OPENING LOG: Awakening

WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.

Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.

Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.

You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.

So.

Now what?

((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...

OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

He was bigger than any other mech Blurr have seen before, even bigger than Omega Supreme. Blurr was slightly startled when the communication reached his processor and the glyph in his arm shinned. He could tell an authority figure when he saw one.

Blurr didn't try to run away, he just keep a safe distance from the bigger Cybertronian but otherwise not moving. It was important to observe before try any sort of reckless action and the blue mech hopped that he was fast enough to put some distance between them if it was necessary.

There were so many down there - Vector couldn't recall a time when so many had appeared at once, not even when this had all started the first time. It would be difficult to keep track of them all...

Still, he felt a twinge of frustration that some seemed to be running from him. All right, certainly, he was a strange figure in a strange land and no doubt they were confused and uncertain...

//I mean no harm,// he said, focusing his comm on one of them. One at a time. //So long as you do not, in turn.//
raceme: (Yes sir!)

It's more the fact that you are like a million times their size, Vector. It's nothing personal really. Certainly if they wanted to cause the others bots harm they all would be dead by now. Blurr approached Vector and he did it at a slower pace (slow for him, at any rate)

// No sir I most certainly won't cause any unnecessary trouble sir but might I ask what is this place? Do you know how and why we arrived here?//

He's not that big. Compared to Nexus, he's quite short.

Then again, compared to Nexus, everyone is short.

Vector transformed in midair, somersaulting once as he came in for a landing - even with his speed, he cut it quickly enough that he was able to hit the ground with hardly more a disturbance than if he'd simply jumped off.

Blurr would have come up to his waist, or around there. But he kept a short distance between them, to let the mech approach at his own pace.

Which...seemed awfully fast.

//You're on Cybertron. As for how and why - that must be blamed upon the Lambda above you.//
raceme: (Honey why are you mad?)

[personal profile] raceme 2012-06-23 03:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe but Blurr is a tiny thing, Shockwave was twice his size only and he already towered over him.

My point exactly.

It was fast, yes, but Blurr stopped before invading any personal space. He didn't want to annoy the bigger mech or put his own safety at risk.

//Cybertron? But that makes no sense sir I manged to get there already after that unfortunate incident with Starscream's clones Thundercracker and Skywarp and I was there still when I exposed the identity of the real Decepticon spy to my superior Longarm Prime who sadly was in fact the deceptions spy we were looking for and allthisjustmakesnosensesir.//

Excuse him, he was a bit agitated. Being crushed into a cube and nearly dying twice does that to people's nerves.

I FORGOT ABOUT HOW TINY ANIMATED BOTS CAN BE. He's probably a little shorter than I noted; my bad!

[personal profile] vectorianpolarity 2012-06-23 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
...well. He's certainly excitable, isn't he? Vector holds up a hand to stop his talking, or at least slow it to where he can get a word in. They're close enough now that he can speak aloud.

"Whatever Cybertron you know, this is not it. If I judge you correctly, you are used to a Cybertron that is far older than this one, and well in to its civilization. This one has hardly even begun."
raceme: (;w;)

It's okay! they are the tinniest. Wheeljack compared Blurr to a femme...

[personal profile] raceme 2012-06-23 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Blurr stopped as quickly as he started, looking apologetic. His nerves got the best of him sometimes. That other mech reminded him of Ultra Magnus, in a sense.

A barely newborn Cybertron? That was hard to believe and yet here they were. That explained why this planet looked so wild.

"But...sir I have a mission to complete back in my Cybertron where I come from innocent lives are at stake and I have to warn the council about the traitor. Pleasepleaseplease how can I get back?"

[personal profile] vectorianpolarity 2012-06-23 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
That, unfortunately...Vector couldn't offer good news with. His wings shifted on his back, drooping somewhat before he caught hold of himself.

"As it stands, that which brought you here keeps you from returning. I regret bearing this news to you, but it is the truth. And it will not be that way forever," he adds quickly, gripping a fist as he looks skywards.

