What's December Without Christmas Eve? [Tree Decorating: OPEN]
WHO: Anyone and Everyone!
WHERE: Around various parts of Haven
WHEN: From now until what counts as 'New Years' for Cybertron (New Years Day for us?)
WHAT: Tree Decorating!
WARNINGS: Infinite cute and maybe tree eating
Well, Kay and Elita had done it. It took awhile, and surprisingly, all in one night, but they'd been able to grab branches from the large crystal trees that the pink robot had grown, and placed them all around Haven. Where, specifically? Outside the temples! Really, surprised no one noticed it. But to those who walk out of the them, they'll now notice a tree on either their right or left, empty, glittering, and with a note.

What could this mean? What's this? There's trees everywhere! What's this? And depending on what your alignment is/where you live, you'll get a different tree.
(ooc: I'll be putting comments up for each quadrant's tree. Comment under whichever one you'd like to react to/decorate/chat with people under. It's a huge mingle thread! Also, don't forget to put your tag in the log!

As he finally made his way back to Alpha Trion's temple, he paused as he spotted the tree-archway, the rookie pausing as he stared up at it. His gaze fell on the note, optics flickering a bit as he recognized this sort of thing from the stuff he'd learned about Earth.
He couldn't help but grin a bit, reaching up and out to touch a part of the tree.

A small voice seemed to pipe up from behind him. She'd never seen this robot before...but, she kinda wished she had. He was REALLY pretty, after all. The white and the blue looked really nice together in her opinion, and robots with wings kind of had her at a weakness.
It's just the 38 that's got her.
no subject
"Call it my new lucky number," he mused, kneeling down to put himself a bit closer to the girl. "Name's Smokescreen."
no subject
"Mr. Lucky 38." It had a nice ring to it, now that she thought about it. But when hearing his new name, she giggles. "Smokescreen, huh? Do you make smoke or something? Where does it come out of?"
She certainly hoped it wasn't his mouth. That'll get you robot lung cancer.
no subject
Note to self: look into that.
"So. Do I get to learn your name or do I need to make something up?"
no subject
Are you a ninja, Smokescreen?
Oh. Oh right! Her name.
"I...I'm Kay!"
She shuffles in place after saying that, burying her face into that scarf.
no subject
"I'm definitely no ninja," he mused, puffing up a bit. "I'm an Elite Guard and member of Team Prim--" The rookie paused, his expression faltering for a quick second before he recovered. "Team Prime..."
His doorwings drooped just a bit but otherwise he seemed alright, grinning at her as she introduced herself.
And...got embarrassed?
"Nice to meet you, Kay~ Actually, I should say it's a pleasure to meet you~" he mused, trying to be suave.
no subject
That would explain why his armor was so shiny and white. And the helm had pretty red marks... Yes. Everything fit. "Team Prime...are they knights too?"
Oh.
Oh.
No stop Smokescreen you're making her giggle. "Well, I AM a legend~"
Kay, you sound like a moron.
no subject
This wasn't the time to think of that. This was home right now.
"I have no doubts about that," he mused, optics flickering in amusement. "You seem like the amazing type of girl that would be."
no subject
"Ahh! Y-You think so? I mean, I only JUST inherited the title, but I'll be the best Great Thief the world's ever seen!
Kay Faraday! Stealer of Truth and people's hearts!"
There's a slight fist pump with that, followed by a hop.
no subject
"You should add Cybertronian sparks to that list too," he mused, optics flickering a bit, the rookie clearly not having any qualms about flirting with the little human.
She was cute, for a human. So why not? Plus, she seemed to be enjoying the attention.
no subject
"You think so? I mean, I never tried it out before, but I AM a girl of many talents..."
Oh boy, she can't wait to tell Soundwave and Kagerou about you.

"I wouldn't touch it, might give you a virus."
He'll just be keeping a good amount of space between himself at this mech that can supposedly walk through walls. Stay over there, you.

Turning around, door wings lifting some, Smokescreen's gaze landed on the 'Con that had spoke to him and he couldn't help but smirk. They hadn't met in person, despite Smokescreen hoping they would, but oh how this was his lucky day.
"Lightbright! I was wondering when we'd run into each other!" he said happily, holding his arms out in a welcoming sort of gesture. "Virus? Doubtful. You're just being a spoilsport."
no subject
The nickname gains no comment, he'll just leave it and brood about it later, completely hating it. Nickname permissions must be gained. He always gets to deal with the haters doesn't he. Even if for him pretty much everyone fell into that category.
"For all you know, it could be a Decepticon trap made to lure in you Autobots that can't keep your hands to yourself."
Could happen.
no subject
He'd make up for that now of course.
"'Con trap? Considering that message that the Firstforged sent out about being nice to one another and not killing? I doubt it. Unless you 'Cons are really that stupid," the rookie mused, putting his hands on his hips.
no subject
He probably wouldn't get that, his luck is nowhere near that level of good. He wasn't about to get all friendly with this bot, and he doubts Smokescreen will stop harassing him now that they're face to face. No matter how much he backs up.
"Not all viruses kill."
no subject
Smokescreen noted the way the other moved back and stopped, a part of him wanting to keep pushing but..well...
He glanced over his shoulder at the archway, debating for a moment, thinking about everything that had gone on as of late before his optics once more were focused on Dead End.
"...So, know anything about Christmas?" he asked, jerking his thumb towards the archway.
no subject
Dead End peers over at the tree and then back to the Autobot before him, "It's a holiday."
...
Aaaannnnnddd that is the extent of his knowledge.
Well, aside from the holiday was a human thing, but he's pretty sure that doesn't need to be said. It clearly wasn't Cybertronian in origin.
no subject
"Very good, lightbright," he drawled before catching himself again. There was no reason to be a jerk right now, what with the holiday stuff going on. Plus, here, they were all on equal footing right?
Plus...Optimus would want him to be nice and respect the neutral aspect of this place. Here they were all the same. Or something like that.
"It's a holiday that humans celebrate specifically," Smokescreen went on to say, nodding towards the archway. "They usually decorate trees and stuff in their houses so I'm guessing this is someone's attempt at giving us something similar. They exchange gifts and stuff for the holiday as well. The season of giving is what they like to call it."
no subject
It takes a second for Dead End to pull himself out from the negative broody thoughts and actually pay attention to the Autobot
threateningtalking to him.Decorating trees and homes, and exchanging gifts. He didn't hear a why in there though.
"What for? How does decorating trees connect with giving gifts?"
no subject
He made a face as he mulled that over before shaking his head some. There had to be some other reason for it. Even if a lot of the humans he'd seen were kind of mean.
"One of the humans around here would probably know better than me though, Lightbright."
no subject
"I'm not going to be asking any of them."
He's spoken to a good chunk of them already, and there's no reason to be doing any more of it. He doesn't know how to deal with most of them.
no subject
"Whatever. That's your call, lightbright," he mused a bit before his expression shifted into something thoughtful. The rookie was quiet for a long moment before he glanced up at Dead End, shifting his wait from one foot to the other as his doorwings sank.
Just a little though.
"...Sorry..by the way. For being an aft to you."
