OPENING LOG: Awakening
WHO: Everybody!
WHERE: The Junk Pile.
WHEN: Right here, right now.
WHAT: Game opening! Our Heroes find themselves in a strange place not of their own world, however familiar (or not) it may be.
Consciousness is slow, and a struggle to obtain. The moments before darkness are hazy enough; a great vertigo, a twisting, and then, falling. Falling for what seemed like forever. And when you are finally aware of your surroundings, it is most decidedly not where you came from.
Instead, you are now in what appears to be a wasteland. A wasteland...of junk. Debris as far as you can see, heaped in mini-mountains that offer only so good of a view of the world around you. Perhaps in the distance, you can make out some flatter land, perhaps you can just make out what looks like a crevice - but it's difficult at best. The light here is all wrong, the two greatest sources being a white line in the alien sky that doesn't so much give off light as simply have it - and something in the south that glows like a setting sun.
You may or may not notice it at first, but you, too, have something alien - something on your arm, more likely than not. A marking that glows softly, but offers no clue as to how it got there - no pain, no sensitivity. It's simply there, as you are here.
So.
Now what?
((OOC: This is it, you guys! Have a blast! Please remember to keep everything under the first thread for now; we'll be adding the Firstforged in in a little bit...
OKAY There is now a second thread to post in! Feel free to make new threads there to react to the arrival of the Firstforged, or respond directly to the Firstforged themselves.))

o boy here we go
"Roxas? What the devil are you wearing?"
Was this Roxas? He seemed too... cheerful. But it certainly wasn't Sora, either. He was going to chalk this up to time shenanigans, but it was disconcerting to be unable to figure out what kind of time displacement he was dealing with. Once again, it seemed his grasp of his own element had slipped.
"Anyway, I'm afraid I've no idea where we are. ... what's the last thing you recall, Roxas? I suspect we may be adrift in time, as well as space."
XD Poor Luxord. He's going to be SO confused
"I'm wearing my usual outfit." He replies, having nearly climbed to where Lux is. "What's wrong with it?"
Nope, he's definitely not Roxas. His hair style is slightly different and his hair in general seems a bit darker. Plus, there's the fact that he's smiling. Something Roxas rarely did, if ever.
"Well… That's a complicated question." Ven rubs the back of his head. The last thing he remembers consciously? He can easily tell Luxord that. The last thing his heart remembers? That's…he's still gleaming bits and pieces of the faded memories. "And I'm not Roxas. Not sure who he is either. I'm Ventus. Nice to meet you." He holds out a hand for Lux to shake.
luckily he's pretty used to stuff coming out of left field
Roxas, just how many clones do you have now? Four, at this point? Slow down, boy.
He shakes his head a bit. "My sincere and humble apologies, I mistook you for someone else. You bear an uncanny resemblance to an acquaintance of mine..."
And now, at last, he shakes Ventus' hand.
"Luxord. A pleasure, I'm certain."
probably helps that he's a Nobody
"Really? Weird. I've never heard that before." He figures that the momentary pause was just Luxord in shock and doesn't seem bothered by it.
"Luxord. That's a cool name." And you know what would be cooler? If he gave you a nickname. "So, Luxord, do you have any idea how we got here? You said something about time and space earlier." Which flew right over his head.
no subject
He looks up at the sky. He has a few suspicions about that white rift in the sky, but there's no certainty at all.
"... I've not a clue, truly. There's a number of strange fellows about as well—giant robots, if you'd believe it."
He grins. "Just when you think you've seen every card in the universe's deck, she draws something new from the pile and proceeds to soundly trump you. A man needs to think on his feet, to win a game like that..."
