Doctor, Doctor, gimme the news~
WHO: Rung and whoever wants to stop in!
WHERE: The good doctor's office
WHEN: It's an all day affair at Rung's office~ A few days after he discovered his new abilities.
WHAT: Therapy sessions and go!
WARNINGS: Dark pasts, etc?
Yep, it was that time again.
Now that things were somewhat back to normal for the resident therapist, Rung had put out the word that he would be taking patients again. He had missed it, helping others, and it was time to get his mind off everything that had happened to him over the past few weeks.
His office had been cleaned up and rearranged a bit, the therapist just wanting to change the atmosphere a bit.
Make it more personable than it had been before.
Satisfied with what he'd done, the front door had been propped open and he was settled at his desk, going over some files as he absently toyed with a ball of light.

"Mostly, we all just stayed out of each other's ways."
As much as it was possible, anyway.
He dips his head slightly. "We've got the deer and those fireflies, right? Well, I happen to own a very small dragon and was working on metal versions. It'd be something different as far as wildlife, and a lot easier t'care for than the organic ones, for anyone that might want one."
no subject
"A dragon?" he repeats with a note of surprise in his voice. "How did you come into the care of a dragon? And that is an interesting idea, creating some that everyone can indulge in. I know it's a common human trait to keep pets so it might be nice for the children that are here especially."
Rung pauses, replaying some stuff real quick before shooting Barricade an apologetic look.
"You know, I realize now that I don't think I ever asked about what you came here to talk about specifically and I apologize for that."
no subject
"Someone was selling their eggs in Axiom. They're called firelizards. I had recently arrived and... well. I kind of wanted the companionship. Raised Rumble up from a hatchling." Barricade grins, motioning with his hands to indicate the firelizard's size. "I think he kept me sane for a while, there."
He pauses at Rung's apology, then waves one hand a little, shifting his position in the chair.
"Ahh, don't apologize. It was probably easier to start where we did; gets the big planet-destroying elephant out of the room."
no subject
"...If...would it be rude of me to ask if I could see your pet sometime? I'm quite curious about the nature of such a creature."
He hasn't gotten to deal with many organic animals before and he's just curious.
The other's next statement has him chuckling softly, nodding a bit as he leans back.
"I suppose it did help with that, yes."
no subject
"Not rude at all. He's a sweet little fella... mostly. If a little difficult to translate for, on occasion."
At least the firelizard is extremely used to robots, since he's grown up with them.
He chuckles himself, spreading his hands slightly.
"So that's one nasty bit out of the way already."
no subject
And get back to Cybertron safely. That was the key thing. Even if the events that followed were a bit..crazy.
"What other nasty bits would you like to get out of the way then?"
no subject
Then again, that's hardly his problem. He won't go back again. No point, really.
"Other nasty bits..." he snorts quietly. "Where to start?" There's so much. And so much that he's reluctant to tell anyone about. Though there is one related thing...
"Ah. Probably should mention, I'm pretty sure I'm dead back home."
no subject
And reading his body language; his expression. Taking notes on every little thing so he could start to learn it all. (His handy ability that he has no idea about is helping him with that as well.)
"When I first arrived here, I believed I was dead back home as well," Rung said with a slight, slight shiver. "What makes you believe you are?"

It probably doesn't hurt that even Barricade's plating is expressive, twitching and flaring as he talks. Such as his wings flicking down in something like embarrassment when asked that question.
"Earth, Chicago. The Autobots escaped - thanks to Soundwave's stupidity and a little luck - and I reconvened with Shockwave. Then human snipers shot out three of my optics to blind me so I wouldn't see the soldiers sticking grenades to my feet." He pauses a moment, looking down to his legs. His calf plating flares.
"By the time I hit the ground with everything below my knees blown into my chest, the soldiers that did it had their rifles aimed for my head."
