OPENING LOG: Awakening
WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.
Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.
Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.
You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.
So.
Now what?
((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...
OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

He sees that golden mark on you, but he's sure Vector won't mind him appropriating one of his mechs. If this one's willing, of course.
no subject
He was trapped here without possibility of returning home. He could try to parkour his way across the Galaxy until he managed to find a way home, but he was too tired for that now and it would be rude to ignore Nexus's demand. His shoulders slump forward in disappointment but he replies politely.
"No sir Nexus sir no more question for now. Whatdoyouwantmetodo?"
no subject
A pause.
"And, ah. If you see anyone without a Mark-"
He points at the glowing symbol on Blurr's arm.
"-let me or one of the others know, immediately."
no subject
"Now that you mention those I have one last question what's the meaning of those marks I didn't had it before sir Nexus sir."
no subject
"For now, let's just say they have a meaning to make us a lot happier about you. More, we'll explain later."
Not that he's in a rush, but it's always nice to have something to look forwards to, isn't it?
no subject
"Iamaslavenow?" He tries to sound calm, but the question is still said in a rush. If the answer goes anywhere near 'yes' expect Blurr to runt the frag away from you, Nexus.
no subject
"No!"
Nexus's voice could be firm enough to be scary in itself, but he's honestly taken aback by the connection. "Not in the pit! You've got a mind of your own, don't you?"
Of course he does. Or else he wouldn't wear the Mark - they only show on sentients. Right, excuse Nexus as he rubs his face.
"It means that we're not going to take our eyes off you and then look back to find out you're some kind of monster. Everything else is just...details."
He makes a vague hand gesture. Specifics. Sure, he can love them at times, but in this case they're not as important as making sure everyone has a chance to recognize safety as what it is.
Then come the details.

"I didn't mean...Yes yes yes I do have a mind on my own and I would like to keep it that way for many many many cycles if I can help me sir IT'S just that I thought...wellitdoesn'tmatterwhatIthought...I'm sorry I had no intentions to offend you with my question sir Nexus sir What do you mean by monsters sir?"
Blurr still looks a bit on the edge. He had a long bad day.
no subject
"Ah, sorry 'bout that. Got a little riled up there, but I've heard stories about slaves, and..."
His entire plating seems to ripple with distaste. Not something he's interested in having. Sure, the Refugees do what they say, for the most part - but part of the fun of them being here, at all, is their unpredictability. He wouldn't shackle that for much.
Maybe a few more answers will call the smaller bot down?
"Monsters happen when specific creatures are sent here - not just pulled in by chance. Those ones, we at least can identify - no Glyph, no Mark, and sooner or later they'll turn on you, no matter what they are."
no subject
"We don't allow those where I come from not my fraction at least, the Decepticons are an entirely different story." More answers are definitely a plus. And he frowns at that one. "Whosendsthose?"
no subject
The cheerfulness fades a little bit, replaced by seriousness.
"Unicron."
No need to say the titles or any of the special terms - he is what he is. The name is enough.
no subject
Nexus doesn't have to say more, Blurr understands well enough now.
no subject
"Now then," Nexus continues, getting to his feet and dusting himself off a bit, "you still thinking of offering a hand, or would you rather I send off a comm to Vector and get you settled with him?"
no subject
"No no no I don't mind I promised you I would help and I always keep my promises and I promised Elita One I would talk to her again once I discovered what was happening I WILL talk to sir Vector later sir Nexus sir." Like, in that other thread he and Vector already have going.
