re_alignment_logs | A formal dance.

WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: The Atrium, Haven's Hub.
WHEN: Today! The dance will go on from the late afternoon until the early hours of the morning.
WHAT: Have your top hat and cane? This is a formal ball. The origination is a drunken Vandal and battle-worn Saber.
WARNINGS: Could be anything from bar fights to drunken swearing to people tripping over their own feet or people making out in a corner.

Welcome to the dance!
     The Atrium will have its doors open in the late evening. For the first two hours, Vandal and Drift will be acting as receptionist and bouncer. After that, the doors close. At the reception desk, you will be required to sign your name and also hand over any weapons that you are carrying. (Within the building there is an inhibitor placed. No one will be able to use any weaponry on their person.)

     The Atrium is decorated in royal purple and black, with accents of white and pearl. The decorations are standard fair for a ball. There's hanging draperies, table clothes, and colored lighting. Towards the outside of the circular Atrium, everyone will be under a glowing white light. Towards the middle of the dance floor, there is a much softer lavender that illuminates the immediate area.

     Vandal and Saber organized and planned, and then helped with decorations. They will also be over seeing the event throughout the entire night. Vandal will be handling the reception desk and registration. We have Frenzy as our DJ in the Atrium, and Miko will be playing electric guitar for those who decide to visit the bar. Saber, Ironhide, and McCrane will be acting as security. They would be the best to contact should you have any.. safety concerns. Our bouncer, Drift, will be "on call" for security once his primary assignment is done. Kay organized and lead the decorating, and Ravage and McCrane helped with placing them. Melan and Joe gathered needed materials. Skidaddle is the one to blame for having the supply of available hats at the doors for any Cybertronian who tries to get past the one piece of attire rule.

     Feel free to post in any sub-forum area you think your character would be present in (with or without an opening post), or merely tag others. Prose or action-spam is okay (and you may want to include this in your initial posts if you want others to tag you). Bonus: include links to garments your character may be wearing. Oh, come on, Elita. That song had some fresh ass beatz. How could you not like it?

Frenzy shrugged. "Eh, well, the music'll convince ya if my smoot tawkin' don't," he said. With that, he begun to dance - it was... Well, it wasn't bad. It was a little dorky at times, sure, but Frenzy could legitimately move. Even with his blocky frame. Just those couple of seconds where he snapped his fingers and stomped his foot just... kind of temporarily threw off the groove.

"Yea, baby, yea! Ya like dat!?" Frenzy spun and then did the Goddamn moon walk.

Oh, all right then, it did.

"Perhaps." But then, okay, he could dance well enough, and it wasn't particularly hard to simply move with the song and around Frenzy either, even if she didn't quite relax, though when Frenzy did the moonwalk, Elita burst out laughing.

Not at him, but the motion was just... ahem, unexpected.

"You're not without some skill, no," Elita said, some laughter still lingering.

Frenzy stopped, swept one hand behind his back, another across his chest, and bowed like a proper gentleman. Too bad when he stood back up, he was grinning like a perv again.

"Now, ya gonna move wit' me, toots?" he asked, sidling back up to her, shaking his hips. Maybe a bit too close, but like he even cared. "Try an' keep up if ya can~"

One step forward, ten steps back. Elita huffed and used Frenzy slide closer to make a twirl around him, giving Frenzy a tap on the top of his helm as she passed behind him and then slid in front again.

"This sort of dancing, I shouldn't have any issues keeping up."

Because this sort of dancing was rather close to martial arts, at least in the sense of moving with and against in close proximity to someone else... and that she could certainly do.

Frenzy gave a little "huh?" at the twirl then head tap. He turned around, quickly. The confusion was then replaced with a big grin. "Yea! Dat's wat I like t'hear!" He started shaking those hips.

"Yer lucky I'm lettin' ya keep up~" He swung up beside her, hip giving her leg a little bounce against.

Oh, Frenzy. If he could just be less aggravating, the moments he was sort of adorable would be even more delightful. Laughing, Elita shook her helm and gently tapped her foot against his hip while taking another twirl around him.

"Of course. How could it be anything else?" He was an annoying little punk with an attitude she didn't particularly like, but at the same time he could have flashes of... tolerable behaviour.

Frenzy laughed. "Glad ya see things my way, toots," because, obviously, he is dumb, BUT! Frenzy smirked. "I mean, E-lit-ta~" Sure, it was kind of patronizing, but there was a hint of suave in there. Somewhere.

"Yanno, s'too bad yer an Autobutt. I told ya that, right?" He shimmied. "'Cause, baby, we could make sweet music t'gether."

"Well, I suppose it's too bad you're a Decepticon, Frenzy, because I'm not that light on my feet when it comes to principles," Elita said with a small smirk, shaking her helm and then stopped at the same time the music did, dipping in a bow.

"Thank you for the dance, but I believe that's all the music we'll be creating together." And then she winked at him.
