WHO: Nexus Prime and *YOU*!
WHERE: Various places in Nexus' quadrant, and some places outside of it in the greater parts of Cybertron. Base setting below, feel free to have your character encounter Nexus - or a part of him - wherever!
WHEN: ~~Backdated to last week whups~~ Over a period of time. Say...a week?
WHAT: Nexus Prime can keep his attentions on a lot of things at once. And he doesn't mind putting some of it towards the Refugees.
WARNINGS: None?

It's easy to keep tabs on a lot of things at once, when you can be a lot of places at once. For some people, multitasking is a problem - they can only focus on one thing at once. For Nexus, a single task that requires all of his concentration is either monumental...or very, very interesting.

When he's not focusing on the monumental, such as seeding Cyberton with energon, slowly urging pools of it to gather, or crystal formations to form on terrain that is still unstable, still shifting, still possibly rough enough to destabilize the energon (luckily, he's more than able to control any violent reactions) - he can be found in his quadrant. Examining one of the small towers he has constructed, or some ore that's been uncovered. Walking along the rim of a crater, discussing some matter or another with one of his Acolytes, taking a progress report before sending them out on some duty.

Sure, he could probably do it, too. It wouldn't be difficult for him to split a piece off, reform it in to a functional form, and send himself off to do the task. Sometimes he does, and a smaller version of him that is still no less him - or more than one such - can be found trying to finish hefting some rock or another, working on some construction, performing some tweak or another...

But even he can't be everywhere at once. Nexus knows how to delegate, and he makes use of the tools he has at hand. Including something that could almost be cheating - because it's only so easy for him to concentrate on one thing at once, when the larger tasks are done...he may still be working on another, even if there's a literal part of him that is simply sitting by an energon pool and all but playing with shaping it.

Or practicing.

Miko was fortunate enough to come across one of the smaller pieces of Nexus, rather then the whole big guy for her first meeting with the First Forged she was aligned with. She had been checking out one of the areas that looked like it was still being built in the area when she saw him. He was different from the acolytes, and didn't look like any one of the refuges like herself.

Deciding the only way to get answers was to ask she found a spot where he should have no problem seeing her, a little bit higher than ground level.

"Hi there. Who are you?" She asked plainly, waving to help make sure he noticed her.

The missing Glyph may or may not have been a clue that he wasn't a standard Refugee - he was the source of a Glyph. And he was quick to turn away from the building and towards her voice, quickly locating the source.

"Hey, there." Human, it looked like - she, if he was any judge. "I'm Nexus Prime."

There's something to be said about someone who can introduce such a title so casually.

That is assuming Miko take the effort to look for any Glyphs, she has yet to learn that their presence or lack can be a big issue.

"Ohh Your Nexus Prime?! Nice to meet you. I'm Miko Nakadai, the acolyte guy said that I'm affiliated to you." She seems awed but hardly cowed by the idea of who exactly this is, grinning all the brighter in excitement. Her causal manner didn't seem forced in the least around him either.

"So... Whatcha building?"

"One of mine, eh?" Nexus' face splits in to an easy grin as he moves down, trying to get a better look at her. "Good to meet you too, Miko Nakadai. Figure we'll get along, if you've got that mark." She seemed cheerful enough, at least.

"Well, right now I'm trying to do some clean-up - this thing's falling apart," he says, jerking his thumb at a crumbling structure, "and I can use the parts for another one that's not so bad."

"So... you guys don't really pick us, do you? I mean if you did I would think with how few of us humans there are you'd recognize me without help. You guys are all pretty smart and have great memories I mean." That was a little interesting to her, but only in a passing way. If they picked which refugees they wanted with them or not didn't really bother her either way.

"Something is falling apart already? Even in a new place like this?" She looks at it a little bit, but not being any kind of builder she doesn't know what to look for on it. "Or was the design just not going to hold?"

Have a raised hand, and a tilting gesture with it. "Yes...and no. When you guys first come through, I figure that whatever's behind Marking you and getting you in here in the first place is also behind the initial link between you and us - and I dunno how the others do it, but my Acolyte is the one who gives me the updates on arrival. Can't always be there to greet you, myself."

Can't always be there to get a really good idea of who the person is

"It's falling apart because it was never finished." There's a brief look over his face, darkening his expression, but...it passes. "May as well finish something else, right?"

"Oh, I didn't know there was more to it then just the funky mark... what is this thing anyway? Is it a word or something? You sound like your busy a lot, makes sense you can't come say 'hi' to everyone!"

"Oh, something got in the way of finishing it?" She looks curious but won't press if he doesn't want to give her a straight answer on that. "Makes sense, better to use thing's you have that aren't being used than to make new stuff."
