WHO: Ambulon, Elita One, Solus Prime
WHERE: Solus Prime's temple/HQ
WHEN: A reasonable amount of time after this post (backdating this kind of to Saturday haha)
WHAT: Ambulon takes Elita with him to consult Solus in regards to getting a nice new alt mode, with kibbles and bits and all!
WARNINGS: N/A
Ambulon had, admittedly, been a little hesitant to follow up with Elita's suggestion about meeting with Solus Prime. He wasn't quite sure why. Maybe he believed Solus would be too busy; she was pretty much a demi-god in his book. And yet... Hmm. Well, he had sat on this for some time before finally making a decision.
Yup, he was gonna do it.
In fact, any sort of hesitation or apprehension Ambulon had faded the moment he was forced to, as always, walk to Solus's temple. Sure, he could call for a ride, but... Well, he was in no hurry, really. Solus might not even see them, though he did leave notice some days prior, hoping she wouldn't be too busy by then. While Ambulon wasn't exactly ashamed of needing to hitch rides, there was a certain discomfort and embarrassment that came with it depending on the circumstances. When you need to get to a patient fast, when you're in the middle of an emergency, having to wait on someone else to get you there was not only inconvenient but damn annoying.
Hopefully, that would all change today. Or at least sometime soon.
Besides, the walk helped him sort out any remnants of second thoughts and cold feet. It was a nice day - in that no one was killing each other and there wasn't some sort of monster or strange virus popping out of the wood works. Tarn was... Well, he figured he'd be okay. Though he did regret not bringing the weapon Perceptor had made him along about half-way into his walk... Oh, well.
When Ambulon was in a half-mile of Solus's temple, he comm'd Elita, informing her of his arrival soon, and asked her to meet him out front. He had been inside the temple before - helped at the clinic - but figured it'd be faster if they went straight to Solus from the get go. Not long after, he was heading for the main entrance, optics scanning for his company.

"Or you," she added, glancing toward Elita as she jacked into the pad directly.
If her scans of Ambulon were a proper precursor to the official records, she expected to find a chaotic mess. Had Nexus seen the mangling of his Marked?
"However, I find your situation...intriguing. Should I accept, a promise of a future boon from one or both of you should suffice."
She raised a brow. She's fair, but that isn't always a bargain everyone is willing to make...

And it was indeed somewhat... questionable, if probably fair, what Solus asked for, though the unknown quality was a bit... daunting.
Even if she might not even be involved in that.
"I'd be willing to help, Am, but that's your call, though I wouldn't quantify my help as 'enough' already. That's not how it works," said Elita with a brief grin and a shrug, but she wouldn't put her foot down more than that; if Ambulon felt he needed to pay it all on his own, that was his right, given this was about him.
She could always - hopefully - give assistance if he needed it later.

He smiled slightly back at Elita. "Well, I can't stop you then, I guess," he said. "But allow me to do most of what will be expected of me - or of us."

But it was not a mess she couldn't handle.
And with Ambulon's open agreement...
"Very well." Solus allowed a brief smile to flicker across her faceplates. "Given the unique challenge your data presents, I have decided to accept your request."
She passes the datapad back down, files already downloaded.
"It will not be immediate or easy, but I can undo what was done."

Partly because she didn't want to pry too much, interesting or mundane things on display or not - it'd just be rude, but she couldn't help indulging in the curiosity either.
She was quiet then, but a smile curled around her lips as Solus agreed and said it could be done.

"I will have to look over your systems myself to prepare, of course. Living metal requires a more...delicate touch than my usual methods."
'Hitting it with her Forge' is all well and good for non-sentient weapons and blades, but Ambulon would not likely enjoy the pain involved in a hammer reforging.
Even if it would be far quicker.
"We can do that now and get it over with."
