What's December Without Christmas Eve? [Tree Decorating: OPEN]

WHEN: From now until what counts as 'New Years' for Cybertron (New Years Day for us?)
WHAT: Tree Decorating!
WARNINGS: Infinite cute and maybe tree eating

Well, Kay and Elita had done it. It took awhile, and surprisingly, all in one night, but they'd been able to grab branches from the large crystal trees that the pink robot had grown, and placed them all around Haven. Where, specifically? Outside the temples! Really, surprised no one noticed it.  But to those who walk out of the them, they'll now notice a tree on either their right or left, empty, glittering, and with a note.



What could this mean? What's this? There's trees everywhere! What's this? And depending on what your alignment is/where you live, you'll get a different tree. 

(ooc: I'll be putting comments up for each quadrant's tree. Comment under whichever one you'd like to react to/decorate/chat with people under. It's a huge mingle thread! Also, don't forget to put your tag in the log!

And at that grin, Kay presses herself close to him in a squeeze, hugging him tight. "Thanks so much Ven. That's a huge help...


It's hard running everywhere. When Kagerou's or anyone else is busy."

     "Whoa-!" And here he thought her grip couldn't get any tighter. He doesn't mind the hug though. With no Aqua around, he's not been getting his quota.

     "You're welcome! -yeah, I kinda figured. I tried it just to see how long it would take. It's kind of crazy..." he laughs.

She nods, tilting her head slightly to get a better look at the ground below.

"Yeah, I used to walk everywhere...it took forever. But I've got some robot friends who give me rides...and now you!"

     "Doesn't hurt to have another back-up," Ventus shrugs, smiling at her lopsidedly.

"I'll return the favor someday, promise."

She actually seems really thankful about this. Despite having LEGS OF STEEL now she really doesn't mind the rides to and from.

     "Aw, you don't have to worry about it. After all, what are friends for?" It makes him happy to say as much too.

There's one more squeeze of thanks.

"Friends...you know, it's really easy to make friends here. I'm not sure how I ever had problems back home."

     "...yeah, it is. I'm kinda glad for that." He blinks, glancing over his shoulder. "...it wasn't the same way back where you're from?"

[littlecrowgirl]

"No...I didn't really have a lot of friends. You know, aside from high school. But it was really awkward sometimes."

[happyduckbutt]

     "High school?" Ventus tilts his head. "I...guess for me, it's always kind of been like this. All the friends I've made have been from other worlds- well, aside from Aqua and Terra, but...I'm not even sure where they originally came from. I don't even remember where I came from before I met them."

She tilts her head a bit herself, thinking about that.

"Oh right, I forget you travel to worlds a lot. It's still kind of new to me. I think the farthest I went was like...to Japan. Not a different world..."

     "Well, not a whole lot, but I'd like to think I was getting the hang of it."

[littlecrowgirl]

"Can you give me details? Like...how'd you do it?"

[happyduckbutt]

     Ventus looks ahead again. "Only Keyblade wielders can travel to other worlds, and we use the Lanes Between to do it. We use these to travel them," he said, tapping his foot on the glider beneath them. "But it's dangerous to go without protection, so we also have to wear armor."

[littlecrowgirl]

Her grip tightens slightly as she listens, resting her head on his shoulder in thought. "...You think it could work for this world? I mean...I know the Lambda messes some stuff up, but if it wasn't there, do you think you could open it up?"

Just a thought.

     She can't see the slight waver in his expression then. What she suggested then wasn't the first time, and the one that had done so was now gone with the other Glyphless.

     With the way ahead of them clear of obstacles (that's the nice thing about flying high), Ventus lifts his head to look up at the gaping tear of blue that glows so brightly in the sky above. "...I'm not sure. It should, but I won't know for sure without trying."

She follows that gaze, looking up at that tear. It was...interesting. But she had to admit it had an intimidating look about it.

"I hear it messes up anything that flies too close..."

[happyduckbutt]

     "....yeah. That's what I heard too. But I was told, maybe if we were able to get past it, then maybe I'd be able to use my Keyblade to open the Lanes Between."

[littlecrowgirl]

"I wonder if the robots would know about that. It's their planet...and I think I heard they wanted to build a ship?"

[happyduckbutt]

     "Alpha Trion told me one of the Firstforged had been trying to make one too, I think. There was someone that said they were planning on working on one though. They said they might need me to help with something, but I haven't heard from them since. ...but I guess it's been kind of crazy since then."

[littlecrowgirl]

"Yeah...the Glyphless thing messed stuff up, didn't it..."

And Overlord. And...well, everything. But she didn't want to think about HIM, so she'd just try to...hug that out.

     "...yeah..." Ventus says quietly. Seems there's no avoiding the subject. It just brings up all sorts of bad feelings, but hugs do wonders for those things.

"Well...we got lots of time now, I think."

She'll try to keep that bubbly attitude.

     The boy nods slowly as he glances up at the sky again. "Mm. Time to work on lots of things."

"That's right. No better time than now!"

She follows his gaze, focusing on the Lambda again.

"Especially once things quiet down again."
