She does the things you do; But she's an IBM [Closed]
WHO: Prime!Ratchet, Sari, and maybe some Animated!Optimus as guardian~
WHERE: Ratchet's medbay
WHEN ...ha. Haha. WAY BACKDATED. Before the monster event.
WHAT: Sari was injured before arrival, in her home universe. And... she needs a medic, not a doctor.
WARNINGS: Mild gore? And potentially panicked little girls. :c
He wasn't their Ratchet, but he was the closest thing they'd seen on the network since arriving. The only familiar looking doctor around, human or robot.
And given the way her injured elbow was sparking on occasion, seemingly real skin and flesh burnt away to reveal glowing circuitry underneath...a Cybertronian medic was clearly the best option.
There hadn't been a lot of time for Sari to focus on her surprise 'condition' since arriving, what with trying to find anyone she knew at all, as well as getting settled in and just finding food she needed to survive. That didn't make much sense, given her state. Shouldn't she have to drink oil or energon now or something? -Ew, yuck! Normal food still worked, so whatever!
Wrapping the wound up under some cloth had hidden it away, and without seeing the open injury, it had been able to fade away to a dull throb, handled gingerly and kept in the back of her mind. For a while.
But after spotting the different Ratchet on the network...Optimus was all too eager to get her to some help. She almost didn't want to any more. She was fine! And...she wasn't ready to face the fact that her dad was a dirty, sneaky liar, and her whole entire life had been one massive lie.
Too bad for her. Sari was stuck grumbling from her perch on Optimus' shoulder, picking at the bandage as they worked their way over to the medic's office for a surprise visit.

His optics widen ever so slightly when the two of them come in, but he's back to being a professional the moment he starts stepping forward to greet them.
"Hello. I haven't met you before, but I'm assuming that you're Sari?"
He speaks to her, rather than Optimus, because she's his patient and because speaking to a child's parent instead of the child is disrespectful.
WELL HELLO
Sari carefully slides down from Optimus' shoulder to the nearest table with one arm (and a good bit of help from said robot,) the other limb tucked close and stiff. Rather like her current attitude. She hurts and she doesn't want to be at the doctor's (medic, whatever,) anymore! She's never had to go before...which probably explains a lot of things, now that she thinks about it.
But from her new perch, Sari gives the medic a long, doubtful look, scowling up at him like he is a particularly unpleasant puzzle, never mind the injury.
"...You do look like a Ratchet. The one back home."
Which was the only reason they'd decided to come.
HI!
Ratchet holds out his hand, showing her the scanner he's about to use.
"This is just a scanner. Won't touch you at all, except with some electromagnetic radiation, but it'll give me a good idea about how to get started on fixing you."
She's so young that he's defaulted to the Tell-Show-Do method of dealing with younglings in the clinic. Plus, surprises are never a good thing, right?

Grumbling, Sari shoos Optimus away with all the imperious manner a spoiled, grumpy kid in pain can dredge up. All her parental figures, human and dad-bot shaped alike, are on her List right now. ...And if shots are required, the last thing she wants is for Optimus to see her cry over something so small! Especially since the damage on her elbow was already so large
But Ratchet's words manage to earn an dryly amused snort from her anyway.
"...Yeah, good luck with that." She doesn't even know where to begin!
But Sari obediently stands still despite what her words might imply, bandaged elbow turned closest to the medic. She'd be more afraid, if she hadn't already gone so long with such a massive injury. She just wants it fixed.
Then she can focus on getting answers.
sorry for the tl'dr
He busies himself with his scan, letting the orange lights glow from his forearm as they let him know how Sari functions and, possibly, how to fix her. She's quite a feat of engineering, actually -- there's quite a few systems in the uninjured parts of her body that are trying to tell him that she's completely organic. Was she designed to spy on the humans...?
There's so many questions that this child brings up, and he can't ask any of them. It's frustrating.
At least there's one issue that he can address.
It looks like Sari's injury will be a quick fix. Just an quick infusion of minerals to boost-- except that he didn't have any booster shots on him because his medbay wasn't stocked with anything really, at this point. Hmph.
"Sari, may I take a closer look at your injury, please? I'll need to give your circuits a quick solder, then we can patch that up."
This is the least elegant solution there ever was, but it's going to be the best he can come up with under the circumstances. Hopefully Sari won't call him on it.
It's aaaaaall good~
Eyes going wide, Sari's jaw drops, injured arm flopping down from her grasp without even a peep from the pain.
"...W-what? Okay, h-hold up, what? How do you-! Why aren't you freaked out?!"
Because she clearly is, and quite suddenly looks dangerously close to a tantrum or tears or both. Wasn't she supposed to be some weird, freaky McFreak back home?
[[[OOC: Since Optimus has dropped, lets just...ignore him >>;;; I don't want to mangle him further with my half-arsed control of him.]]
