[That would be Kagerou's reaction to the creature. Even as he kneels down to offer it his hands.]

He sure reacts like one, gettign all excitement and almost jumping on Kagerou's arms.]

[But that won't stop him from reaching out and lavishing attention on the creature.]

Yiiiipp...pppp. [There, he got quiet. Let's see how long it last. Frank waves his tail, happy with the attention.

He tilts his head. WHY NO SOUNDS, SOUND IS FUN D:]

[And when the creature quiets, he just lavishes more attention on it. It's a reward, see? You quiet down, you get ear rubs.]

[Yes, he can definitely get behind that. But you looked sad, he wanted to know why.] yiii?

[Pettings are nice but he's hungry and he can't reach the cubes of the table. He looks on that direction and then back up at Kagerou.] Yiiiiiiip. [Puppy eyes, get.]

[Oh yeah. He sees what's happening here.]

[He holds out a hand, to emphasize the point, before moving to collect one of the cubes for the creature. If Frank stayed put... he'll get a treat.]

[That's why he likes you, because you give him pettings and food are smart.

He waits, his many tails wagging like crazy in the prospect of food.]

[It's a small one. But, true to his word, he does bring back a little cube.]

YIIIIIIIIIIP! [He didn't mean to be so loud but FOOOOOOOD. Frank jumps excitedly around Kagerou, licks his face and then moves to devour the cube.]

[All that noise, though, caught certain blue bot attention.] Ihopeitsnothighgrade....

[His head jerks back, surprised, before he shakes it, and keeps on playing with the creature's ears.]

[He doesn't look up at Blurr's voice, though his wings flick a little.]

It's not. I wouldn't give him that.

Sorry, I did _{not mean} to scare you. [Blurr gives him an apologetic look.]

Thanks. You don't want to see him when he's excited, trust me on that.

[He runs his fingers under the creature's chin.]

I know. They're hard to handle when they become too excited...

[Frank quickly finished the cube and he always welcomes more pettings and attention.]

They? You had a pet too? You never told me.

... Just very much like his animal mode, sometimes.

Ah, an animal alt mode, like you turn into a giant bird. Interesting choices. Did he like being petted too? [Blurry smiled, clearly joking.]

[Frank yips and tries to lick Kagerou's hand. Meanwhile, Blurr's smile soften.]

Do you miss him a lot, don't you? You _{are always} talking about a friend but you never told me his name.

[He'd thought it was pretty obvious, himself. He holds his hand back though, giving the canine a look.]

I... [There's a flicker of something very painful in his face, before he smooths his expression.] Yes. I do. He... was the only one back there who ever cared about me at all.

[Blurr's eye get brighter for a second before he lowers his gaze.]

I don't want to make you remember painful memories but I want you to know that it's not the case anymore. A lot of people care for you here. I do.

[He looks back down, and goes back to absently rubbing the creature's ears. It's weirdly comforting to him.]

Remembering him... it's not what hurts. [It's then remembering he's alone here.] I know. I know there are friends here... but it's different.
