WHAT: A certain fuzzy feline is getting the lay of the land from a much shorter perspective.

Skids - or the thing that had been Skids - had been chasing him around the Junk Pile until something happened that Barricade just couldn't sort out. Not for a while, anyway, until he was able to get a look at himself. Not human, so...

Wait. Fur? Oh scrap.


[The Junk Pile]
First things first is finding some kind of food, and that means sticking around the Junk Pile for a while. So a little black and white cat might be visible, hopping and skittering gingerly along debris, occasionally tripping and yowling in protest. These legs don't work like any he's used to and there's too many of them and he can't get his tail to hold still to counterbalance. Why are there so many limbs.


[Solus's Quadrant]
Eventually he manages to dig out food that isn't in a can and figures out how to eat it. He even tumbles his way ungracefully out of the Junk Pile in his own FirstForged's quadrant. Good enough for him! He trots along through the area, carefully avoiding the hotter spots until he finds the crystal forest on the border. And then... for no reason he can sort out, up one of the trees he goes. Without any idea of how to get out of it.


[Alpha Trion's Quadrant]
One way or another, he extracts himself and continues on, finally having gotten the hang of his limbs and his ears. At least his senses aren't quite so diminished as when Barricade has been human; there was something comfortable about that. Still, even he gets thirsty, and the easiest place to find water is the lake. Once he gets across the quadrants to the lake, he crouches down and dabs a paw into the water cautiously, jerking it out and shaking it with a meow. Okay, that's not so awesome. Maybe there's some easier way to do it...

Stasis? Couldn't imagine being stuck in stasis. Seems a touch awful. [From everything he's heard, anyway.]

Sorry. Promise if I find myself in need, I'll come find you. As for clothes... well. Suppose you could wear a sarong and go bare-chested, if it's that much of an issue. They're just excessively modest about their bodies. [Then again, he's embarrassed of being seen unarmored too.]

It is and I don't really like it but someone frorm Tarn world, I think it was Ambulon or Magnus, told me that he can use his voice as a weapon. The idea of a stasis pod came to me when we were trying to stop Prism, actually. You remember him, right?

[Anything that has to do with being locked is a 'NO' from Blurr, but now he thinks that might be the only way to stop certain people and keep others safe. Their last resort.]

Don't worry. I'm glad to hear that. I owe you one. Ah? A sharon?

I do. I don't know that would stop even Prism, though. He's a tough fellow. And turning off someone's vocal capacity is an easier way of dealing with sonic weapons than trapping them in stasis.

[Or he does things the Decepticon way, where it is easier to rip someone's vocals out.]

A sarong. Sort of a traditional wrapped skirt.

A simpler and less dangerous solution is always better but I don't really know how Tarn's ability works or _{if we would be able to turn off his vocal capacities before} he makes someone explore. He was involved with Frenzy and Four, we still need to figure out what happened and that's why, for now, he's still free to do as he pleases.

[The Decepticon way never an an option.]

It's the first time I hear of that one. Skirts are comfy, though. Why was you here, all alone?

There's always an easy way to deal with vocals, even if Autobots don't approve of it... What happened with Frenzy and Four? This is the first I've heard.

Getting water. I got thirsty and I didn't want to impose on someone else.

[raceme]

I can imagine which one are you talking about. [And the answer is NO.] Four disappeared for a few days, it turns ^{out that either Frenzy or Tarn locked him up and then killed} him. Frenzy actually admitted to Rung that he murdered Four but we are investigating the issue.

This sort of thing is never a bother, Barricade. [Now that you are done drinking, he's going to run his hands over his trousers to dry it and then scratch Barricade's head. He's not sure why he does it, it just feels right.]

Well that was stupid of Frenzy. I oughta swat that idiot for doing that. Of course I don't expect him to know better. [He'd been more firm with his own Frenzy.]

[Barricade pauses, leaning up into Blurr's hand with a purr.] Mm, that's nice. Keep doing that.

