[ once more Sora finds himself in that clinic. maybe the door isn't locked, but he's more or less trapped all the same. this time, though? he doesn't really feel like leaving. he's not the type that easily gets sick - seriously, the kid travels to a bunch of different worlds and maintains his health. but this time? it's really knocked him off of his feet.

visitors are allowed, since Sora doesn't feel up to leaving and visiting his friends. he tries to smile and laugh like usual, but it's obvious he gets tired easily and zones out - kind of like a head cold. so more often than not, he can be found, curled up on one of those human sized beds.

[Water's easy enough to fetch, and given the amount of oozing going on, Alia opts for one of the larger containers for it. Takes some digging, but who knows how much oozing is in Sora's future?]

So any aches and pains or anything?

[Rather not end up getting sick because of mysterious illness round two, after all.]

[ he groans, pouting at the thought. kinda half misses his mom at this point too, sorry. kids and their parents when sick, you know? but at least he can drink water pretty well right? ]

[ shakes his head then thinks better of it. it is hard for him to think and talk. just be patient. ]

Hmm... well then, it's probably not that flu that was going around. Small favors.

[Hey, maybe Sora will mend up quicker than the people with the flu, too?]

[Rarely does Wheeljack ever visit the medbay unless he's dragged kicking and screaming. Well, up until recently, that is. He'd really started to hit it off with Knock Out (if you told him that out loud, he'd punch you) with blueprints for medical tools. With his forge tucked safely into his back plating, he walks in.]

Doc?

[What he didn't expect to find, however, was the kid he'd given a ride to not so long ago (well, not so long for him). He couldn't speak for him, but it did see him odd sitting in one place. Or more accurately, lying down in one place. Time to go check it out.

Tucking the blueprints under his arm, he wanders over, eyebrow perked.]

Hey kid--scrap, you look like the Pit.

[WELL. THAT'S ONE WAY TO DO IT.]

[It was by pure accident that Kay found Sora in the medbay. Solus was pretty far from where she was stationed (not really. it was closer than others), and the heat made it unbearable sometimes. But while picking up a little something, she saw Sora, immediately recognizing him as the boy she was locked in a medical closet with.

You just don't forget stuff like that.]

Hey...I don't think I got your name.

[ what? you mean curled around pillows with plenty of clearly used tissues all around like tiny fallen soldiers in the battle to fight disease?

really Sora perks up at hearing Wheeljack. or, well, tries to. but he can only struggle to sit up so far. ]

[ which he's usually good about! Kay had just been distracting him, clearly.

but right now? right now he's going to push himself up and blow his nose. ]

[Those hands reach out, pulling the blanket up and bringing it up to mid-chest. Call it experience on dealing with troublesome people (Edgeworth), but she knows how to be persistent when she has to be.]

There's a smirk, though, at that response, setting the blueprints down to get a better look.]

Can't say I'm envious, but you're holdin' together pretty well.

[ be happy there's like no bite to any of his words. won't even push blanket away. just don't mind now plugged up he sounds and the occasional sniff. ]

[ and, as if on cue, Sora reaches for a tissue and sneezes. leaves him dizzy and feeling gross.

just prop the pillows up, WJ. he can take it from there. maybe.

there's a pause, like he's thinking about what he had been asked before laughing. a little. ]

Knock Out? Yeah... Threatened to poke me with a needle.

[Somehow he gets the idea to do just that, maybe helping Sora move his body up to position himself on it. He wasn't used to such delicate procedure, but you can tell he's trying.

Be lucky that's the only thing he's threatenin' on ya. Ol' doc's got a nasty sense of humor.

[And he flashes him a smirk. Knock Out's jokes have the power to kill, Sora.]

and might have tried to put a cheek on a cold, metallic finger. Sora's still a bit feverish. ]

It is kinda weird. Without a full biosphere, you'd think viruses and stuff wouldn't do to well here. Not enough hosts.
