All of what happens, tonight is where it ends [OPEN]
WHO: Sissel and YOU
Alpha Trion's quadrant was definitely peaceful enough to have a cemetery. It was fitting. The lake was a nice 'view' for those at rest, it had an attractive landscape, and it seemed to be the one place everyone could come to think. Sissel was starting to find that out now. He walked towards the gravestones, holding something in his hands. Upon closer inspection, it seemed to be a large rock, not as large as the ones that served as gravestones, but enough for it to work.
Work for what, you ask? Well, he finds an 'open plot', and sets it down (I guess ghosts are pretty strong), making sure it's facing the same way as the others. When he steps away, it reveals itself to be a headstone itself...
Sissel.
That was all it said. After all, he didn't have a date of his birth or anything. Just that he died on this day. With that, he takes a seat, looking at it for a long while, as if he could make something come of it if he concentrated hard enough. He had all day, after all. It was HIS anniversary.
And if he had one Christmas wish, it'd be to remember...anything.
WHERE: Alpha Trion Quadrant, by the graveyard
WHEN Christmas Eve
WHAT: Sissel makes/visits his own grave for the anniversary of his death.
WARNINGS: None I don't think...

"Dead End. What brings you here?"
no subject
"Just planning the best way to avoid that Santa creature." Something that can wait until after he's had a talk with his human.
"Is something wrong?"
Sissel may not want to worry him, but even without saying anything, Dead End's already concerned.
no subject
And at that question...his face drops.
"It's just...I think it's the anniversary of my death. If you can call it that."
no subject
That's what he was told, and he'd rather prepare for that than believe the whole 'oh I was only joking' bit of that conversation. Until he's perfect looking he doesn't want to die. He doesn't really want to die in general either.
"It's what?"
If his wings could drop any further without breaking off, they would. Sissel died today?
"Oh... are you going to be okay?"
Can he do anything?
no subject
"Well, I told you I'm dead, right? I think today's the day I died. I heard something about Christmas back home..."
He laughs slightly.
"Don't worry about me, if anything, it's a bit uplifting."
no subject
Doesn't matter if Sissel was dead or not, having to remember that probably sucked. Especially since Sissel didn't remember much as it was.
"How is it uplifting?" He doesn't understand, but what he does understand is he needs to scoop up the human and hold him for a bit.
He's not going to let Sissel dwell on his death, he knows too much what it's like to dwell on things.
no subject
"It means I technically survived the night of my death, doesn't it?"
He'll try not to dwell on it. But it's always hard. Especially when it feels so fresh in your mind.
no subject
They're kind of already dead and everything. Not that he's trying to put the guy down, quite the opposite really, he doesn't want Sissel upset.
Actually taking Sissel out of the graveyard would probably keep him from dwelling.
"We're going for a drive."
He sets Sissel down and transformers, opening his side door.
no subject
That does get a smile out of him, though. Leave it to Dead End to cheer him up. What with Dead's own self esteem issues.
But his face changes at the proposition of a drive.
"Really?" Not that he really wastes time, climbing in.
no subject
Friends are so rare after all.
"But you're not going to stop existing, not here."
The door shuts and Dead End begins to drive off. He'll take Sissel for a nice drive.
"You look like you could use something else to think about."
no subject
"That's true. As long as I'm here, I'm sticking around."
He leans back in that seat, making himself comfortable as he watches the land pass by.
"So this Santa guy..."
no subject
Or he'll do his best to make sure Sissel sticks around. It's not much, but it's something and he doesn't see the Autobots looking out for him like they do the rest of the humans.
Right. Santa.
"He's to be avoided at all costs. Supposed to come sometime tonight, and if you stay indoors with your door locked you'll be safe. Or so I was told."
Always better safe than sorry.
"You should stay with me, just to make sure nothing happens to you. You are a lot smaller after all, Sissel."
no subject
"Huh. Can't say I've heard of him. But if he's dangerous, I appreciate the extra layer of protection."
He laughs.
"If you're sure."
He...sort of wants to see this Santa.
no subject
"I'm sure. You've got a big enough hole in you already. You don't need more."
In other words, Dead End really doesn't want to see him with more.
no subject
"Yeah I'll fall apart if I get any more. That wouldn't be too efficient."
He gets that vibe, but he won't point it out. Dead End doesn't need that revealed.
no subject
Sure if it ever happened he could offer his pal a home in his tire until they could get him a new body, but he didn't actually want to do that unless necessary. It still felt a bit weird at times.
"Yeah... Try not to fall apart anytime soon, okay?"
no subject
"Don't worry, I'm not that easy to take down."
no subject
It already has the hole in it, that isn't fixed yet. Sissel did have a point that if he got more he likely would fall apart. He wasn't all that big to begin with, so the only way he wouldn't was if the holes were small. And considering the size of just about everyone else on the planet, small wasn't going to happen.
no subject
That body slumped back into the seat, rubbing along it almost fondly. Yeah, size difference was an issue. But Sissel wasn't really afraid of anyone here. What did he have to fear?
He'd find a way around it.
no subject
"Yeah... Yeah."
But he has to worry, it's not exactly something he can help. Humans were small and squishy, and even if Sissel was dead and didn't really have a human body, he was still far more fragile than a Cybertronian.
"If... If I don't worry about you, who will?"
no subject
"You really want to?"
no subject
"You're looking out for me... And you did say I'm the only one that really notices you."
And Sissel did still have that hole in him. A hole that should have been fixed the day he got it. If he knew what he was doing, he'd have fixed it himself.
"You're not really looking out for yourself either."
no subject
This...this took the weight off him slightly.
"I guess I'm just not used to keeping myself together."
no subject
He wants to keep Sissel in one piece. He wants to keep him alive, or well alive as a dead person can be. He'd like to see him keep the body he had, and not loose it to something stupid. Or something that could be prevented.
It's been a long time since he's had friends like Sissel. He knows life won't let him keep good things for long, but while he has them he'd like to keep them.
For as long as possible.
"So, where do you want to drive to?"
no subject
His hand reaches out and pats the dashboard, finally snuggling into that seat. It was warm in here. Inviting... It'd been awhile since he felt like this. Usually everything was so cold.
"Anywhere's fine with me. How about where you want this time?"
