All Around the Mul-Haven Bush! [Open]
WHO: Thundercracker and whoever decides to tag in.
WHERE: All over Haven.
WHEN Any time between the 10th and the 15th (basically, the span of the event)
WHAT: Thundercracker is attempting to learn to control his new teleporting ability. His efforts are taking him - according to him - "all over fragging creation!"
WARNINGS: Grumpy jet? Grumpy jet appearing unannounced in your washrack/shower? 8D;;;
NOTES: Feel free to have him appear wherever. Just be sure to specify the location. And don't forget to add your tag to the post! (Or if you can't, PM me and I'll do it. =3 )
Pit, how did Skywarp manage this!? He made it look so easy! He could teleport on a half-fragged thought and still hit his mark with perfection. Well . . . up to a certain distance, anyway. But even then, at least he managed to get where he was intending to go! And didn't just jump without even meaning too! This was RIDICULOUS!
But . . . ridiculous or not, Thundercracker needed to master this. And fast. Because teleporting when he hadn't meant to was inconvenient at best! Potentially dangerous at worst. Plus . . . he could certainly see the advantage of having the ability. That, of course, went without saying, intimately acquainted as he was with the advantage to which his wingmate used it. And so, Thundercracker had decided to devote time to learning to control this newfound power.
Unfortunately, it meant a lot of bouncing around to places he hadn't meant to go. Pit, half the time? He didn't even know where he was anymore!
He was getting awfully disoriented . . . And frustrated. Definitely frustrated.

He shook his head. "No. My name's Ginrai."
no subject
"Gin . . . rai . . . ?"
What the frag kind of name was that?
He shook his head in turn. The name didn't mean so much as...
"You look exactly like someone I know. Are you a leader here?"
no subject
"...Everybody says that. It's really kind of weird."
He shook his head. "Oh no. I've hardly been here any time at all."
no subject
"Optimus Prime is . . . distinctive." He frowned a bit, curious if nothing else. "I thought I saw a human. I didn't know you could transform with one inside...?" He was pretty sure an Autobot wouldn't tear up and squish an organic so carelessly, let alone do so within himself.

That . . . made the Seeker frown, not liking what that seemed to imply. So the human was the one speaking? Had he subjugated a Cybertronian somehow? Turned him into some kind of puppet?
He knew better than to assume. Best to ask. "What do you mean? Does the mech have no processor of his own? Or he's mute? Needs a human to speak for him?"
no subject
Can't tell from pictures - does Ginrai (well, the Transector) have an Autobrand? Or any other logo?
Not a Cybertronian of some kind then? Huh. Well . . . he wasn't sure if that made it "all right" but he'd leave that aspect alone for now.
Curiosity got the better of the Seeker. He approached a little, giving respectable berth as he circled, looking him - it? - over. "So . . . is it human-built, then? Or . . . ?"
Re: Yeah. He's got Autobot symbols on his shoulders
Okie. =3
That made Thundercracker stop in his tracks, shifting to meet the other's gaze - or anyway, he assumed the little squishy was seeing through his robot vehicle's optics.
"Broke up? What do you mean, broke up? And who are 'they'?"
Re: Okie. =3
Re: Okie. =3
'Cancer'? 'Headmaster'? Thundercracker shakes his head.
"You're right. The answers don't make sense. So how did you become an Autobot and get this . . . Transector?"
Re: Okie. =3
Ginrai went on to explain. "I needed to buy a new truck, because mine had broken down, and I took this one for a test run, because the owner was eager to get rid of it. And then I found these bracelets in the glove box and put them on. But then these Decepticon jets, Hydra and Buster, attacked it. Diver, one of the Autobots, tried to stop them, but they were too strong. But when the bracelets touched, the truck repaired itself and I got this armor than let me merge with it."
Ginrai looked a little proud. "And then I transformed and sent them running."

Still no dice recognizing designations, either Decepticon or Autobot, but he supposed maybe that shouldn't surprise him. He nodded at the last - much as he didn't like hearing about Decepticons being run off by a lone Autobot, considering who that Autobot was, or at least who the body seemed to be based on...
"If your body - the, ah, Transector body - is built anything like Optimus Prime's, I can see that. So . . . 'Ginrai' . . . is that your name, the human, or the mech's?"

"If it has no mind or spark of its own, I doubt it. I am Thundercracker."
no subject
"Pleased to meet you, Thundercracker. I'm glad here, we don't have to be enemies."

Thundercracker hesitated a moment, gazing at the hand. The idea of peace was almost alien to him, and he really didn’t know what to do with it. Especially when the one sticking his hand out looked exactly like that irritatingly altruistic fragger who’d been a bur in his joints for almost as long as he could remember. But . . . that wasn’t this person, and despite the brands on the body’s shoulders, the human driving the mindless mechanoid was not a part of their war, not really. And the war didn’t exist here.
Finally, he nodded and took the offered hand in a firm grip. “So it would seem. Take care of yourself, Ginrai.”
