Who: Drift and hopefully others
What: After the latest wave of mysterious disappearances, it's time to start throwing in theories.
Where: Near where the Rec Center is, which is as close to neutral territory as Drift can figure.
When: After Ultra Magnus's pep talk.
Warnings: none?

Drift does one last sweep of the area. Not that he's expecting to find much in the way of danger. It was mostly nervous energy. He's not a leader. He knows he's not a leader. That was Rodimus's role. Or Optimus Prime's. Not his. The last time he was a leader, he was Deadlock and his leadership skills....were pretty questionable. And violent.

But they need to talk, and the Link is not a safe place. Hopefully, this is. They need to find out about this Unicron, how this Calling happens, what they can do to prevent it...if anything.

He's lit a small bonfire in the center of the place, figuring at least it'll be a site for mourning. In all their haste, they haven't really done that as a community.

"That means, though, that it's not random. That we're all here, even Prism, or Overlord, for a reason. And I don't want to believe they have knowledge we can use but...," But he'd felt that way as a Decepticon felt about Autobots.

He nods. "This is why we were looking for the Knights. Perhaps they knew the missing pieces of our story."

That notion deepens his unease and he shakes his helm. "No, I...can't imagine that either. But that doesn't automatically make it untrue. Perhaps...they're a by-product of Unicron's influence? Like, calling to like?"

He nods. "I know it's one of the reasons Dai Atlas was looking for them as well. I...rather wish he was here, now." As much as Wing had grown distant from the Circle's leader he still respected him as such, and his knowledge and experience was still far outshone Wing's own.

"But if that's the case, then Unicron has more power than the First Forged have led us to believe." Not that they'd lied, but they'd once again not been entirely forthcoming.

"If they expect us to fight for them, they owe us the truth."

He frowns. Dai Atlas had hardly been friendly to him, but now, looking back, he understood where Dai Atlas was coming from. When you have something worth protecting, those who depend on you for their safety, it's all too easy to just want to push everything away.

"He'd at least get the First Forged to give us straight answers." It's meant as a joke: Dai Atlas had certainly gotten his attention.

"He might at that. It's a dismaying thought." Wing ex-vents a sighs. "I understand them downplaying things for the general populace, but you're right, if we're going to pledge to fight then we deserve the whole story."

And Wing is making plans now to obtain just that.

The image of Dai Atlas in chambers with the Firstforged using his 'persuasive' voice gets a soft laugh from Wing. "He does have very special abilities for debate and persuasion, doesn't he? It would be a thing to see for certain."
