WHO: Kagerou + YOU.
WHERE: All over the medbay, possibly outside of it.
WHEN Shortly after his AI is transferred to the small body.
WHAT: While his engine is replaced and upgraded, Kagerou's AI has been placed into a small vessel. A tiny version of his own body. And starts to wander.
WARNINGS: None!
NOTE: Totally open. Feel free to find the little guy wandering anywhere in the vicinity of the medbay.


[He does not need help.]

[He knows exactly where he is, thank you very much. He's in the medbay. Where he'd wanted to stay during the entire procedure. But, beyond that, he truly has no idea where he is or how he got here. Everything looks different, from down here.]

[Down here... where instead of humans coming up to his ankle, it's the other way around. Now he's the one who has to crane his neck to look up at his surroundings. If he hadn't been so concerned about his AI staying intact, he would have stayed in his normal frame, not allowed himself to be placed into this small one. It's annoying. And if he hadn't fallen off the table he'd been curled on, he would have stayed put.]

[But no, he had to get down.]

[He had to go wandering.]

[He pauses, tiny wings fluttering. He's sure he's passed this place before, but at his current size, it's difficult to tell. Yes, he could call for assistance... and he nearly does, before scowling.]

[Nope. He has this covered. He'll show them he can manage alone. That he can get back to the table and... other things... on his own.]

[The little ninja bot continues making his way in blind circles throughout the building, tiny jaw set in a stubborn line.]

[Drill Boy had been poking around to find all the important things to know, and had heard there was something called a Medbay here. He didn't know quite what that was but figured he would learn once he found it. When he arrived he saw a tiny little robot wandering around. Funnily enough he reminded Drill Boy of the mini Brave body he had been stuck in a little while ago, and looked a little like Shadowmaru.

He crouched down where he shouldn't be too startling and smiled.]

Hi there!

[Regardless, he's startled. Maybe he's just more on edge, being smaller, than he would be otherwise. The tiny body jumps about six inches in the air, wings buzzing.]

[Oh.]

[Oh he knows... that face.]

... hello.

Oh, sorry... Didn't mean to startle you.

[He remembers how difficult being that size was for him, but if this robot had always been that size he doesn't want to be rude by pointing that out.

Then he realizes he recognizes the voice.]

Ah, are you Kagerou?

[thxforthememories]

[He folds his arms. Yes, it looks petulant. No, he doesn't particularly care. He's tiny, and this is embarrassing.]

[Only to take a half-step back when his name comes up.]

Yes. I am Kagerou.

[Drill Boy just smiles.]

It's nice to see you in person~!

[He makes a face -- excuse his crankiness, Drill Boy. He's having difficulty with this little body.]

This isn't how I really am.

[drillsandballs]

[Drill Boy understands that, he has actually been right in that situation himself.]

It isn't? How are you normally?

[He shrugs, and folds his arms. When he does answer, it's a little surly.]

Taller.

[drillsandballs]

Taller like me?

[As he asks he points to himself with one hand and holds his other out, in case Kagerou wants a lift up, since being so small seemed to be getting to him.]

... Like that, yes.

[Except taller, but there's no way of knowing that, really, from his current vantage point.]

[He looks down at the hand, a little suspicious, a little uncertain. He edges forward, putting a hand on one of the proffered fingers. And patting it.]

[drillsandballs]

Heh, I promise, I won't drop you. I had to be that small recently and I remember how hard it was to find anything from down there. I can give you a more normal view point if you want.

[He doesn't move the hand. For all that he tended to be loud and active he could be very patient if it was something he considered worth it.]

[He hesitates again. Really, he would love to go back to his room, curl himself up beside... ]

[He squares his tiny shoulders. And clambers up onto the offered hand. Getting back to the only thing he has of his other half is more important than his own uncertainty.]

All right. Let's go.

[drillsandballs]

[Drill Boy's smile brightens, he remembers how uncertain anything was at that size and so it's a lot of trust to get into someone's hand, and he realizes it. He slowly lifts the hand with the tiny brave in it up, bringing his other in front, curled, as a stop to prevent him from falling, but low enough that he could see over it.]

Do you know the way from here?

[He finally had the tiny brave up, held in front of his soccer ball.]

[While he mostly realizes the purpose of the hands being there, it's suddenly difficult not to feel trapped. His little wings flutter, as if trying to take off. But he nods, and points.]

That way.

[Everything does look more familiar from this angle, at least.]

[He notices the little bit of discomfort and shifts the hand a bit away, keeping it out in front of him even as he starts in the direction he was pointed.]

Okay, tell me if you need me to slow down or anything.

No. It's fine.

[He just keeps pointing in the direction they need to go, until they reach the room he was in, originally.]

[The room which likely has his original body in it. Plus the tiny one of Shadowmaru. Which has all of his attention, now.]

[drillsandballs]

[Drill Boy dutifully carried him to the room that was indicated. While the original body was an odd sight in some ways it didn't bother him at all, after all he had the Super A.I. that belonged in that body in his hand.]

I see, you are even taller than me. Oh, is that Shadowmaru's mini brave? Are you a friend of his?

Am I?

[He glances up at Drill Boy, briefly, before his attention returns to the table. And the little body. If he could fly like this, he'd be there with it, already.]

[Creepy much, Ninjabot?]

It is. [He hesitates.] ... We're something like that.

[drillsandballs]

Looks like it.

[Drill Boy makes sure to set the little Brave down beside the other body. It was a little odd seeing it there, almost like a doll, when it could have Shadowmaru's Super A.I. chip in it, but he shook off the feeling.]

That's nice, I'm glad Shadowmaru has other friends then just those of us at the station.

[The fact he crawls up next to it, leans on it. Grips its hand as if there were really someone in the body... probably doesn't help the weird feeling.]

[He looks away though, over at a wall.]

... He did once, yes.

Once we get this worked out and are all together again he still will.

[He had already convinced himself that this was fact and could not be changed or avoided.]

[He grips the limp little hand tighter, at that. He'd like it if he could believe it. If it were a fact...]

[But he just doesn't know.]

I hope that will be true.

I'm sure it will.

[He smiles brightly, not giving any room for disbelief.]
