It wasn't the first time that Artoo wished he still had his rocket boosters. He was only thankful that he hadn't been at the opposite end of the Junk Pile when he'd received the coordinates from that private feed. Starscream, wasn't it? The Decepticon hadn't introduced himself, but it hadn't taken Artoo very long to filter through past recent communications to find a match for the ID he'd been contacted with. The rest was just gleaning through conversations for a name.
The droid had to wonder if this was a good idea, really. If C-3PO were here, he'd most likely say that it wasn't, but then he tended to say that about a lot of things. ...what was that protocol droid doing right now anyway? Oh well.
The police facilities didn't look at all like other places of law enforcement that Artoo was familiar with. It almost appeared out of place when in comparison to other structures within the Haven, but the astromech supposed that was to be expected, given there were individuals from varying worlds. At the very least, he couldn't complain that there wasn't access for someone his size, so entry was the least of his problems.
Artoo hesitated near the entryway, his radar scanning for any immediate signs of others within. It wasn't like he could just roll right in and get to work. ...or could he?
...no, that was a ridiculous notion.
The droid hooted to himself, then trundled on inside. If he wasn't hindered from anything, he'd go ahead and have a look around. No harm in that, right?
