WHO: Blurr and whoever
WHERE: The bar
WHEN: Afternoon - night.
WHAT: There's different options, check below c:
WARNINGS: None!
The more he looked, the more he discovered, the clearer it was that Magnus was nowhere to be found. That Saber was gone and that his room was empty again because his roommate went missing too. Blurr got as close to the badlands as he could looking for them but he came back to the Haven alone each time.
He wanted to explore further but due to all the recent events he was always afraid of leaving for too long. There was always some problem or another. Barricade told him that he had to reduce his stress levels and Blurr, for once, tried to listen. He worked at the bar almost each night now, trying to keep his mind occupied.
[At the bar - Middle of the night]
Drinks, drinks and more drinks. When Blurr was not mixing drink or cleaning, he was juggling cubes at a very high speed to increase his reflexes. He still needed some more practice mixing different grades of energon but at least nothing exploded anymore.
[Closing - late night]
Fun was over and it was time to restock the bar, clean and make sure that those who were too overcharged could find their way out. Blurr rubbed his helm, tired, and looked around. Then up. Then he frowned.
How that cube got stuck to the ceiling he had no idea but it was going to be a pain to get out. Even while standing on the counter and stretching his arms he was too short to reach it.

Right now he didn't mind the other bot but he wasn't trying to befriend him anymore because he got the hint that he was unwanted. Pity, he wished to know more about Rung's other half.
"A..am I?" Blurr stared at the cubes he hold in each hand, wondering what was he doing wrong this time. "But they have a similar color spectrum, they should mix well."
no subject
This wasn't just about matching colours, it was about taste and just how things were mixed. The methods, the motions. Making drinks was a very specific process, or at the very least making them perfectly - to Dead End - was a specific process.
"You can't just go by colour." Too much of a chance in that, with no guarantee that it'll come out tasting great.

He wasn't so certain at the end, mostly because the way Dead End was explaining himself, as if Blurr just did something terrible. Getting a lecture from a Decepticon was more than a bit weird.
no subject
"Won't be the best either... Don't know why you want to be a bartender when you have another job."
Just. Voicing some concerns.
no subject
"I do have a job, yes. More like four, I take care of the Habitation Wing and the Pantry too now that Saber is gone. But when I first started doing this it was because I needed a break from the Police Force, I needed to be in a place where the only worry was if we ran out of clean cubes. It was only a 'few nights' thing. But then Soundwave disappeared and Wing was nowhere to be found."
Blurr would totally allow Dead End to took care of the bar if he trusted him. Alas, he didn't trust him. He couldn't even if he tried.
no subject
"Four?" The more Blurr keeps talking, the less he's liking it.
"It'll never be perfect then... Sub-par at best."
no subject
"You never know. I might have a natural talent for this that has yet to be discovered."
no subject
It's not that he's purposefully trying to be mean, even if he doesn't like Blurr - it's the cop thing - it's just that he honestly doesn't see Blurr getting any better when he has other jobs. Other things to be working on or thinking about. It's too much.
"If you aren't focused on this then nothing is going to happen."
Nothing good.
no subject
"I told you, I can multitask. Back home I had two jobs too. I was a member of the police force AND the Autobot Intel gathering body, and I was very good at it."
He puts the drinks down and rubs his helm, realizing that he was being too defensive. It's a thing that happens to him sometimes. He tries to sound more polite than demanding the next time he talks. "What about if you give me a few tips?"
no subject
"N-no! It's not that, I don't... No. Sorry."
He'd just gotten the job, he can't loose it just yet - not that he'll have a choice when it happens, but he does like making drinks, it's something he's not horrible at. Something people actually remember about him.
"This isn't the same thing. Those jobs are a lot different than mixing drinks, and you don't need tips. You need an entire course."
no subject
"No is not the same thing but I'm quite sure that mixing drinks can't be harder than spying on Decepticons without them noticing. If I screw up a drink the worse thing that can happen is that it tastes horrible, not that it tries to murder me. Acourseisfine. When do we start?"
no subject
"That depends on who the drink is for." You could very easily get death threats or attempts for messing up the wrong bot's drink. Considering how some bots here were, chances were that I was possible.
The Stunticon opens his moth to say something else when Blurr speaks.
Wait.
What?
"I wasn't saying-" he hadn't meant that he'd...
"You'd have to not have your other jobs..."
no subject
Sorry pal, you walked into this one.
"I told you, those are just temporary, I'm already working on having everything reorganized." Blurr smiles at him, looking oh so hopeful. Probably smiling more than he should to confuse the other both. "We could start today."
no subject
Dead End shakes his head, no Blurr he doesn't like you enough to want to train you. To have to spend that much time with him.
"And your job on the police force?"
no subject
"I have daylight shifts, you could teach me at night or during my day off." Because resting and sleeping is for losers.
no subject
"It doesn't work that way," he shuffles a bit awkwardly. "You don't have time for it."
How many times does he need to mention that Blurr has another job. That he can't focus on drinks if he has another job. Because it doesn't seem to be getting through to the Autobot.
no subject
Safety reasons.
"If there was some chaos going on and you were working, you'd leave right? Go off and do police force stuff."
Because if the answer is yes, he think he's made his point.
Woops double reply. I realized that Blurr in fact doesn't know about him and Rung, sorry
How many times does he need to mention to dead end that most of those jobs are temporary? And that he had TWO back in his world? Stop being difficult.
no subject
Time or not, there was no way Blur would ever be any good
everwhen he wasn't completely focused on drinks. It didn't work that way.And he's going to keep being difficult for those reasons.
no subject
Always so positive Dead End, you sure area ray of sunshine into everyone's life.
!Now if you EXCUSE ME I will try to practice some more. ALONE."
