What's December Without Christmas Eve? [Tree Decorating: OPEN]

WHAT: Tree Decorating!

Well, Kay and Elita had done it. It took awhile, and surprisingly, all in one night, but they'd been able to grab branches from the large crystal trees that the pink robot had grown, and placed them all around Haven. Where, specifically? Outside the temples! Really, surprised no one noticed it.  But to those who walk out of the them, they'll now notice a tree on either their right or left, empty, glittering, and with a note.



What could this mean? What's this? There's trees everywhere! What's this? And depending on what your alignment is/where you live, you'll get a different tree. 

(ooc: I'll be putting comments up for each quadrant's tree. Comment under whichever one you'd like to react to/decorate/chat with people under. It's a huge mingle thread! Also, don't forget to put your tag in the log!

The Decepticon turns, looking down at Kay. What was it with him standing or sitting alone and suddenly humans become attracted to speaking with him. He didn't ask to be spoken to.

"Hi..."

Well, if he's not going to speak, she's going to do it for him. She walks up to the tree, placing a hand on it's 'trunk' (or one of them) and smiling towards him. "Do you like it? I picked this one just for Mr. Trion."

"You're really pretty!"

That's fine by him. The less he needs to talk to new people the better.

Also humans were weird (Sissel not included).

"You did this?" The how is implied there. Kay doesn't seem big enough to lift the thing herself. But maybe she has powers or something. It wouldn't be the- wait.

"What?"

Pretty?

"Yeah! You're all those bright colours! You really stand out among the others, you know?"

[dinnerdate]

"I know..."

He hears about it a whole lot. Usually in a negative light.

"I like these colours."

Dead End sighs, not that anyone else does.

"I like them too!"

She puts a hand to her cheek, walking around him and getting a good look at him.

"It just screams...'YOU'!"

Dead End watches silently as Kay circles him, going stiff wondering just what she's trying to do.

"You do?"

That. Well that was new. Could be a lie though... Probably was a lie.

"You?"

His colours don't scream anything.

"Yeah! You look like some super cool space hero!"

You know, the Tron of the Ace Attorney franchise.

"Yeah, it seems to fit you almost perfectly."

"A space hero?"

Space hero... Well he'd been in space plenty of times, but hero? No he'd never be anything like that. He wasn't even close.

"I'm not a hero, I'm a Decepticon." You know, those guys everyone wants dead.

"And my colours don't scream you."

[littlecrowgirl]

"Well Soundwave's a Decepticon, so not all of them are bad, you know. Don't think I don't know this."

She bounces slightly.

"Besides, you don't seem like TOO bad of a guy."

[dinnerdate]

"Soundwave..."

What- right different Soundwave. Weird to think about, he had to admit he was glad he had met the guy, even if he'd known there was one somewhere around. Probably best to just keep it that way.

"I'm terrible."

Kay you don't even know.

"What'd you do?"

She's curious now.

[dinnerdate]

Oh, she's asking. He hadn't expected her to ask. He didn't want her to ask. Kind of hard to stop now.

"It's not important."

Dead End simply stares at her in a please don't kind of way.

[littlecrowgirl]

"But if it wasn't important, you wouldn't have mentioned it..."

She takes a step closer, playing with her scarf.

"Is it that bad?"

[dinnerdate]

Dead End simply nods. Yes. Yes it's that bad.

Maybe if he says it's that bad she'll stop asking about it. Maybe she'll leave him alone entirely.

Who is he kidding? He's not that lucky.

"Well, a-are you going to hurt me?"

[dinnerdate]

Oh.

"No..."

Is he supposed to be? He's not exactly the kind of Decepticon that goes around randomly killing things. And not all in their faction care enough to even bother with humans as far as he's aware, so he's not the only one. Maybe. Just because he said he was terrible didn't mean...

Oh well.

[littlecrowgirl]

"Then you can't be that bad. You're not like Overlord..."

[dinnerdate]

"No, I'm not like Overlord."

He'll confirm it, sure. As far as he knows he's nothing like the guy, aside from them sharing a faction.

And he's kind of too short to be like him.

[littlecrowgirl]

"Then you can't be that bad. You're talking to a human and you don't want to kill me. That's points towards being good, you know."

At least, that's how she saw it.

[dinnerdate]

"There's no point in killing you."

She hasn't done anything aside from bother him, and even that would be only worthy of a 'shoo' or just walking off to a place she couldn't get.

"And I don't want any good points. You can keep them."

[littlecrowgirl]

"See, bad people don't really take that into account. They just eliminate whatever's bugging them just so they can have some peace. They don't really care."

Which you're not doing. You're just basically tolerating her. Which is a lot more than some people back home have done for her.

"Are you sure? I might steal them for good. Even if you want them later."

[dinnerdate]

"And then they get attacked for killing a human."

If it were him he'd be dead, beaten with pieces of scrap metal, maybe even thrown into a smelting pool. With the way his life was going he'd probably be tortured before all of that even happened. Made to starve while being tortured as an addition to the torture.

Life was short and it hated him.

"Yeah, I'm sure. Take them, I won't live long enough to ever want them."

[littlecrowgirl]

Wow, someone sure was a sad sack. Kay almost felt sorry for the guy.

"Now there, that's no attitude! How are you gonna go for gold if you're always battin' for bronze?

Kay, stop.

"Don't you know how to be a man?"

[dinnerdate]

"I... what?"

Dead End blinks, staring down at her with a slight tilt of his head. What the Pit is this human talking about? He's never been to Earth, these human phrases are foreign to him.

"Going for gold? I'm not really a fan of the colour..."

Could you just imagine trying to keep a paint job looking perfect if it were shiny and gold?

"And I'm uh, not human."

So. He can't be one of your human males.

This was very confusing.
