Chasing a lie I thought I believed in
WHO: Kay and whoever stumbles upon her.
WHERE: Junkpile
WHEN: Today
WHAT: Kay's exploring the Junkpile for some items. If you cross her path and talk to her she'll most likely find an item for you.
WARNINGS: She's a little grumpy after being embarrassed in front of Alpha Trion. Feel like cheering her up?
There's nothing worse than being made a fool in front of your idol. And Kay had learned that all too quickly. Cliffjumper had not only pranked her into thinking he'd been turned into a guitar (a guitar that was now gone, whether by Trion's correction or her own disposal), but some things, like your own competence shouldn't be called out on. At least that's how Kay saw it. But bottling yourself up in your room was getting old, so she took it outside, trekking all the way to the Junkpile to relieve some teenage-girl steam. Although this didn't keep her from her promise to Kagerou either. She sent a text to the robot saying she'd meet him there if he was well enough to go.
From pile to pile she leapt, searching for anything and everything. There wasn't much to find that didn't get scavenged earlier, but it provided a great distraction from everything. She sat crouched, examining what looked to be a whisk before tossing it to the side, scanning this pile once more.
"Stupid."
Whether she was talking about the whisk or something else was to be debated. She flipped her hair out of the way, giving a big sigh before hoisting herself to her feet.
Maybe the next pile would have something.

"And maybe something soft to sleep on, if you don't already have that?" She'd never thought about it, but beyond being difficult to get on or off on, the berths in the rooms in the temples were probably not the most comfortable - even if they had come with metal mesh coverings.
Wandering over to the pile the girl was currently on, Elita smiled slightly.
"Would you like a lift? I can cover more ground even when walking slow enough for us to look around."
no subject
Her eyes widen at the request, nodding slightly. That was a great mood lifter.
"You'd do that?"
no subject
"And while this won't be of much use to you," she paused to let the scrap of metal mesh fall to the ground, since it was too small to be useful to her as well. "I'm sure we could find some reasonably clean cloth or... whatever else you could use as bedding somewhere. Perhaps that should be priotity?"
Since while having somewhere else to sit on would probably liven up and be nice, having somewhere good to sleep was (or should) probably a better idea.

"Good idea. It gets cold on that ground..."
She'd gotten used to it, but that didn't mean that it was the ideal living situation. Her eyes watched the mesh cloth fall to the ground, looking around for anything that could be similar for humans.
no subject
"And something to get up on the berth, if you'd like to actually put your bedding there..." Elita shook her helm carefully, mindful of Kay on her arm. "It gets obvious how much Cybertron isn't made for you when it comes down to the practical bits..." Because she could easily see Kay (and the other humans) needing a bit more than they'd be able to carry unless they got something to pull along, even just "basic" things if they could find it...
"If we can find it, what else would you want?"
no subject
She loops her hand around the antennae thing on the joint, looking up at Elita as she thinks. Maximizing her space to the utmost usefulness was one of her goals, and getting out of bed fast and easy was a good start.
"Then again, I like high places..."
She can't help but take a minute to think on the question.
"Anything, really! Something that screams 'Kay', you know?"
no subject
"More clothes... Perhaps some large stretch of cloth to toss or hang up somewhere as decoration?" That suggestion is mostly due to the large scarf Kay's wearing; something large and flowing for decoration would be suitable, right?
"Maybe a small vehicle, whether we need to refit it or not. That would make it easier for you to get around as well."
no subject
As for the cloth? That sounded good too. Anything to make it feel roomier.
"Oooh! Yeah! Or, or maybe some lanterns or something. It gets dark in there."
A beat.
"Do you think we can get a jetpack?"
no subject
"Do you think you could carry this, or should I?" Kay should be able to rest it in her knee and brace it with her free hand, but otherwise Elita could do it as well, of course.
"And I suppose... if you want a jetpack, the easiest might actually be to ask one of the scientists or engineers around... I know we have a few Perceptors, maybe ask one of them?"
