OPENING LOG: Awakening

WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.

Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.

Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.

You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.

So.

Now what?

((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...

OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

Well. Not wrong, really. Not for him. Others here have seem shocked by it, though. Like he's supposed to have one. Like his handlers couldn't easily take care of the ego-driven crowing to the press.

Noisy Boy nods at the question, staying where he is. He doesn't have any reason to attack anyone, really. Unless they're in a match together. With human boxing outlawed he can hardly make that mistake. Yes, you, tiny human. You seem distressed.

... Which is admittedly a normal reaction to this situation but still.

"Uh..."

Sari sniffles, wiping away the last of her tears with a sleeve.

"I'm Sari?" She guesses his intentions with a careful shrug. She doesn't really want - or can't - talk about her worries with a robot who cant' talk back.

"...You broken or something?

Noisy doesn't mind whether she talks about it to him or not, really; he's been used as a sounding board for problems before, but also as a distraction from them. It's just what he's for in the time between matches. At the introduction his gears click in something like a greeting, and he raises his arm to motion to the kanji across his upper chest and shoulders. That's his name. Even if she can't read it.

The question earns a short shake of the head. No, he's not broken. At least, not recently. He's just absent parts that others were made with.

Sari makes a face at the kanji, shaking her head right back at him.

"I can't read that! Are you from Asia somewhere?" Sari blinks, thoughtful. Dad had a lot of competition in Japan and China and stuff...

"Are you from earth? Not from Cybertron?"

That's the second time he's heard that word. A variation of it, anyway. But it's accompanied with a 'not' and that makes the difference for his response.

Noisy Boy nods. Exactly right! From Earth. And from Asia, for that matter. He's glad for this much recognition at least.
