OPENING LOG: Awakening
WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.
Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.
Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.
You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.
So.
Now what?
((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...
OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

Sari jolted up from the uneven ground, head spinning, a distant beacon of light in a strange sky making her eyes ache. Reflexively, she turned to find her dad - she still had questions, she was still so angry; her arm still throbbed, skin raw and torn and the completely foreign pain of shattered circuits only adding to the panic.
But he wasn't there. No one she knew was there. The city was gone, and a mountain of random...junk was all that remained.
...Did Detroit have another trash strike while she was unconscious?
Thin legs shaky, Sari staggered to her feet, clutching her injured arm to her chest. Spinning on the spot, she kept searching, denying what her eyes were telling her. They couldn't be gone. The Autobots wouldn't have left her alone, even if she was a-
"Guys? ...G-guys? Not funny Bumblebee!"
Stubbornly, she headed toward the nearest large rocky outcropping poking out amongst the scrap, sure they would all be huddled behind it, snickering at her confusion...no matter how illogical the assumption was.
"Come on! Optimus, tell Bee to knock it off! Pleeease?"
There...was no one behind the rock. It didn't look like anyone had ever been behind the rock. Vision going fuzzy with tears, Sari circled the rock as though she would catch them dodging just out of her sight, panic building as she tripped over the rougher patches of junk. But finally, she couldn't deny it any longer.
She was alone. Sari sniffled, slumping down as her shoulders began to shake with barely suppressed sobs, wiping eyes and running nose on a sleeve.
"...N-now what?"
no subject
He recognized that voice. He knew that voice. She was important to him; she was-- friend, family, strange little techno-organic kinsman. Finally, something to prod Prowl out of his single-minded stride; he comes over the hill and then slides down it, coming to a stop not far from her.
"Sari, are you alright?" If she was here--
--did that mean he failed?
That his life was not enough?
no subject
"...P-Prowl?"
Teary eyes gone wide, she stares for only moment. He may not be the 'bot she is closest too, but he is still a dear friend. One of her robot BFFS. Choking out a sob, she runs over, stumbling over junk, before throwing her good arm around his leg with a wail.
no subject
"I'm here, Sari. It's alright. You're safe with me." He was also potentially the least comforting bot ever, with his cool, even tones and his distance, but-- well, she should know he'd risk spark and limb for her.
"Have you been here long? What was the last thing you recall?"
no subject
The hand at her back is still comforting despite all that, but it wasn't enough just yet to keep her from from crying all over Prowl's leg.
"There was that b-big bot, Omega Supreme, and you were all fighting the D-Decepticons, and then my dad..."
He lied. He lied about everything.
Sari choked up again, automatically moving to shield her injured arm under her chest and against Prowl's leg as she hiccuped through her tears.
"I don't know w-what's going on!"
gonna time this to after speaking to Trion so that Prowl's calm and has a place to take her, k?
From the past.
That has occurred, long ago. She has not -- upgraded. Not like she had. Well, if he could come from death, he is certain the forces of this world could certainly bring Sari from another time.
"We've been taken by an unknown force, Sari. There's no need to fear." At least, even with his own upgrade, that he looked very much like himself still, that he was still recognizable. "I promise you: it'll be alright. At home, and-- here."
It gave him a tiny spark of hope, though; that he was from her future meant that at some point, she would return, and live out her life. Safely. Good.
Um no can do? I timed her post to before their arrival. :o I am the slowest
"B-but...then, where are we? Where are Bumblebee and Bulkhead and everyone else?"
we can be timey~wimey if necessary?
But his primary concern was to find her someplace safe. If he was to go outriding and discover where they were or if there were hostiles near by-- well, the last thing she wanted to be was unprotected on his seat, or even in his open sidecar.
And her lack of upgrade-- her speech-- gave him new problems. She was from before his death; before he took on Yoketron's helm permanently, and upgraded himself. Prowl was a student become a master in his own right, and that...
Well, it might be hard to explain while she was bawling her eyes out. "ThaT" being "anything just mentioned".
"We need to find you some shelter, Sari."
SOMETHING UNSPECIFIC lol
It took some effort and a number of hiccups, but she was slowly regaining control and calming down. Finishing with blowing her nose on her sleeve, she reached up expectantly, silently demanding a lift up.
"I-Is there anyone else here at all?"
timey wimey wimey wimey~~

