[ once more Sora finds himself in that clinic. maybe the door isn't locked, but he's more or less trapped all the same. this time, though? he doesn't really feel like leaving. he's not the type that easily gets sick - seriously, the kid travels to a bunch of different worlds and maintains his health. but this time? it's really knocked him off of his feet.

visitors are allowed, since Sora doesn't feel up to leaving and visiting his friends. he tries to smile and laugh like usual, but it's obvious he gets tired easily and zones out - kind of like a head cold. so more often than not, he can be found, curled up on one of those human sized beds.

Closed to Knock Out

[ shame Sora is kind of clueless about energon and how it should look. finding those brown crystals? he doesn't think anything about them. in fact, it's sort of a detail that slips his mind. he really does go about his day as usual - that means going to "work" as well. something doesn't feel quite right...

but he ignores it. for a while.

as the day wears on though, even Sora realizes he's not feeling that great. mostly, he just wants to last through the day. maybe then he can wonder back to his own bed and just sleep, you know? but the place feels cold and Sora finds himself shivering. maybe he's even a little pale and feverish. but the kid is stubborn and isn't about to give up, even if his eyes go glassy and unfocused.

finally, he just can't fight it off and folds his arms and sets his head on them. maybe just... a little nap? his head feels so heavy. ]

[Knock Out has been busy all day but he's been keeping an eye on Sora from time to time. He's not sure if the kid's just bored out of his mind or sleepy but when he sees him dozing off on his table Knock Out finally approaches him and pokes his shoulder.]

Day's over, Sleeping Beauty. You can now go back to your room and keep not doing anything in there.

'Kay...

[ yeah, that's right. no arguing. no insisting that he's going to stay. no teasing or pouting.

he's just going to struggle getting up... and stagger towards the door. ]

[Wait. WHAT]

Are you dying, Kid? [Stop this instant, something clearly wrong. Knock Out walks in front oh him easily, it only takes him half a step. He leans over to take a good look at Sora.] You look paler than usual.

[ but watch him squint at Knock Out for a minute before ...

SNEEZE! it's an action that makes Sora groan and put his face in his hands. ]

Think I caught something...

Ugh. [You almost sneezed in his face, good job. He's not feeling so good himself, there's a head-ache stating to grow in his processor.]

That much is obvious. [Another nudge to Soras's side.] Does your body hurt?

[ sorry he gives you so many problems, KO. it's the joys of being attached to a human child. ]

[ he has to think about it. also stop touching him, he's going to fall over. ]

[How did he got himself in such trouble? That's what he gets for caring about others. The otehr Autobots are rubbing on him.

Long suffering sigh, get. Knock out's hands reaches out to pick up Sora.]

You aren't leaving, Kid. It looks like you caught the same disease Rose and the others got a few weeks ago. [Odd because Knock Out know that was Blackarachnia's doing. At least he has the cure.] Let me run some tests.

[ again, Sora's not really fighting any contact. just doesn't have it in him. ]

So I get to be miserable for how long?

[ oops. see, that cool metal kind of feels good. so he's putting his face on it. sorry, Knock Out. ]

[That alone is worrisome enoguh that Knock Out decides to handle the boy with extra care. Why are you humans always so fragile?]

Not for long, hopefully. You are lucky to be in such good hands as mine's. [Hands that suddenly have a small organic rubbing their face on them. Knock Out doesn't have the spark to push him away.]

[ for that comment, Sora huffs a little laugh. ]

Yes, fever. Which means we need to put you in a real bed, no more cold cybertronian hands for you to grip, Kid.[Knock Out finds a humans sized berth that's ready to be used and puts down Sora.]

You are overdressed. Get rid of all the unnecessary clothes and inside the bed while I go get my tools. [And the cure BA gave him too. Knock Out needs a moment to himself too, he's feeling sicky.]

[ sure Knock Out. whatever helps you recharge at night.

Sora grunts when he's told that about the cold hands. probably should have found a cold washcloth or something. though he does as is asked. with another sneeze and a wobble, he shrugs off his odd hoodie/jacket thingie and kicks off shoes.

then he just looks up for approval. that's all, right? ]

[He recharges very comfortably, thank you so much.

Knock Out will bring his a wet cloth, he learned a bit about human diseases and its treatments, have a little faith. He grabs the shoes and clothes to put those away and prevent Sora from leaving (in case he goes and changes his mind).]

Good, now get in. I'll be back in a few seconds.

[He gives Sora a weak smile and disappears inside a room. If robots could throw up, he would be doing just that. Knock Out leans against the wall and presses the back of his hands to his eyes. This headache is going to kill him.]

Get hold of yourself, Knock Out.

[He grunts and moves away from the wall. Time to find the scanner and a washcloth for the boy. When he returns to Sora's side he looks like nothing happened.]

[ all right, all right. pushy, fussy bot. actually, Sora's no so out of it that he can't smile at it. see, Knock Out is a decent guy. just needs to loosen up a little.

but by the time Knock Out comes back, Sora's sniffing and curling into that bed more. it's such a shame that Cure spells don't work for this sort of thing. nope. just gotta curl up, hug a pillow, and ride it out. ]

[No, he's a professional doctor who has a reputation to maintain. Stop telling people he's nice Sora, that ruins his badassery.]

Can't you use the key to fix yourself? [He puts the washcloth on Sora's head and the rest of the tools in the nearest table.

He grabs the scanner and moves it over Sora, frowning when the results show that this is not the disease Blackarachnia created.] You need to stay hydrated, there...I brought you some water. Drink slowly.

[ not really. you can be nice and a badass at the same time. just look at Riku and Axel. and Mickey. ]

No. Heals injuries.

[ not sickness. here comes another sneeze though and that sure is a pouting face. huff huff. he doesn't like being sick and it shows. ]

Never get sick... This is dumb.

[ buh... does he have to sit up though? it's gonna make him dizzy. ]

[Mickey. Mickey. If you compare him to a mouse out loud, Knock Out will ground you for real.]

Too bad. [If it's of any consolation, he hates being sick too. His headache is back full force and he needs to concentrate to stay focused on Sora.] There's always a first time for everything.

[Yes, yes he does. Knock Out's helps to hold him in place with a pair of fingers leaning against Sora's back.] If you get more dehydrated I will have to prick you with a needle and no one likes that, right?

[ he does huff a little while being forced to sit up. but fine. he'll take the water. drink it. all with a face. such a displeased face. ]

[ he says it with a smile, obviously talking about how big KO's hands are and how small the needle has to be to get into Sora's arm. too bad he almost chokes though. on that water, that is. it's all because he sneezes while trying to drink it. 8V ]

[Alia hadn't intended to pay a visit, it's just she noticed a drooping, sick Sora on her way to those first aid lessons she asked for.]

[ he probably just looks worse than he feels at the moment, sitting up a little straighter. ]

[ punctuated by a sneeze of all things. ]

[ don't worry Alia. you won't get sick from this. he'll just take the tissue and blow his nose. ]

When you're sick? Kinda.

Man. That sucks. Need anything to rehydrate or something?
