OPENING LOG: Awakening

WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.

Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.

Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.

You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.

So.

Now what?

((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...

OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

Oh, apparently this one didn't understand english too bad. And he was apparently speaking ... Japanese.

Even if Starscream didn't understand, he'd still point a finger directly at Deckerd and look all offended like.

"What did you call me?!"

Because this was much more fun than talking normally.

Oh no- he must have said something wrong. Deckerd's hands go up in a disarming gesture.

"N-no, uh. I just... oh. Please don't-"

He doesn't even know what the guy is angry about.

"Please- I'm just looking for my- ah..."

This is probably the worst thing here yet.

"You know, you're too easy."

Starscream's expression switched to a rather smug grin instead of his accusing one.

He should have thought about doing this with the humans back on Earth.

Then again they usually just ran screaming from him, so that wouldn't have worked.

But at least now he has a chance to harass a giant Japanese speaking robot.

Oh the fun.

"I wonder if you are Earth created or you were just corrupted by their society."

With that last remark he reached out and poked Deckered on his hat-like helmet.
patokichi: (Ah?!)

[personal profile] patokichi 2012-07-08 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
He seems entirely surprised, and even more confused.

"Ah-... can you understand me?"

He's about to try to explain himself but there's a finger jabbing into his helm and he jerks his head away, looking just a bit offended.

This is.

Obviously going to be interesting.

"Maybe. Maybe not."

Starscream actually spoke in Japanese back to Deckerd and he doesn't seem to mind that he probably offended the blue-ish mech.

He considered answering in a completely different language, but the guy seemed like he was still easy to pick on no matter what.

"What is your name?"

So he has something to attach to his harassment victim.
patokichi: (SERIOUSLY?)

[personal profile] patokichi 2012-07-11 08:36 am (UTC)(link)
Well. Okay.

Deckerd really doesn't know what to say to that, other than answer with his name. This mech is larger than he is, and he gets the feeling he's being toyed with.

It's rather discomforting.

"Deckerd. And you?"
aerospacecommander: (starscream 1)

[personal profile] aerospacecommander 2012-07-16 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
"You can call me Primus."

This Deckerd guy didn't need to know his real name and if he actually believed he was a giant robot-god-planet, the better!

He smirked and leaned in to flick the front of Deckerd's helm-hat.

"So, you're rather human-ish inspired in looks. New type of Cybertronian who is a human-fan or am I off the mark?"
patokichi: (I don't like that...)

[personal profile] patokichi 2012-07-17 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
He takes a step back, glaring, not liking the flagrant disrespect, nor being touched by a total stranger.

"Alright, Primus."

He honestly has never heard the name before.

"I'm not a Cybertronian. I was built by humans." He gestures, obviously...

He looks like a traditional Japanese police officer.
aerospacecommander: (starscream 4)

[personal profile] aerospacecommander 2012-07-17 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oh good, Deckered believed him for now.

"Oh really? Pff. Human technology. Surprised they even got as far as to make even a semi-close replica."

He circled around Deckerd as if he were studying him. There was no way a human created machine -- regardless if he looked and behaved like a Cybertronian -- could actually even be close to one.

"I'd say I was impressed, but ... humans."
patokichi: (Gosh darn it)

[personal profile] patokichi 2012-07-17 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
"There's nothing wrong with humans."

Sure, they can be... ignorant, intolerant, violent. Yes. But to Deckerd he takes the bad with the good. To him- he's almost human. A child of humanity.

"Forget it, if you haven't seen Yuuta I really need to get going," He hisses, annoyed, turning his back to leave.
aerospacecommander: (starscream 2)

[personal profile] aerospacecommander 2012-07-22 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
"Sure there is. They're small, annoying and they have all these freaky squishy parts. They are walking bags of fluids and flesh."

Unfortunately for Deckerd, Starscream wasn't through with annoying him. Besides, he could afford to waste some time.

So he followed the other robot.

"Who is this Yuuta anyway? Girlfriend? Boyfriend? Pet? Unrequited love interest?"
patokichi: (Gosh darn it)

[personal profile] patokichi 2012-07-22 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"I don't see an issue with that," Deckerd says tersely, still marching straight ahead, trying to outpace Starscream.

"He's my best friend. He's just a child. He would not be out here alone."

Just a child, he says. As if that was even remotely what could be an apt description. Yuuta is much more than 'just a child'.
