It was probably a good thing that their last session had been so short and uneventful. With the way the previous ones had gone, another negative experience could have cemented Fortress Maximus' reluctance to have them at all. As it was, when it was time for his next meeting with Rung, he may not have been eager for it but he was at least there with only minimal self-convincing.

He knocks once before starting to open the door. Doesn't sound like anyone else is in there, so should be fine, right...?
