Just a little spar between two friends.
WHO: Ventus, Melan Blue and anybody who want to watch.
WHERE: Somewhere in the Junk Pile
WHEN: Today...?
WHAT: Melan had promised a spar to Ventus. He keeps his promise. Also, some exercise will be good for him. Not getting hurt for more than one week? That's not normal for Melan Blue!
WARNINGS: No doubt that some purple blood will be flying. Maybe some red too.
Melan always kept his promises. Marin had taught him that they were really important, especially when you made them to a friend or someone you liked. And the Knight liked Ventus. The young human reminded him of his friends, in the funny world: like them he was just so... accepting. It was refreshing to see another human not afraid of him.
And this place was dangerous. Melan had seen the strange volcano not quite erupting around Solus' temple, and he had managed to catch a glimpse of one of the "monsters" too. A young human should be protected, and since Ventus had a weapon and... magic... He just needed training, not a constant protection like Marin.
The GunSwordman had enough energy to take the time to fight Ventus and see where he needed to improve his skills: Melan wasn't a very good teacher like Pyon, but he was sure the human could learn a few things with him. Of course it wouldn't be as harsh as his own training, but in this world you needed to be strong, or a strong bodyguard. True the Knight was strong, but food was in relative short supplies here and he needed to conserve his energy: he couldn't be always available to protect those who needed it.
That's why he had sent a short message to Ventus earlier, with his coordinates, asking if the young human was available, and if he still wanted to spar with him: Ventus had answered by the affirmative, and was on his way. Melan was patiently waiting for him, standing in the middle of some flat area in the Junk Pile, away from the Badlands so they wouldn't be interrupted by a monster. Though monster hunting could be considered training too.

Ventus started to try getting to his feet with the aid of his Keyblade. He dusted himself off, nodding at Melan.
"Mostly. I'll be okay though. What about you?" he asked.
no subject
"There."
The tentacles let go of the human and Melan took a step back.

"Thanks."

The Knight stopped smiling and looked pensive for a few seconds.
"Ventus... I have something to ask of you. "
no subject
"Oh, sure. What is it?" Ventus asked once Melan spoke up again.

"I... Need to take another form to rest. But I can't leave my other form on my own. Would you mind to... Break it for me, after a few hours? That way, I will be healed completely."

"Just break the Ampoule in a few hours and I will be free. If you need my help, just break it immediatly. Thank you, Ventus."
And then the Knight disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving only a little blue bottle of some sort. Congratulation, Ventus, you just found your first

The disappearing trick wasn't anything the boy had expected though, and he took a step back with a gasp.
"...wow..."
Stepping closer to the little bottle-looking thing, Ventus stooped down to pick it up. That was different. He stood up again, smiling faintly as he carefully curled his fingers over the object.
"Have a good rest, Melan. I'll see you later," he said quietly, taking care to pocket it.
