The more he looked, the more he discovered, the clearer it was that Magnus was nowhere to be found. That Saber was gone and that his room was empty again because his roommate went missing too. Blurr got as close to the badlands as he could looking for them but he came back to the Haven alone each time.

He wanted to explore further but due to all the recent events he was always afraid of leaving for too long. There was always some problem or another. Barricade told him that he had to reduce his stress levels and Blurr, for once, tried to listen. He worked at the bar almost each night now, trying to keep his mind occupied.

[At the bar - Middle of the night]

Drinks, drinks and more drinks. When Blurr was not mixing drink or cleaning, he was juggling cubes at a very high speed to increase his reflexes. He still needed some more practice mixing different grades of energon but at least nothing exploded anymore.

[Closing - late night]

Fun was over and it was time to restock the bar, clean and make sure that those who were too overcharged could find their way out. Blurr rubbed his helm, tired, and looked around. Then up. Then he frowned.

How that cube got stuck to the ceiling he had no idea but it was going to be a pain to get out. Even while standing on the counter and stretching his arms he was too short to reach it.

"Perhaps one day. A lot of strange things happen in this place." Strange didn't cover it. Blurr still liked living here, even fi ti was not his real homeplanet.

"Just a tiny it. But shhh don't worry I won't tell anybody." He winked at the bigger mech, smirking.

Skyfire didn't even try to hold back a laugh at that - and it wasn't just the high grade. It was nice to have some friendly teasing, for a change. He certainly needed more light-hearted moments like this.

"It's good to know my secret's safe," he chuckled.

Laughing is good for the health. Blurr thinks everyone should laugh more often, him included.

"Ex-Elite Guard agent here. Secrets are my thing." Blurr gave him a military salute. The smirk was still there.

"And that's... a branch of the military, right?" Skyfire asked. He did try to keep track of these things, honestly, but sometimes it was just too much.

"We don't have that in my world. Or, at least, we didn't in my time."

"Yes sir, the Cybertron Elite Guard is the pinnacle of the Autobot military force." If Blurr sounded proud it was because he was.

"Do you have at least some sort of Police?"

"We did before the war, at least," he confirmed. "But now... well. Cybertron is nearly empty, and those of us on Earth aren't enough to justify it. Prime tries to work alongside with human authorities, too."

"Ah, right. You are from one of those universe were the war causes Cybertron's downfall. ImsorryIdidnotknow." Blurr needs to realize that mostly only in his universe the war ended with the Autobots's victory.

"It's all right." He shook his head a little, with a tiny small. "In fact, it's good to be reminded that it didn't happen the same way everywhere. It could mean that we might still have a chance after all."

The blue mech relaxed marginally, nodding in agreement. "There's always place for peace, I believe. Some times it's just hard to find."

"I like to think so, too."

It was good to hear that from someone else. Most mechs he knew seemed to believe he was too optimistic for holding that opinion.

"This is a fresh start, in a way," he mused. "I wonder if we'll be able to make something better of it."

Blurr was not like most mech, he wasn't suited for battle and he rather solved conflict in a more quick and less violent way.

"We don't have all that many options. I don't really want another War and I doubt the FirstForget wants that either."

That was wonderful, as far as Skyfire was concerned. He certainly needed more friends who thought like that.

"I agree. I just hope it does work out that way."

That was exactly why Blurr enjoyed spending time with mechs like Skyfire e too.

"Me too. And tell me, how are you coping with this place?"

Maybe it was that he'd had a bit of high grade already, or maybe it was that he felt comfortable around Blurr. Or it might have been a little of both. But, in any case, for once Skyfire didn't immediately declare himself all right.

"It's been... difficult," he admitted. "It's the second time I find myself in a completely different context all of a sudden. And just when I was starting to get used to the first one, too."

He sighed, and then he shrugged.

"But it's not that bad. It's certainly better to suddenly appear in a world with no war than in one with a war you know nothing about."

Blurr might talk a lot but he's good at listening too. One of the reasons why he decided to work at the bar too was to get to know other people better and specially what worried them.

"I know another mech that like you ad to go through this more than once. I'm sorry I can only imagine how hard and confusing that can be. You can talk to me anytime you want if _{you need} someone to listen."

Blurr reached out to give Skyfire's arm a brief squeeze, trying to be comforting. "And yes, that sure in an improvement."

Skyfire couldn't hold back a small smile when he heard that.

"You really wouldn't mind?" he asked. "Because... well, I'd like that, really. It'd be nice to have someone to talk to."

Blurr's one was sincere one too.

"No, not at all. And you don't have to come to the bar for that either, give me a call if you want to talk or go out to do something."

"Then I definitely will." It was so easy to make him happy, sometimes. Not that Skyfire would complain about that.

"Thank you. It means a lot."

This sort of things make Blurr happy to. He enjoys having friends here because he barely had any in his world.

"Don't mention it. What temple you live in?"

"Alpha Trion's. I... don't get out much, really," Skyfire admitted. Other than working in Jetfire's laboratory, he didn't have much of a social life.

The fact the he considered work part of a 'social life' was telling in and of itself, really.

"It's the opposite with me, most of the time ^{I'm patrolling}, in the Police Force's _Headquarters or here. But I like to visit Rung and Alpha Trion's library."

Jetfire are you Blurr? "We could hang out."

It's almost childlike, how he lights up like that. He doesn't even bother trying to be a little dignified.

"We could!" he replied. "I'd really like that. And I should go to the library more often, anyway."

Awkward penguin robots who manage to befriend each other is a good reason to smile. Who cares about dignity? Blurr is bad at interacting with people himself and this makes him happy.

"Yes, one day we could go for a ride...er...oh..well you know." Oh right, Jetfire's a flier.

Skyfire couldn't hold back a chuckle at that.

"I don't think that's going to work," he laughed. "But we can always find something else to do."

"You never_{know, I might} find a way to FLY one day." Blurr smiles back, knowing that it's impossible. "We could always go tot eh library together."
