What's December Without Christmas Eve? [Tree Decorating: OPEN]

WHEN: From now until what counts as 'New Years' for Cybertron (New Years Day for us?)
WHAT: Tree Decorating!
WARNINGS: Infinite cute and maybe tree eating

Well, Kay and Elita had done it. It took awhile, and surprisingly, all in one night, but they'd been able to grab branches from the large crystal trees that the pink robot had grown, and placed them all around Haven. Where, specifically? Outside the temples! Really, surprised no one noticed it.  But to those who walk out of the them, they'll now notice a tree on either their right or left, empty, glittering, and with a note.



What could this mean? What's this? There's trees everywhere! What's this? And depending on what your alignment is/where you live, you'll get a different tree. 

(ooc: I'll be putting comments up for each quadrant's tree. Comment under whichever one you'd like to react to/decorate/chat with people under. It's a huge mingle thread! Also, don't forget to put your tag in the log!

Well call HER impressed. She takes a few steps back as he hops on, eyes not removing themselves for a moment while he makes his way up. That...that was pretty cool. Now if only HER key could do that... When he gets to an area of the tree that looks rather bare, and yet is visible from the distance, she holds her hands up.

"Stop right there!"

She scurries to just under the spot, hopping and pointing.

"Right there! Everyone could see it from right there!"

     He hovers back a bit as Kay shouts, pointing to the supposed spot in question until confirmed by the bouncing girl below.

     "Okay!" Ventus pipes, turning to carefully drape the cord of his Wayfinder over one of the angled crystal fronds. Floating his glider back, he smiles before heading back down to where Kay is standing.

She hurries over, obviously satisfied with the placement of the Wayfinder. NOW she's more interested in THAT.

"You're just full of surprises, aren't ya?"

     "What, you mean about this?"

     The boy grins as he glances down at his glider. "I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet." He tilts his head, then shifts forward a bit on the platform. "You wanna...." He gestures with a small jerk of his head, thumbing upwards.

Can I really?

[No, you know what? She's going to hop on before he says anything, holding onto him just in case it...moves or something.]

     With a laugh, Ventus waits until Kay's hopped aboard- not that he expected anything otherwise of her. Once she's holding on, the boy takes the glider on up, being careful not to go too quickly so that the girl behind him can get a better sense of balance first.

She gives a little yelp of excitement as they go up, eyes becoming the size of dinner plates as they float. She's always wanted to fly, really, and this...this is close.

"Oh wow...!"

She holds on a little tighter, looking down at the ground below.

"This came from your key?"

     They loop the tree once, drifting higher and away from Prima's temple. Ready for a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom Haven, Kay?

     "Yep! Pretty handy, huh?"

"You bet it is! Wow...you can see so much from here, and it definitely beats walking!"

SHOW HER THE WORLD, VEN.

     Ventus nods at that. "Oh yeah, definitely! Especially when everything here's like a hundred miles away from each other!"

     He will! AND IT WILL BE SHINING, SHIMMERING, SPLENDID.

"I think the real question is...how fast can it go?"

Her toe taps the bottom of it, as if testing it's support.

     "You really want to find out?" he asks, glancing over his shoulder at her with an impish grin.

     "Hang on!"

     He'll only put on speed once he's sure Kay's got a good grip.

Her arms snap around him tightly as they take off, and she's instantly reduced to speaking only in laughter. It was like a REALLY cool roller coaster, in her opinion.

"Ahh!!"

Her eyes peek open, and she can see the ground zipping beneath them.

It was...amazing.

     Laughing in response, Ventus brings them around to circle about the Haven's various quadrants. This way they could have a look at all the different trees too! He'd meant to do so anyway, but having someone along for the ride just made it that much more fun.

Seeing all the quadrants like this was beautiful. They all seemed so different, but had their own little...charm to them. It was something you couldn't always see from up close. Her eyes widen as they pass over the Trion quadrant, squeezing a little tighter at the tree.

"That one's my favourite!"

And it's totally not because she's Trion aligned.

     "Wow!"

     He's never seen trees like this before, so it's definitely interesting to see all the different shape the crystalline forms take here. "That one's pretty neat!"

[littlecrowgirl]

"Oh oh oh! Go to Mr. Vector's! I like that one!"

Her head picks up, as if trying to figure out which way leads to Vector's Quadrant.

     "You got it! Let's see, that should be..."

     Ventus looks around as well, then veers the glider eastward. "That way, right?"

[littlecrowgirl]

"That looks about right! It's a really tall tree. And sharp. I thought it kinda looked like a sword."

She won't lie, it's half the reason she picked it.

     As they get closer, the boy nods. "Huh, I see what you mean!" A strange sword, perhaps, but he's used to weapons of unusual appearance that he could see something like that possibly being used.

"I forget the name of it, but I think it was used in old time Japan. Really fits Mr. Vector, huh?"

[happyduckbutt]

     "Wow, so there's really a sword that looks like that?" He tilts his head. "....I can't say though- I don't think I've met that one yet."

[littlecrowgirl]

"Yeah! Oh man, what was it's name...

Shichishito! That's what it is. It's a long sword with barb things on it. It's for...stabs more than slicing."

Okay Kay that's a bit morbid.

"Or...so I've heard."

     Maybe just a little.

     "I...see..."

     They circle it a few times before being carried on up again. "So where to next?" the boy asks.
