OPENING LOG: Awakening
WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.
Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.
Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.
You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.
So.
Now what?
((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...
OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

The design was odd, somewhat similar to the way he had previously been before Optimus Prime had damaged him. Similar, but not quite. Not that much like Swindle's either.
Intriguing.
And this larger mech clearly knew what was going on.
"Do you expect any in this situation not to have questions." It's less of a question itself, and more of a statement.
"Judging by what I've seen so far, returning to Earth will not be possible at this time. Unless you know of a way, you cannot answer my question."

The design was markedly odd. Complex. It almost seemed exposed, really, with the number of intricate surface details he could pick out. An interesting take on armor in any case; though it would hardly be a fair fight, he decided he'd like to see how well it held up in an arena match against him. Maybe later.
“Why, precisely, would you care to return to Earth for that matter? Unless you're studying the local population of organics.”

He's a scientist, there are times he does act like it.
Shockwave doesn't move as the other mech circles him, not even bothering to turn his head. There is no concern, for the moment this other is no threat. Nothing that needs removing.
"I have a task I must complete," straight to the point. "For the future of Cybertron, and the destruction of the Autobots."
The destruction of the Autobots being slightly more interesting to him than Cybertron's revival. It would always be the path for him, not the goal.

They were all Cybertronian, weren't they?
Megatronus chuckled. If Solus couldn't build a bridge back through the Lambda, no one could – especially not this little mech, however highly he thought of himself. The assurance and lack of fear pleased him, however. This one might be of use.
“There is such a thing as a one-way trip; thus far, no one has ever managed to travel the Lambda in reverse. You're free to spend your time imagining ways it might be accomplished. Until then, your 'task' will have to wait, though you may help build the future of this Cybertron.”

"The Lambda-" Shockwave finds himself pausing, attention perked by what he hears next.
This Cybertron.
This pile of scrap they were on was Cybertron? A Cybertron? It did not look it, and that-
"This is Cybertron... Explain."