[raceme]

He's not particularly smart sometimes. [Or ever.] Such a loose cannon. [Kick him hard from Blurr.]

Heh. You like it? [He's not going to stop then.] Franks does too.

Well, maybe someone can get him sorted out. Wouldn't be the first time I've straightened out a Frenzy. [And this time he'd benefit from not being bound to him, too. Much more leeway.]

Of course I do. [Purr purr purr.] Most animals like it.

[raceme]

How come? You had to deal with a problematic casetticon before? [All the fun of being free.]

Most animals aren't this small. I can hold you. [And put you in his lap so eh can scratch your belly.]

Not a casetticon, but the Frenzy from my world was... a handful. [Which he means in the warmest way possible.]

You'd be surp-prrrrrrrr... [Ooh, belly scratches are wonderful. He wiggles a bit and then leans his head back.]

Maybe being a handful is something that comes with being named Frenzy. [Like all the bad things that come with being named Starscream.] What was his alt mode?

[Who doesn't like a belly rub? Blurr enjoys the purring soudn for some reason. Scratch, scratch, scratch~]

Heh. Maybe it is. I haven't met anyone else named Frenzy until now. [He pauses.] A stereo. But he could change his configuration at will, if he needed to.

[Best bellyrub. And so much purring for Blurr. Even some wiggling because oh gosh this is great.]

[raceme]

I don't think this planet is ready for more than one. That's an unusual ability.

[And it reminds him of Shockwave. Blurr hands pauses for a few seconds. It starts moving again as eh hears the purring.]

He was an unusual bot. He had a dispersed spark; could survive any amount of critical damage.

[Not that it made it easier to cope with Frenzy being injured. Barricade's ears flick when he notices Blurr pausing, and he lets out a questioning 'mrrt?']

I've never heard of dispersed sparks before. I bet it comes in handy but it sounds a bit painful too.

[He pauses again for another moment.] I...was thinking of someone. From my world. It's nothing.

It was very handy. Though I'm pretty sure the only painful part was being occasionally dismembered.

[Barricade tilts his head.] Obviously they troubled you, though.

[raceme]

That sounds as bad as getting crushed. [And he knows how bad that can be.]

Someone I knew back in my world could change his looks and hide his true form. For a long time I thought he was a loyal friend and a fair boss. I was wrong.

He was still able to survive, though. Even as a head he was able to soldier on. [If Barricade sounds proud, it's because he is.]

Huh. Spies in the midst of Autobots and mechs that can fully change their base mode. Now that is a new one for me. [Fascinating.]

[raceme]

All mechs in my universe can survive as a head only too but we don't have dispersed sparks. [TFA universe: a new meaning of the word 'special'.]

You got it in one. He was the one who crushed me too.

Huh. In my dimension decapitation is a sure-fire way of removing a mech... barring extenuating circumstances. My Optimus is well-known for the tactic. [And Barricade hates him for it.]

Crushed you? How rude. Sure he paid for it.

In mine is a bit more complicated than that. [Tfa bots are tough like that, fuck yeah.] O..Optimus!? That was really unexpected.

Cheetor told me that Shockwave and the rest of the Decepticons were arrested but I don't know more than that.

Mm-hm. Optimus Prime. I'm certain that yours was slightly kinder in combat... but we're monsters in my dimension.

They'll probably go to trial for their war crimes, then. You'll be repaid. [Barricade wiggles to rub his back against Blurr's leg.]

My Optimus, as you say, wasn't really the one in charge in my world. That was Ultra Magnus. And the war ended ages ago it was really different for us. I only saw Optimus fight briefly. I discovered that Megatron was alive and there was a traitor among our ranks, that's what got me crushed.

I can only hopes so. [That makes him smile. And after a few seconds he also laugh.] T-that tickles.

Oh strange, t'think of an Optimus that wasn't in command of the Autobots. Though I suppose he has to start somewhere.

[Barricade splays his whiskers forward, flicking his tail.] Oh does it now? [Wiggle wiggle wiggle =^_^=]