X3 He's pocket sizeddddddddd~ Who doesn't want one?

[personal profile] raceme 2012-06-23 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
If he caught the sight of the wings dropping (and such big wings were hard to miss), he didn't mention it.

"Not going home doesn't worry me I spent many cycles away from home but not being able to warn them..." Now,that's what is crushing him. He failed his mission, twice now, and everyone in his Cybertron might be in great danger. What is he supposed to do now?
vectorianpolarity: (. neutral)

[personal profile] vectorianpolarity 2012-06-23 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, now that...Vector could understand. He nods gravely. "It is no fault of your own," he says with certainty. "But if you have faith in your friends, you must have faith that even without your warning, they will be able to ensure."

It would not...make it better. But perhaps ease it, slightly.
raceme: (I am le sad)

[personal profile] raceme 2012-06-23 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Small consolation as it would be, Blurr can't really accept it. If he only had been faster or smarter Shockwave wouldn't have trapped him. He should have contacted Ultra Magnus directly. Now there was no way to do so and no one will stop the Decepticon Attack. Blurr nodded, still looking somber.

"And....uhmm...." Let's change the subject. "I hope it's not to much of a nuisance to ask if you know what's that mark I got in my arm sir? I'm certain I didn't had it before I arrived here it doesn't look like a scratch and I can't get rid of it. It doesn't hurt or anything either but it makes me wonder where it came from."

[personal profile] vectorianpolarity 2012-06-24 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
The symbol is a far better topic. Especially now that Vector moves just enough to see it...and smiles honestly. Golden, no less - his own. "I would be alarmed if you could get rid of it - and dismayed. It suggests an affinity between you and I, placed there by a force beyond either of us. Its mere presence, whatever its shape, means I can call you 'friend'."
raceme: (Oh hai)

[personal profile] raceme 2012-06-27 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Blurr looks frankly surprised at that. He doesn't have many friend. Colleagues? Sporadic teammates? Yes. friends? Hm....Not so much. Wheelie and Dug Base aren't here after all.

"That's...really nice." For someone who usually speak faster than ten fast men he's sort of speechless now.
vectorianpolarity: (. pleased)

[personal profile] vectorianpolarity 2012-06-28 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Nice? Vector can only chuckle at that. At least the other mech has brightened, a tad! But he can't keep thinking of him as that.

"What is your name?" he questions.

What can eh says, Blurr fast he try to adapt quickly.

"I am Blurr and agent of the Elite Guard a intelligence gathering body that exists within the Autobot fraction sir Vector."

"Well met, Blurr. I trust you will find a place here, for however long it is. You are welcome to return with me to my own home - there, you will find shelter and sustenance, and may yet learn more about the situation you have found yourself in."
raceme: (Puppy eyes :<)

[personal profile] raceme 2012-06-28 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Knowing more about the situation he accidentally got himself in is definitely a wonderful thing, so it's shelter and sustenance. However, Blurr's still hesitates.

"And the downside is...? I mean no offense with that questions sir and you have been really nice so far but usually one expects something from the other when offered that much help. Or this is just the norm among those you call friends?"
vectorianpolarity: (Default)

[personal profile] vectorianpolarity 2012-07-10 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Well. There is something Vector would like, he won't deny that.

"There are tasks," he admits slowly, "that one could use assistance with. If you cared to help shape a world and prepare it for its birth. If you choose not to..."

He shrugs, very slightly.

He'll be disappointed, but he will not deny one on that alone.
raceme: (Are you okay?)

[personal profile] raceme 2012-07-11 03:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Everyone always wants something, event the higher ranks. Specially the higher ranks, in fact.

"Tasks...I could do that ofcoursesir."

"Then there is no further 'downside' that I can imagine, aside from what discomfort you have being away from your home."

He tilts his head.

"My Acolytes may be able to help you if you run in to trouble. If you need something, you may speak with them."
