[OPEN] Movie night~

Who: Blurr and anyone who wants to see a movie, get drunk or just don't feel lonely
What: Movie night for the tinny single unloved mechs.
Where: Blurr's room.
When: Afternoon/night.
Warnings: None

Blurr learned thanks to Gunmax that Valentine’s was a day to celebrate with those you cared about. He knew that Wheeljack wasn’t the most romantic type. Suggesting something like that could get the wrecker running into the opposite direction and Blurr was not about to risk it. He left a present in Wheelajck’s room, a handmade new sword and a small card with his name on it and that was it.

Because spending the day with him was not an option that even crossed Blurr's mind he chose the next best thing: spend the night watching a movie with friends. It was not a great plan, but it was better than being lonely. They had energon goodies and regular cubes, and Blurr had found a copy of the ‘Princess Bride’ to watch. Only fifteen minutes onto the movie and he already loved it.

Fracas doesn't really know much about human holidays - aside from Christmas, they all seemed to like that one but he wasn't sure why everyone liked a large bearded man breaking into their homes - but he's not going to pass up company. Of course he came by to see the movie. Even if he's not familiar with many human movies... but so far this is great. He can get behind holidays that involve movies like this.

"This is really fun."

Just that he's avoiding the energon, for the time being. Washing out his mask is a bit of a pain and he'd prefer to avoid that.

Blurr is not an expert either and so far only bad things had happened to him during holidays. But he's with friends now, what could go wrong?

"I think so too." Blurr offers him some snacks. Energon Goodies are not high grade, you could have some fracas. Blurr's curious about how do you actually eat. "I never done anything like this WHEN I was in my own world."

Fracas's few holiday experiences haven't been too bad, really, but this one has been especially good. Friends and movies and snacks.

He waves one claw. "That's all right. Eating is... kind of tricky, for me." There is the hole in his mask, but he prefers just doing it in private, or with Shockwave. "I haven't either. I kind of wish I had now, though. It's pretty nice."

Friends and movies and snacks had become Blurr's favorite combination of things, definitelly.

"Oh sorry. I have straws it you need one." He lived with First Aid, he was used to mouthless mechs. "What sort fo things you did in your world to relax and have fun?"

Some time after the movie's over and people are just mingling, Thundercracker notices the Vehicon not too far from where he is. The mech is of an alien build, so very different from anything he's seen before. Well . . . no, maybe not so much so. Knock Out has similar curves and such. So do a few other mechs now that he thinks about it. It's still largely alien to his perception. But the mech wears the same sigil that brands the Seeker's broad wings, so . . . why not?

He approaches and offers a nod in greeting. "I don't think I've seen you around." The mech is a Decepticon at a party being thrown by an Autobot - that fact alone bears checking out, if only for curiosity's sake.

Fracas isn't familiar with the Seeker, but he's at least gotten more comfortable talking to other mechs since he got here. Less stuttering and a little less worry that someone might take offense. And the airframe has the same symbol as he does, which means a lot to him. Even if he's gotten to be friends with some of the Autobots here.

He perks a little, wheels twitching. "Oh! I've been around a while, I just... I'm usually in Megatronus's temple training. Or Solus's temple." The Vehicon can't say he recognizes the other mech, either. Still, he extends his hand for a shake. "I'm Fracas. And you are?"

The Seeker takes the hand easily enough. "Thundercracker. So you're a friend of Blurr's?"

Seems the Autobot gets around quite a bit, if the number and variety of mechs around them are anything to go by.

Once Blackarachnia settled in, she wasted no time nabbing some of the energon goodies and relaxing. So far, it didn't seem she had to worry about Blurr being a threat and hopefully that extended to the people he considered friends.

Besides, this would be her first chance to actually see an Earth movie. And so far, it was strange but interesting.

Blurr came back form getting more energon cubes for everyone and he sat near her, but not too near to be considered an annoyance. He was surprised that Blackarachnia accepted the invitation, but glad she decided to come.

"Humans movies are rather fun, aren't they?"

The invitation had been a little bit of a surprise to her. But hey why not. It beat being stuck in a lab for hours on end or in the junk pile. Even this she-spider needed a break from time to time.

