WHO: Invisible!Skyfire and YOU
WHERE: The junk pile
WHEN: After the Pillar expedition
WHAT: Skyfire came back in one piece, but invisible. And now he's trying to fix that.
It was a long shot, Skyfire was quite aware of that. But it was the only more or less decent idea he had. Nobody could see him, nobody could hear him, and that made getting help from someone else quite difficult. He had considered making a text post to the network, of course. And then he realized that even if someone offered to help, there wasn't much they could do at all, in his situation.
So here he was now, digging through the junk pile and trying to find something remotely useful. Or at least something that sparked a better idea.
It didn't even occur to him that he was making it look like all kind of things were moving on their own and floating around.

"And stop that." With that, Jetfire grabbed Starscream and pulled him back. Did Starscream even consider that he had no idea where he might be poking? Jetfire didn't even bother to point out or think that it was rude because it wasn't as if Starscream would care about that.

"Hey--!"
... and of course, that wasn't going to work. He was glad that Jetfire took care of moving Starscream away before he had to do it himself.
Of course it's me. Why would I lie about that?

"AHHH! LET ME GO!"

"Calm down. What happened?" Jetfire glanced from Starscream to the empty space where Skyfire so clearly was, and didn't say 'what did you do', but that was basically what he meant anyway.

Right now, he grabbed Starscream's hand and tried to dislodge it from his vent. It'd be easier if he would just stay still.

Maybe he could try.
"What does it look like?! It's trying to take my hand off! I told you this wasn't that blasted overgrown version of you! Whatever you did, Jetfire, undo it this instant!"
Because it was, once again, Jetfire's fault.

"It's Skyfire, Starscream, no matter what you seem to... er, believe. Just let go and let him get you out of whatever you got stuck in!" He wasn't going to bother to argue about this being his fault or not, not really worth it at the moment.
What was important was getting Starscream... ah, unstuck from Skyfire and perhaps then they could have a proper discussion without Starscream flailing like a startled protoform.

And then Skyfire took a couple of steps back, just in case. It was only after getting to a safe distance that he took the time to text them again.
Of course it's me. And I had Starscream's hand stuck on a chest vent. So stop poking.

having an affairtalking with an invisible Skyfire."I demand someone tell me exactly what is going on here! Why is he invisible?!"
Of course he ignored the fact that they already had stated that they were attempting to find out why.

"It's because of the---" And then the Pillar's parting gift struck again, and while Starscream remained where he was, Jetfire flickered out in a burst of noise-less static and reappeared a few feet behind him.
And while it was where he'd intended to go, he'd also intended to take Starscream with him.
"---The Pillar, Starscream. It's destruction did leave some effects lingering on several of us, and Skyfire is, ah... apparently among those."

I touched it by accident when we tried to destroy it. This was the result.
Honestly, he couldn't understand how it was harder to believe than all of the other annoying effects people displayed lately. Unless Starscream was just being stubborn. That might be the simplest explanation.
