Doctor, Doctor, gimme the news~
WHO: Rung and whoever wants to stop in!
WHERE: The good doctor's office
WHEN: It's an all day affair at Rung's office~ A few days after he discovered his new abilities.
WHAT: Therapy sessions and go!
WARNINGS: Dark pasts, etc?
Yep, it was that time again.
Now that things were somewhat back to normal for the resident therapist, Rung had put out the word that he would be taking patients again. He had missed it, helping others, and it was time to get his mind off everything that had happened to him over the past few weeks.
His office had been cleaned up and rearranged a bit, the therapist just wanting to change the atmosphere a bit.
Make it more personable than it had been before.
Satisfied with what he'd done, the front door had been propped open and he was settled at his desk, going over some files as he absently toyed with a ball of light.

Oh wait, that's just Barricade.
He pauses and gives a courtesy knock rather than barging straight in. It's kind of what he's ended up doing a lot lately. Fewer people he knew well so he isn't sure who might accidentally shoot him for walking in like he owns the place.
"Figured that thing out yet?" he inquires, flashing a toothy - or fangy - grin and flicking his wings.
no subject
Oh. Well. He had been expecting the other to show up at some point so why not now?
Snapping out of his files at the sound of the knock, Rung immediately lets his little ball of light disappear as he stands, unable to help the small smile that appears.
"It's getting much easier to control now, yes. I'm still not completely use to having the ability but it is helpful," he mused, motioning for the other to take the open seat in front of his desk. "Please, sit down, make yourself comfortable, Barricade."
no subject
"Comfortable is relative with my dimension; we're a bit... pointy." But he can flatten his plating down slightly and not have to worry about getting himself literally attached to the seat. Easy peasy now adays.
"Y'know, I've never actually done this with a professional."
And it sounds exactly as wrong as he wanted it to.
no subject
Only to pause at the other's words, very clearly getting momentarily flustered because even he can catch the double entendre there.
"Ah--well, I hope that I make it worth your whi--time, worth your time," he corrects himself quickly, vents cycling as he tries to pull himself together.
Damn you, Barricade.

He knocks once before starting to open the door. Doesn't sound like anyone else is in there, so should be fine, right...?

The sound of Rung's voice comes from the office itself, the therapist definitely not with any other patients right now--lucky for you, Max.
There's the sound of a something getting shuffled about before Rung steps out of his office, optics brightening a bit as he smiles warmly upon realizing just who it is at his door.
"Hello, Max. It's good to see you again. I was hoping you'd stop in."
It was a good sign.

It was rearranged a bit--again--because the therapist just couldn't seem to get things set the way he wanted it.
But at least it was still usable.
"So how have things been since we last spoke?" he asked as he motioned towards a chair for the other to sit in, taking a seat behind his desk.

was gonna wait until things got more sorted out, but, f-it. I wants Rung.
And Perceptor really is willing to do anything to make certain that he doesn't ruin things for Drift. Even talking to someone about his own paranoia and self-loathing. Rung is trustworthy and safe.
Maybe Rung can keep him from ruining everything again.
He knocks softly and peeks around the door.
PERCCCYYYYYY
That, and they are quite similar in ways and the therapist finds a comfort in the other's presence.
Rung is in the midst of toying with two little orbs of light--because he's discovered that he can create two of them at a time now--when he hears the knock, pausing with his hands cupped over the orbs as he looks towards the door.
And smiles warmly.
"Perceptor. Please, come in. It's so good to see you."
RUUUUUUUUUNNNNNGGGGG. forever. ^w^
"Rung. What were those?" he asks as he slides in and closes the door behind him.
His science bone's been tickled, and that breaks the ice wonderfully/
BD
He motions to the light orbs, smile growing some.
"I'm still learning, of course."

He has to deal with these things alone, somehow. Relying on others... it's only going to work for so long, isn't it? He has to --
Grow up, Shinewbie.
Flinch.
-- learn to depend on himself. For once. But, all the same, just poking his head in won't hurt anything, will it? He can say what he needs to say, and depart.
He knocks, as lightly and softly as he can, opting to remain restrained and unobtrusive. Something familiar.
no subject
"One moment!" he called as he finished his trek to the corner to set the objects down on the shelf there, dusting his hands off before turning and heading back to the door to tug it open.
Cue face lighting up a bit here.
"Hello Kagerou," Rung greeted, stepping to the side to let the other in. "How is everything today? It's good to see you by the way."
Because he worries and seeing you makes him worry less.
no subject
Not originally, anyway.
He bowed his head slightly, at the greeting, before following Rung inside. "Hello..."
As per his usual habit, he kept close to one wall, as if trying to flatten himself against it, and be less obtrusive. Even his wings folded tight to his back. "I'm fine," he said, quietly. "I found something. Recently. I thought... you could have it."
no subject
Shutting the door, Rung's gaze shifted to the ninja and he did his usual quick study of the other being, noting the wings and how tightly folded they were and how close to the wall his quest was staying.
He had a feeling things weren't completely 'Fine' but he wasn't going to pry.
"Oh?" the therapist murmured, looking surprised. "What did you find?"

It's been weeks since Rung and him had a proper session and, while Blurr missed talking to him, he didn't feel like talking at all. Losing Magnus, First Aid and Saber in the same month didn't help his trust issues and now he was avoiding talking about the real issue. At least he was there.
no subject
"Blurr, hello!" Rung greeted with a bit of surprise in his voice, still smiling though as he set down the datapad he'd been looking over. "Thank you. It's nothing special but a change was needed."
To help forget. Sort of.
Looking the speedster over real quick, the therapist tilted his head the slightest bit.
"Is everything alright?"
no subject
He leaned back on the seat. "Yesallisfine. I missed talking to you that's all."

What Dead End doesn't expect on his trip to Rung's office is the door to be open. When he used to see the therapist the door was never open like that, so something had to be wrong Why else would it have been open otherwise?
And he just got Rung back too.
Reminding himself that the universe hates him, he draws his swords, vents cycling heavily. Rung will be okay. He'll probably be okay. Everything is going to go wrong.
With that final thought he darts into the room, "Rung are you okay?!"
Please be okay. Please, please, please be okay.
no subject
Because when Dead End rushed in, swords drawn, Rung was in the process of looking over the model ship that Kagerou had given him. And see, startling someone who is holding an object like that isn't such a good idea.
Thankfully, as the therapist startles and fumbles with the ship, he does manage to catch it before it drops, clutching it to his chest as he stares at his lover with bright optics.
"Dead End what--" Oh. Wait. The open door probably looked bad didn't it? "I'm alright! I promise!"
no subject
Things had looked bad, and he wasn't ready to loose Rung a second time. What if he didn't come back? Too risky to not
panicpay attention to something as simple as an open door. When all he finds inside is Rung with a... thing, he visibly relaxes, arms lowering as he looks around the room. Have to be sure.
"I- You're okay..." Once he's sure there isn't anything dangerous his swords are slowly put away, wings drooping.
"I just thought... The door was open and..."

Robot doctor good for human girls?
Rung was like a human head doctor, right, keep everything secret and all that. She could talk to him, without worrying, or at least she hoped too.
She gave a knock at the door to the office, wondering if she would be noticed down where she was.
Always!
"Hello there," he greets, stepping out of his office itself and into the hallway.
This one..he's not completely familiar with but he thinks her name is--
"Miko, right? I believe I've seen you posting on the link."
Always!
"Yeah, Miko. You're Rung, right?" She asked.
"Um... can I maybe talk with you? I mean, about stuff that I don't want others to really know about."
