What's December Without Christmas Eve? [Tree Decorating: OPEN]

Well, Kay and Elita had done it. It took awhile, and surprisingly, all in one night, but they'd been able to grab branches from the large crystal trees that the pink robot had grown, and placed them all around Haven. Where, specifically? Outside the temples! Really, surprised no one noticed it.  But to those who walk out of the them, they'll now notice a tree on either their right or left, empty, glittering, and with a note.



What could this mean? What's this? There's trees everywhere! What's this? And depending on what your alignment is/where you live, you'll get a different tree. 

(ooc: I'll be putting comments up for each quadrant's tree. Comment under whichever one you'd like to react to/decorate/chat with people under. It's a huge mingle thread! Also, don't forget to put your tag in the log!

Shockwave knows of the human holiday, not that he understands why it needs to be celebrated here. Humans or not, putting up decorative trees makes little sense. The idea behind it is illogical, and it promotes stalling productive work. Humans.

Driller on the other hand found the tree to be fascinating, slithering around the tree and staring up its fang rotation. It rumbles and moves to devour the entire thing stopping when it gets a look from its master.

Instead a drill starts up and it chops off a branch, pulling it back to chew on it. As well as a driller can chew.

O-Oh. That was a really big snake. GIANT SNAKE. She saw Shockwave, and Shockwave had been...indifferent to her before. But she's having trouble with giant snake.

So don't mind if she is a little apprehensive.

"D-Don't eat it..."

As long as snake isn't say outloud, Kay won't have to be corrected. Which likely won't end well for anyone.

Humans talking when the Driller is busy with something? Nothing more than noise to it and easily ignored. It's not a voice it knows and it's not currently a threat. It can continue to gnaw away at its selected branch.

Shockwave on the other hand, isn't busy with much and Kay is the kind of human that's hard to miss. She's the annoying kind.

"I believe it is chewing."

Not eating.

Driller doesn't seem to be listening, and that is not making the small girl happy. But...Shockwave seems to be paying attention, so she'll pipe up to HIM about his pet.

Seriously bro, ever heard of a leash law?

"They're the same thing."

Leash laws don't work on Drillers.

"It hasn't swallowed it yet."

Chewing and eating. Not the same thing, Kay. Does he need to get you a dictionary?

Oh don't you go all stickler for WORD USAGE ON HER.

"It is in the process of eating. So HA."

She took English class. Unlike you.

It didn't take him years to learn one language, unlike you.

"Perhaps," he begins, looking at Kay and turning towards the Driller.

"Or it could simply be chewing. When it eats it merely shoves the item into its maw, and it is gone within a few of your seconds."

Her jaw drops open, staring at Driller a moment, then returning it to Shockwave.

"T-Then what's the point of chewing if it's gone that fast! You can't even savor the flavor!"

"I doubt it cares about flavor."

It certainly didn't care about what it ate, although it did enjoy shoving Cybertronians down its maw.

"Are you quite finished with your complaint now?"

"How can you not care about flavour? That's like...the whole point of eating!"

Seriously, why do it if you can't taste it?

"That's no way to talk to a lady."
