WHO: Open to everyone if you want to interact with Knock Out but there's one private thread for Dead End and Rung
WHERE: The medbay, Solus Temple
WHEN: Anytime
WHAT: Knock Out's is working for once, if you ask him he will say its only to please hissexy lady FirstForged. He's checking on patients, treating your muse if he/she is the one injured, practicing an autopsy on one of the giant bugs (thanks Fracas for that).....the usual for a docbot.
WARNINGS: Snark, gossiping, sassy Cons at work...I will update if needed.
[The sooner he sets his own medbay the better, Knock Out thought, checking a datapad and looking around. However, Solus banned him from steali...borrowing the tools from the actual medbay, and he had to work there for the time being. There were way too many Autobots around for his own comfort. He would admit that not all of them were bad but trying to work with Ratchet being Ratchet was anything but easy. And watching Ambulon walk around with his paintjob falling apart made Knock Out's skin crawl. One day he will do something drastic about that. First Aid was easy to deal with, at least.
Knock Out was wondering why most of those tools had chew marks on them and made a mental now about asking ravage later. With his drill. The doctor sighed and moved on to the next patient.]

Knock Out ignored the flinch, he was used to that reaction. He was not a harsh medic, but mostly everyone thought he was and Knock Out liked that way, he had a reputation to maintain. Yet, he pressed down at the joins rather carefully, checking the cables underneath.
"No offense Rung but you look as easy to break as a chopstick and Dead End is a Decepticon. He knows how to fight. .

Let me know if this's okay, I would change it if not /o\
"Words are nothing, Rung. I know my kind, we don't take things lightly and we don't waste time or give second opportunities. Do you really want to know how painful is physical harm? If I decided to kill you know, who'd stop me? This is how Decepticons show dislike for a relationship because emotions are a weakness that should be eradicated. Tarn is from your world, you should know better."
Knock Out's voice was a low growl but he finally let Rung go, none too delicately.
Tis fine with me!
The psychological damage that could be done to and individual.
When Knockout finally let go, Rung reached up to rub his throat, enter cycling quickly as the panick he'd learned so long ago to conceal eased and he looked at the medic, his own optics hardened a bit.
"I've had my head blown off. My arm taken off. My neck crushed by an angry patient. The list of injuries I've sustained in my line of work is immense so please don treat me like I have no idea what pain is," he said cooly, lowering his hand to rest it in his lap with its mate. "But in my line of work, you see what word can do. How much more damage they can cause. You tell Someone over and over that they're worthless and soon they start to believe it. You tell them that they're weak, then they are. A mind is just as easy to break as a body but harder to put back together. So while I see your point, doctor, please understand that there are more sides to causing someone pain and damaging them then what you can implement with your fists."
Thanks hon ♥
"Don't." He finally grated out, holding the datapat so tight that his claws were causing dents on metal of its back and the screen shattered. "I lived long enough under Megatron's command to know all the ways you can use to crush someone's self esteem." There was a brief, tense pause before the medic continued.
"My point still stands. Once you are dead and gone there's nothing that can be done, and then your partner has to live an eternity without you." Knock Out ended with a murmur, his right thumb brushing lightly over the cracked screen."

"And I've lived long enough to see horror after horror, Knockout," Rung murmured now, his anger easing away just a bit as his optics softened. "I can't even begin to fathom what your Version of Megatron does but I've seen first hand how the one from my universe operates and what he allows those in his command to do to bots."
Fortress Maximus. Springer. Twin Twist and Topspin. The list went on of the horrible things he'd seen in recently times alone.
"...Im sorry for your loss," the therapist added, vents cycling softly. Even if the medic didn say it directly about himself, it was obvious.

To be honest, the Max-Overlord thing can't even be justified using Megatron. Overlord's cray cray and his mind's like a bag full of cats with rabies. And he enjoys it that way.
Knock Out looked up, staring warily at Rung, his usual determination held back.

"...What was his name?" he asked, tilting his head slightly as he settled back on the berth. He wasn't sure how much the other would say, given his nature, but better to try and get him talking about it rather than trying to forget.
One should never let the memories of those they care about fade.

Knock out stared for a few more seconds and then...
...he hit Rung in the forehead with the datapad.
"The only doctor-patient relationship we are going to have here is the one with me as the doctor. Understood?" The carefree demeanor was back, and it could fool a less experienced. Probably not fool one that had psychology as his strong field, but this was how Knock Out coped with things.

At least the other seemed to be in a better state than he had been. Rung was rather fond of not being choked by others.
Still..
"...Speaking as a patient to their doctor, would you allow me to return to my office? I'd much rather this bed be used for someone that really needs it."
no subject
"We have plenty of berths available, the temple is huge and so is the medbay. You know the deal, if you want to get back to your office then Dead End needs to be your bodyguard. No buts allowed. And now, if you excuse me, I have other patients to yell at." Knock Out turned and waved before he strutted away.
It was shattered, but on the screen of the datapad the name 'BREAKDOWN' could still be read.
no subject
Breakdown.
Tucking that name away for another time, the therapist settled in, optics dimming as he contemplated what to do about Dead End...
