mysterious post-Invasion illness
who: Korra, Gunmax (other Brave Police can join), Ratchet (and any other medically trained fellows who are even just curious)
what: doctor's appointment
when: After this thread http://re-alignment.dreamwidth.org/16556.html. After Invasion.
where: med bay, Solus Prime's temple
warnings: Uh, backtagged?
Korra was dreaming again. Another delusion. Fire, earth, water--fighting fighting fighting, then a bright light....
The girl stirs in her sleep, feeling as if she were in a cold dark cage.

"Give me a moment."
He's gone for barely three heartbeats, and returns with a bottle of water -- still sealed and quite clean. He hands it to her with a delicacy born of him never being sure of how much human frames can take.
"Here."

Then she places it back on her side of the bed that's not quite occupied, and begins to try bending it. The water actually moves, trying to crawl up, making the bottle vibrate--but soon it drops back down.
But still Korra gives a tired grin. "I got it to move, at least. Gettin' better, finally."

"I'm sure with a little more rest and some, ah, food, you'll be back to whipping it around in no time."

"Thanks, Ratch. Ratchet." She shook her head, trying to clear it more.
"Yeah, that'll do the trick," Korra said, leaning back, closing her eyes for a moment. Then she opened them again. "But I think all my food's at Megatronus' temple."

Ratchet presses gently on her shoulder, just a nudge really, trying to get her to lie back down so that he can tuck her blankets around her again.
"If we can't find it, I've got a stockpile of some food here. At least, I do if you don't mind beans?"
He hopes that she doesn't, because if she does... then he'll have to send someone to the junkpile for more. Or call Swindle. And he hates calling Swindle.

Korra wrapped a hand around her water bottle, and placed on the floor beside her bed, within easy reach, but less likely to get knocked off.
"But isn't that food for Raf?"

"There's enough to last for a while, and there's always more falling from the Lambda. Certainly a meal or two for you won't leave anyone hungry. Plus, Raf is working on that garden project of his. It should be able to bolster our supplies a bit when it's working."
