WHO: Vector Prime and YOU!
WHERE: Solus Prime's medbay!
WHEN During the week; timing can be flexed.
WHAT: COME VISIT VECTOR IN THE MEDBAY. He is an unhappy (not-so-)little spacejet recovering from his fight against Ramjet!
Somewhere between indignant and chagrined regarding his loss against Ramjet, Vector Prime had not taken the enforced rest lightly. True, he had been in no condition to move until lately, but ever since the initial pull out of consciousness to ensure that his processor was, in fact, fully functional...
Perhaps if it wasn't, he wouldn't have to bear the disapproval of his kin so harshly. It had been made clear to him - rightly so - that by going against Prima's decree to wait, he had made a grave error. Made clear in more ways than one, but...!
But nothing.
He took to Solus' continued ministrations under mute protest, impatient to return to his duty and to at least try to regain some standing among his peers. As well as among the other residents of the Haven. But until now, he was all but confined to this medbay, and he itched for some room to spread his wings. Metaphorically or not.
Perhaps this, too, was a form of penance for his error, but it was hardly a useful one.

"Yes sir." Wing smiles, striding forward a bit with an easy, measured gait; pinions held slightly aloft in pleased greeting. "I'm happy to see you hale of body...if, perhaps not in spirit."
Yes Vector, he can read that body language better than most.

Let him keep his dignity, won't you? Even if he's well aware that it doesn't...quite...well.
"Bruised, perhaps," he admits after a moment, waving a hand dismissively. "But- no matter. Time mends many things, and my pride will be one of those, once I regain my standing."

"I will confess to having been in a similar situation." He makes a rueful gesture, ending with a tap to his chestplate. "But the events that humble us also drive us to do better, be stronger, wiser. I've no doubt you will regain that standing and more in no time."
"In the meantime, allow me to entertain you?"

"I promised you more stories, once upon a time." His optics flicker as he grins. "If you're so inclined?"
"But before I begin," he pauses, "I feel I should first thank you, or one of your brethren, for returning Drift to us." He's not sure exactly where to direct such thanks, but he obviously feels it's paramount to express it and this is the best place to begin.

"...not one," he says after a few moments. "It is...too great a task to accomplish alone. But no thanks is necessary; it was the least that could be done."

"Perhaps, but it is still more than we'd ever be capable of. My gratitude is boundless, so I am happy to have a direction for it." He could thank any of the Firstforged, but he'd rather it be here and the warmth in his face says as much.
"So, should I take that reaction as a yes?" Wing asks as he looks around in search of a good perch; this will be a lot easier at something closer to eye level. "Any mood or theme in particular you're feeling? Drama, adventure, humor? I think I know almost as many inspiring anecdotes as I do silly love stories."