She glanced up when he sat down near her and nodded a bit before glancing back at the movie.

"I guess. Are they all like this?"

Blurr thought that people could need some company today. He needed it, even if he wasn't all that into human traditions.

"This is the second one I SAW. The first one looked different..like cartoons." Vandal showed him Beauty and the Beast.

He really only intended to stop in for a moment. He didn't want to refuse the invitation. But... he had something else he needed to do, as foolish as he might be thought of for doing it.

So, when he slipped in, it was in silence, and he kept to the back of the room, his head slightly bowed. He'd stay there if need be.

Just another shadow in the crowd.

Shadows can't be seen, but they can still smell. Frank noticed soemthign different in the room and started to sniff around until he found what it was.

He then pawed at Kagerou to get his attention.

He wasn't even really paying attention to the creature sniffing around his feet. He preferred to watch the others -- to get a feel for what they were doing, and mimic them. They were watching the screen... so he must--

He looked down.

And something twisted in his AI. There was a moment where, just for a second, the shape of the animal was all too familiar, and his mind wanted, desperately, to believe it was something -- someone -- else entirely.

All the same... he knelt. And held his hand out.

Frank's ears dropped at the confused stare but he quickly pressed his head against the other when the hand was offered. He wiggled his tail in happiness.

"Yip yip."

Megatron would have tried to slip in unobtrusively, but with his size he couldn't help to be anything but obtrusive when he tried otherwise. Instead he arrived before the movie was supposed to start and found himself somewhere to sit.

He made sure that he was welcoming to anyone who chose to approach him.

[Blurr was sitting close but at the same time he kept a certain distance from the other, he didn't want to get into anybody's personal space. Frank, however, had no such consideration and rested his head on Megatron's knee, snuggling closer. His leg was still healing and he wanted all the petting he could get.]

I'm sorry, _{if he's bothering you} I can take him out. [Blurr interfered. He rather kept Frank in a place where he could see him and check on his leg from time to time but he didn't want the turbofox pestering others.

[Megatron was petting Frank fondly, not at all upset by less than subtle request for attention.]

No, he's fine, in fact, it's kind of nice. He reminds me a little of the predacons back home, even the more regal ones liked to come for some one on one attention, appreciating having ears and other hard to reach plating scratched and soothed.

Ravage was nomming on an energon goodie when Megatron walked in. Of course the recordicon was very happy to see his leader and started to bounce around some before he jumped right into the larger mech's lap.

"Megatron!"

He had anticipated that kind of reaction from Ravage and had his arms so that he could make sure the recordicon didn't slide off his lap, gently placing a hand on his back once he had completed the jump.

"Hello Ravage. How are you feeling?"

Smokescreen had debated about going then debated some more, not really sure if he wanted to but, at the same time, he knew he was just lying to himself. He really did want to go, knew he should so he wasn't just hiding away forever, and well...

It could be fun, right?

He arrived after the movie had already started and slipped in quietly, settling himself down near the back of the room. No reason to bother anyone else since they were already engrossed in the movie, right?

No reason to bother anybody but they will notice someone sneaking int. At least Blurr's turbofox, Frank, will notice the new scent. His ears perked up and he sniffed around until he found the new mech.

"Yip!" Got ya.

Thundercracker's gotten much better than he used to be at the whole "being social" thing, but he's still not a terribly "social" mech. But that doesn't mean he doesn't get lonely.

Still, crowds make him twitchy, so he debates a bit before finally making his way to Blurr's place. He stiffens at the door at seeing so many here and nearly withdraws before anyone can notice him, but he catches himself. Silently cursing himself for a coward, he squares his shoulders, wings flicking, and steps into the room, affecting as much of an "as if he belongs there" aura as he can.

Blurr was busy preparing some goodies so when the seeker comes in he carrying two large bags of what seems to be popcorn energon.

"Thundercracker! I'm GLAD you decided to come."

Thundercracker nods in greeting, even grinning a little at the sight of his bustling friend. "Thank you. If my wingmate were here, he'd be telling me that I need to get out more anyway. What are those?" The only energon he's ever really seen is glowing pink, fluid, and normally stored in very large, transparent (and collapsible!) cubes.
