Meet and Greet and Everything Else

What: This is the general meet and greet for Glyphless as Wing and Drift invited everyone to the bar for some R&R, shelter, fuel and medical attention.
Warnings: None at the moment!

Well it certainly is buzzing with activity, the new surge of glyphless wanderers has certainly made work, but it's not too gloom and doom. People are getting fed, and getting repairs if needed. And spirits seem decent if not a little tense for obvious reasons.

"I've thought long and hard about it since I've gotten here. She could be acting...but it's not like I can do anything to her anymore. Why lie?"

"If you ever get back."

Something could be done then, but he had a point. There wasn't anything to be done about it now. Not that he really believe that any of them would end up going home.

"Why tell the truth when you were saving her?"

Would be stupid if you asked him.

"It's weird...she offered to not let me save her. She didn't beg for my help..."

Small facts just weren't adding up.

"Unless she felt guilty..."

That was definitely a trick. Make him think she felt guilty, and then maybe - if he was the better... human, he'd keep saving her.

Smart.

Dead End shakes his head, "I wouldn't trust her."

"Maybe I shouldn't..."

Something keeps tugging at him, though.

"Someone just told me that she was the key to my memories."

"Well she did kill you."

It would make some miniscule bit of sense for her to be the 'key to his memories' right? ...Infact.

"I bet she's the one that took them in the first place."

That actually gets a laugh out of him. Not to make fun of you, Dead End, but more just the thought.

"You're giving her way too much credit. She's not exactly the most...perceptive girl. It explains why she died three times."

"I've seen masterminds act like idiots just to make a plan go the way they want."

He's not putting it past anyone, even someone he's never met.

Picking the worst option possible. That's Dead End.

"You really think so?"

Maybe Lynne really did...

This didn't make his time here any easier. Time was something precious back home, and the fact that he might be wasting it...it was something that pulled at his mental strings.

The Decepticon nods, of course he does. He wouldn't have said it if he didn't. Even if he'd never met the other human, didn't matter.

"Trusting people is usually a bad idea."

"Well, it's not so bad for me. What's the worst that can happen?


I'll die?"

Dead End's not entirely sure how to answer that. Yeah that isn't really a problem for this human, if he's already dead.

"Can you die? Here, I mean."

The whole being dead but alive was a tad odd.

"I haven't really tested it...but I don't get tired. And I have no heartbeat."

It makes him think for a moment.

"I guess if I sustained enough damage. I don't know what'd happen, exactly.

Doesn't need to eat, or sleep. Frag, that would be nice. Dead End would take the not requiring refueling if he could, but no luck and all that.

"You probably shouldn't then."

Best not to push luck, even if this human's luck was far better than his. The guy was dead already, it would be a good idea to not try and die again. Even if it turned out he couldn't die.

"Do you feel pain? If you're dead..."

"I don't think so...but I can't feel really much of anything, really. Warmth, but...that's about it. Temperatures."

"Better than nothing."

Maybe. Not feeling pain was a good thing though, it was a great thing, especially if he couldn't be killed again. Temperatures was something though, he guessed it could be nice to feel heat or when it was too cold.

"But no pain is probably a good thing."

[youdiedagain]

"In a sense. Sure, I won't feel pain, but I also can't...notice when I should need medical attention. You know?"

The one downside to it. If your body supposedly needed to be intact to live, and you weren't intact and didn't notice it...

That was a good point, but he was dead right? So...

"You're dead, would you even need medical attention?"

Could he even be hurt by normal means? Not that he was planning on stepping on the guy or anything, but it was an interesting question.

"Who knows. I have a body, so..."

He really couldn't answer that definitively. He just hoped he could find out other than by means of demonstration.

"Probably best not to test it."

Unless he wanted to die again. If he could die again.

"So... uh. All ghosts have that?"

He gestures towards Sissel's hair. It's kind of wild there.

"Have what?"

His eyes trail up to where Dead End is gesturing.

"Oh. Yeah, I guess they all have hair. Well, I'm not sure about the lamp I talked to, but most of them."

Lamp. Lamp ghost... Can lamps be ghosts?

"Why's it so... pointy?" Maybe it's an armor choice, but do all ghosts have it like that? Or do they have different frames like Cybertronians do? Then again... humans don't work the same way they do, so their ghosts probably don't either.

"What kind of armor does that even give you?"

"Armor?"

He tilts his head slightly, hand going up to it subconsciously.

"Well, I think it's more for look than anything. I guess it makes me...recognizable."

"Look?"

Well, it's certainly something.

"It's not for protection?"

What kind of armor is for look only and no protection?

"Not that I know of. Then again, I guess that says something about a guy who's dead."
