Doctor, Doctor, gimme the news~
WHO: Rung and whoever wants to stop in!
WHERE: The good doctor's office
WHEN: It's an all day affair at Rung's office~ A few days after he discovered his new abilities.
WHAT: Therapy sessions and go!
WARNINGS: Dark pasts, etc?
Yep, it was that time again.
Now that things were somewhat back to normal for the resident therapist, Rung had put out the word that he would be taking patients again. He had missed it, helping others, and it was time to get his mind off everything that had happened to him over the past few weeks.
His office had been cleaned up and rearranged a bit, the therapist just wanting to change the atmosphere a bit.
Make it more personable than it had been before.
Satisfied with what he'd done, the front door had been propped open and he was settled at his desk, going over some files as he absently toyed with a ball of light.

He has to deal with these things alone, somehow. Relying on others... it's only going to work for so long, isn't it? He has to --
Grow up, Shinewbie.
Flinch.
-- learn to depend on himself. For once. But, all the same, just poking his head in won't hurt anything, will it? He can say what he needs to say, and depart.
He knocks, as lightly and softly as he can, opting to remain restrained and unobtrusive. Something familiar.

"One moment!" he called as he finished his trek to the corner to set the objects down on the shelf there, dusting his hands off before turning and heading back to the door to tug it open.
Cue face lighting up a bit here.
"Hello Kagerou," Rung greeted, stepping to the side to let the other in. "How is everything today? It's good to see you by the way."
Because he worries and seeing you makes him worry less.
no subject
Not originally, anyway.
He bowed his head slightly, at the greeting, before following Rung inside. "Hello..."
As per his usual habit, he kept close to one wall, as if trying to flatten himself against it, and be less obtrusive. Even his wings folded tight to his back. "I'm fine," he said, quietly. "I found something. Recently. I thought... you could have it."
no subject
Shutting the door, Rung's gaze shifted to the ninja and he did his usual quick study of the other being, noting the wings and how tightly folded they were and how close to the wall his quest was staying.
He had a feeling things weren't completely 'Fine' but he wasn't going to pry.
"Oh?" the therapist murmured, looking surprised. "What did you find?"
no subject
"It's nothing... important," he said, shrugging his shoulders. He kept his gaze lowered. "Just something I found."
He shifted his weight a little, before holding out the object. He'd found it in the junkpile, rescued it, upon realizing what it was. A toy boat, actually. A model of some kind of human ocean liner.
"You said that you collected them. So... I brought it to you."
Wrong kind of ship, Kagerou.
no subject
"Kagerou, thank you. This is very kind and will be a very nice addition to my collection."
That really didn't include much anymore.
Looking it over some, Rung's smile warms and he looks up at the other, optics soft.
"I appreciate this, a lot."
no subject
"Good... I thought you could use one..."
After what happened to the other. He ducks his head, his own expression just shy of smiling -- the barest trace of pride twitching at the corners of his mouth.
"It was in the junk. But it's clean now."
Really, he promises it is.
no subject
Placing the new addition to his collection on the shelf, Rung steps back a bit, hands on his hips as he looks absolutely pleased with the ship.
"..Thank you, Kagerou. Very much. I don't know what else to say."
no subject
"You don't have to say anything else," he says, a little hastily. "That's... all I came here to do. I'll leave if..."
If he's in the way. Even now, part of him still feels he's wasting the other's time. He tries a smile, however, to offset the words, the corners of his mouth twitching.
"I can find something else that needs doing."
no subject
And he wanted to keep the good mood going if he could.
"I'd offer you tea or something of that sort but I'm afraid my office isn't quite that good yet. Perhaps I'll eventually find some other things in the junkpile I can use," he mused, motioning for the other to take a seat if he'd like.
no subject
When indicated, he slipped into one of the seats, making no more noise than the shadow he claimed to be. Old habits died harder than expected.
"I don't think I can drink tea," he said. At least he knew what it was. "But... I didn't know you knew about it."
no subject
Not many partook in it but Rung enjoyed it. It was calming.
Settling into his own seat, the therapist relaxed, not looking so much like a doctor talking to a patient but a friend talking to a friend now.
"How have things been? In general I mean. You're still working with the police force, yes?"
no subject
And, needless to say, he was now curious. How many different kinds were there?
He still sat straight, rigid, less out of tension now, and more out of habit. Because, in all honesty, it was hard to be tense in this room. It felt safe in here.
"Yes, I am." Another nod. "I... it's all right. It's still too quiet, anymore." He tilted his head. "And... you?"
