WHO: Vector Prime and YOU!
WHERE: Solus Prime's medbay!
WHEN During the week; timing can be flexed.
WHAT: COME VISIT VECTOR IN THE MEDBAY. He is an unhappy (not-so-)little spacejet recovering from his fight against Ramjet!
Somewhere between indignant and chagrined regarding his loss against Ramjet, Vector Prime had not taken the enforced rest lightly. True, he had been in no condition to move until lately, but ever since the initial pull out of consciousness to ensure that his processor was, in fact, fully functional...
Perhaps if it wasn't, he wouldn't have to bear the disapproval of his kin so harshly. It had been made clear to him - rightly so - that by going against Prima's decree to wait, he had made a grave error. Made clear in more ways than one, but...!
But nothing.
He took to Solus' continued ministrations under mute protest, impatient to return to his duty and to at least try to regain some standing among his peers. As well as among the other residents of the Haven. But until now, he was all but confined to this medbay, and he itched for some room to spread his wings. Metaphorically or not.
Perhaps this, too, was a form of penance for his error, but it was hardly a useful one.

It piqued his interest, at least. Some of the confusion faded, replaced with...curiosity.
"Then I look forwards to reading it. It is a pleasure to learn of the worlds you come from."
That was clearly honest, or Vector's a damned good liar.

"And it is my pleasure to add such a celebrated work to your collection." That sounded just as honest as Vector's earlier statement.
"Now, I have a question for you."

Well, one supposes it's the least Vector could do in return...he tilts his head, slightly.
"Ask it, then."

Vector, this is starting to look like it might be an involved question...
"I'll play us some music while we talk," Tarn says amiably as something drifts out of his speakers. "Let me know if it makes you uncomfortable; I'll stop."
Wow, that's really decent of him, and very nice of the little guy, isn't it? The alternative is a little less nice, but it's so hard to tell... And anyway, now he's asking his question, tone still just as affable.
"What exactly are you and the rest of your 'First Forged' trying to accomplish on this planet?" Because Tarn knows quite a bit about the phases a planet goes through before it's made hospitable. And he also knows about what happens to the leftover native species that are resilient enough to be useful.

"We seek to prepare Cybertron for Primus' arrival," he answers openly enough. "Most tasks are a matter of cementing its place in the cosmos, in terraforming its surface - as of late, however, it is more focused on ridding it of its current...infestation."

He doesn't bring up how the First Forged's current inability to nip the problem of the 'infestation' in the bud is just one more buoyant proof of how imperfect they are. And when it comes to organisations in power, Tarn's favourite are the fallible kind.
"And what happens when your 'Primus' does show up?" Namely, what happens to the rest of them?

By the thin smile he has near the end...there may be a hint which he finds more appealing.
