Who: Miko and You~!
Where: Ratchet’s Medbay
When: Earlier today
What: Miko has some art she wants to put in the Medbay for Ratchet, but she’s kind of hoping to make it a surprise.
Warnings: Miko? Nothing I can think of.
Miko could be found dragging a large board toward Ratchet’s Medbay. The girl seemed to be struggling with the board that was a couple feet taller than her and about twice as long as she was tall. This meant that even though the board was very thin, far too thin to construct anything with, it was awkward and difficult for her to move.
From the right side of the board it could be seen what was on it that prompted her to be trying to move it in the first place. In what looked like colored pencil there was a drawing of five mechs and three humans. Anyone who had seen Miko’s doodles before would easily be able to tell that this was her own art.
(OOC: This is the image.

Tiny human with big board. That isn't making it into the medbay at any sort of speed.
Well, that's okay. he can handle it just fine. He's gotten used to humans lately so his natural reaction is hissing and baring his dentals and claws anymore. But that doesn't mean he can't have a little fun with things.
He slouches one shoulder against the wall, hips cocking, and just watches her for a few moments with his arms crossed over his chassis. Finally, he speaks.
"Want some help with that?"
no subject
"Depends on what kind of help you mean."
She tried to find a symbol of either faction on him, but where she was standing compared to him made it hard to see anything like that.
no subject
If she looks close enough at his pauldrons, she might catch sight of his old Decepticon logos in a police shield... though the faction symbols are gouged over like he'd torn at them with his claws.
"Depends what you think 'help' means, I suppose."
no subject
She watches closely as he crouches down, her shoulders going back further, leaving her arching away from him just a little, instead of looking bigger than she is. Her eyes flicker for a short moment to the claws on the hand he braced on the floor before focusing back on his face.
Okay, so bluffing obviously did nothing with this guy, maybe he didn't mean to be creepy scary. After all it's not like he picked how he looked, right?
The tension in her shoulders releases, though not to the point of sagging, and she turns a much more pleading look to him. "I think it would be really nice help if you might be willing to make sure Ratchet isn't in the medbay so I can get this in there and up without him knowing until it's done." She waves at the art, which would be visible from where he was at this point.

That, and she's clearly not going to start shrieking the way that the Witwicky child had. The lack of processor-ache was a definite plus for Barricade.
He blinks his optics - the upper pair followed by the lower pair - and flattens his plating down slightly as he thinks. "Hmm. I suppose I could do that. Was headin' in anyway, so it'd hardly be a bother."
no subject
She blinks with both pairs of eyes, but doesn't appear to find them odd or overly noteworthy; she was trying to be respectful of all the mechs she met here. She lets out a relieved and happy sigh. "Thank you mister!" She then turns back to start trying to haul the wood some more, hissing a little and popping her thumb into her mouth when she manages to get a sliver from it.

He finally stands back up, stepping over both Miko and the art very carefully to enter the medbay and give the room a good looking-over. Patients yes, Ratchet no. "Designation's Barricade little lady; I ain't really a 'mister'." After a pause, he adds, "Sure you don't want help with that board? I can't get splinters, y'know."
no subject
"Mice to meet ou Barricad" She says around the digit in her mouth, scrap that stings. The offer prompts her to pull it out in order to give a decently polite response. "Would you? Please. It would be a huge help." She gives him a bit of a smile.

Miko greetings do you need some help?
no subject
Oh would you, please Blurk? I need to find out if Ratchet is in the Medbay, cause I want to get this up without him knowing.
[Don't blame the girl for the nickname, Wheeljack told her to call you that.]

[She shifts a little bit nervously.]
Wheeljack said you would enjoy it... He probably just meant it to be a funny joke.
[When he grabs the board she beams, she hadn't thought about that part for help, she had been thinking someone to check and make sure the coast was clear.]
Thank you!
[When he make the sound she moves to look, hoping the art didn't get damaged. When it wasn't she wondered if he just didn't get what she had drawn.]
It's all the Autobots on Earth along with us, that is, the human friends. See there is me, and Bulkhead, Jack and Arcee, Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Raf and Bumblebee.
[She explained, pointing to each in turn, even though the names were already on the art.]
no subject
[Oh, only that? Blurr being Blurr chose to do the hardest part himself, that's how he can really help.]
You draw them all? It's...interesting Really nice Blumblebee is that big in your world? wow.
no subject
Yup. Ah... I think he might be a little smaller then that, but I couldn't erase it after I drew it on there.
no subject
puppyface.]I never saw anything like that before I think you did a great job. SoisthisforRatchet?
no subject
Th-thank you. Yeah, I though maybe it might be nice for him.
no subject
it could cheer him up. WheredoIputthis?

[He glances around a moment before noticing one area with a lot of carefully laid tools that just jumped out at her as Ratchet's work spot. She pointed to a small ledge that seemed perfectly in place.] Right up there would be perfect!

[The blue bot was still studying the picture when she spoke. Blurr moved to put the board in the place she wanted.]Do you think he will liked it DID you had this back at home as well?
no subject
I... don't know if he will, but I hope he does. No... but we were all together almost every day, so I figure a picture of us together would help.
no subject
I like it already if it's of any consolation.

[She smiles brightly at him.]

[She looks up at her own are judiciously.]
I'm sure Ratchet will know who it is though.
no subject
You all won't get homesick?
no subject
[Oh that question is a serious one.]
I don't know about Ratchet, but I'm already homesick, it's kind of hard not to get there.
no subject
[Blurr looks down at her, a sad expression in his face.]
Do you want a hug?
no subject
I'm a big girl...
but...
I do like hugs.

He manages a good half dozen steps in before the bright colours catch his eye.
"What...?"
Unconsciously, he wanders closer, cocks his head to the side in clear confusion. After blinking his optics at the strangely endearing picture, he places the art-style.
"... oh."
The right side of his mouth quirks up into the smallest of smiles, and he reaches forward to brush the very tips of his fingers against the figure that represents himself.

She watched him a bit, from the spot she had been in near one of the berths. When he reaches out to touch it, but doesn't do anything to remove it she steps out from the spot.
"I hope it's okay I put it up here." She said, giving him a look that was mixed hopeful and worried.
no subject
"It's more than okay. It's perfect."
He leans down and scruffs her hair -- the most he can do, since hugging her would be difficult.
"Thank you for this."
no subject
"I... wanted to say thank you for being here." She didn't want to admit how homesick she was right now but she wanted nothing more then to run up to her big green friend, hop inside and rock out. But having Ratchet, and Wheeljack, here helped her not feel quite so lonely.