"Little miss Sari miss how did you arrive here Do you even know where here is exactly because I am not all sure and Ooo ooohh! You are injured Are you okay That doesn't look good."
no subject
"Um...H-Hi?"
She frowned, hiccuping through her tears. She'd only met the bot once, discounting the times Bumblebee complained about the 'blue racer'. He wasn't the easiest Autobot around to understand, either.
"I...don't know w-where we are. Or why or even how!" The last question about her wound only makes her clutch her injured elbow closer, sniffling stubbornly.
no subject
"I don't know either I woke up all of sudden and the last thing I remember was being in Cybertron UN-FOR-TU-NA-TE-LY- I was caught off guard by Shockwave who was using the disguise of Logarm prime to infiltrate our ranks and he trapped me between two moving walls in the corridors of the base and I swear I didn't make it soImreallyconfusedashowIarrivedhereandwhathappenedbecauseIreallythoughtmysparkwasextinguished. ...BUT we will figure things out eventually don't worry little organic miss."
Blurr stares down at her elbow, a worried expression on his face. "Can I see that?"
no subject
"...Huh? W-What's a shockwave?" She doesn't understand even half of what she actually managed to hear properly. But she does catch the end, and stumbles back a step, tightening her grip on her arm.
"What? No!"
It hurts and it's weird and she doesn't even want to remember it exists, much less half someone she barely knows go poking at it.
no subject
"He's a Decepticon but that doesn't matter now I checked around HE doesn't seem to be here anyway." Blurr's surprised by the sudden ourtbust, taking a step back himself. His encounters with humans had been less than stellar.
"Fine fine there's no need to get nervous I was just thinking that perhaps you need a medical opinion we should try to find you a doctor I KNOW that humans start leaking red when they are hurt."
no subject
Despite the lack of any 'Shockwave' around, she bursts right back into tears again.
"H-humans are supposed to leak r-red!"
She may have bled before, but she's never had any injury worse than a scrape before, either. Down past skin...there was nothing to bleed.
no subject
"D-don'tworryI'mcertainthatwewillfindasolutiontowhateverishappeningtoyouquicklypleasecalmdown!"
no subject
She only catches the tail end of Blurr's run on sentence, and shakes her head around hiccups.
"I-I c-caaaaan't calm d-d-down! Y-you calm down!"

It may not be someone that Sari knows, but there is an eight-and-a-half-foot purple robot that looks like a samurai headed for her. Once he comes to a stop not far from her, he whines his joints and tilts his head. What's wrong, tiny person?
no subject
Unfortunately, right now is not one of those times.
The thumping from a robot much smaller and lighter than the usual ones takes longer to be noticed over her crying - but when she does, Sari stumbles back with a startled eep, ready to bolt if she has to.
...This guy looks weird.
"...Who are y-you supposed to be?"
no subject
As for what he's supposed to be... it's difficult to pantomime 'boxer' without attacking someone. Or without his controls being used. No way to do that. Instead Noisy Boy crouches down next to her - like the orange and white one had with him, both forearms planted on the ground to try to show he has no harmful intentions - and tips his head forward, pistons whining. What's wrong tiny human? Why are you crying?
no subject
Sari keeps her distance for a long moment. Curious or not, she's still in a strange place with weird sky, and who knows what this guy is about. But once he crouches down, he doesn't seem nearly so bad, and obviously isn't attacking. Still rubbing away tears, Sari allows herself a little creeping step closer.
"...What, me?"
no subject
Noisy Boy nods at the question, staying where he is. He doesn't have any reason to attack anyone, really. Unless they're in a match together. With human boxing outlawed he can hardly make that mistake. Yes, you, tiny human. You seem distressed.
... Which is admittedly a normal reaction to this situation but still.
no subject
Sari sniffles, wiping away the last of her tears with a sleeve.
"I'm Sari?" She guesses his intentions with a careful shrug. She doesn't really want - or can't - talk about her worries with a robot who cant' talk back.
"...You broken or something?
no subject
The question earns a short shake of the head. No, he's not broken. At least, not recently. He's just absent parts that others were made with.
no subject
"I can't read that! Are you from Asia somewhere?" Sari blinks, thoughtful. Dad had a lot of competition in Japan and China and stuff...
"Are you from earth? Not from Cybertron?"
