to a kneel so he can get a better look at the organic, "and the leader here won't be able to send you home."
no subject
Except it was a GOOD robot, and therefore, needed to be subjugated.
"I'm not little, nor your friend," Megamind said with a flourish of his cape. "I an the supervillain Megamind, I rule Metro City with an iron fist, and I am a bad guy! So somebody better send me home before I have to start my reign of terror anew on this... trash heap!"
no subject
And yet...
There was one appropriate reaction.
"...heh."
It turned in to two chuckles. And then, Nexus threw his head back and outright laughed, unable to contain his mirth.
"That's a funny joke!- wait, wait, tell me about the reign of terror! Describe it! Don't leave me waiting-!"
This will be great.

It was still quite of a shock to heard it SO LOUDLY.
"...grAAAgnah really is how it's spelled sir." He's talking more to himself than anything else, don't mind Blurr.
no subject
"'Graagnah'?" he repeats, trying to match the accent. And that's Cybertronian, if he's not mistaken! Language and mech. "More of an 'aaa', eh, 'bot?"
no subject
"Yes sir the aah needs to sound more nasal while the gh after the vowel will nail the accent if you don't mind me saying so BUT you did a great job so far sir."
He was still intimidating but Blurr smiled up at the much larger mech. "DoyoumindifIaskaquestionsir?"
no subject
"By all means!" He's even moving in to a kneel, so he can better get a look at the tiny Cybertronian. They vary in size even more than he and his brothers...! "I'm guessing you have several."
no subject
This blue mech is even more smaller than the average Cybertronian, they make quite the pair.
"Thanks and yes quite a list of questions the FIRST ones would be who are you and those other giants bots? It was quite the impressive entrance you made I don't believe I ever meet any other mech as big as you all not even Omega supreme and he's really really big then again all looks big to me the NEXT questions would be where I am and how I get back to my world? you see I have some important information to deliver to the Elite guard and the council involving a Decepticon spy infiltrated in our ranks that it's in-fa-ct- Shockwave disguised as Logarm Prime and that's a really really really important information because innocent lives are at a stake"
no subject
"...you don't waste time, do you?" he muses with a chuckle, rubbing his chin. "All right. First answer - Primus calls us my brothers and I his 'Originals', and, his, ah, 'Firstforged', but I'm not too much for titles - you can call me Nexus Prime. Next answer - we're still trying to figure that out. We don't have control over what brought you here, and the current theory is that until we understand it enough, we're not going to be able to send you back. Not what you wanted to hear, but it's all I've got, 'bot."
no subject
"No sir sorry sir it's an habit." Nexus got a sheepish smile for that question. then Blurr's eyes widened. "F-firstforged from Primus? I'm talking to a god? IcantbelievetalkingtoagodIshouldn'tbetalkingtoagod." Focus Blurr, focus. Not going home is *bad*. "I..uh..but...ah...thankyousir"
