In which we discover Decepticons don't teach Robert's Rules of Order.
Who: Drift and hopefully others
What: After the latest wave of mysterious disappearances, it's time to start throwing in theories.
Where: Near where the Rec Center is, which is as close to neutral territory as Drift can figure.
When: After Ultra Magnus's pep talk.
Warnings: none?
Drift does one last sweep of the area. Not that he's expecting to find much in the way of danger. It was mostly nervous energy. He's not a leader. He knows he's not a leader. That was Rodimus's role. Or Optimus Prime's. Not his. The last time he was a leader, he was Deadlock and his leadership skills....were pretty questionable. And violent.
But they need to talk, and the Link is not a safe place. Hopefully, this is. They need to find out about this Unicron, how this Calling happens, what they can do to prevent it...if anything.
He's lit a small bonfire in the center of the place, figuring at least it'll be a site for mourning. In all their haste, they haven't really done that as a community.

"He seems pretty nice, Wreck-Gar. Talks a little strange but...," at least he's not Wheelie.
"I don't know what he wants. But Vector said it was Unicron, who was calling us out there. He has to do it for a reason." Yeah, Drift's got nothing, just a bunch of confusing theories.
"I don't think we are. I think if we all knew what was at stake," he sighs at the sparse attendance of the meeting, "if we all realized what mattered, we could pull together." That's what they were doing on the Lost Light, at any rate.

She leans over his head to look at him upside-down.
"In the meanwhile, I guess it's all those of us who think so can do to get ready and be prepared for whatever comes. Nobody can tell the future, of course but uh. Hmm."
A soft shake of her head. "Que Sera Sera."

"I just hope this isn't a waste of time. That we learn something from this."
no subject
She folds her arms over his head and rests her chin in them.
"I don't think it was a waste. You worry too much."
no subject
"I just...we have no one to trust but each other, here. We have to be able to share ideas. There has to be a better way."
no subject
"Exactly. I dunno what it'll take to get people to cooperate, but I imagine it would be something big... like. That."
no subject
"Then again we fought for millions of years. We just don't cooperate, I think."
no subject
"Well. Yeah. I can't imagine how stubborn some must be."
no subject
"I'm one of them. Stubborn. Otherwise I'd never have kept fighting." He shakes his head. "But you didn't come here to babysit me, Vandal."
no subject
"No, I came here out of curiosity, and because I like hanging around you."
no subject
He gives a smile. "Then I should try to be better company, shouldn't I? Have you fueled?"
no subject
"You're always good company, Drift," Vandal mutters quietly, "Not really, but I'm not terribly hungry."
no subject
"I don't always feel that way, but thank you." What else can he say? "Uh, well, you want to go for a walk or something?"
no subject
Now she is plenty comfortable right here.
"Sure! A walk sounds nice." Rather, the concept of being alone with him is nice.
