Meet and Greet and Everything Else

Where: Haven's Hub and Rec Center
When: The first week of November
What: This is the general meet and greet for Glyphless as Wing and Drift invited everyone to the bar for some R&R, shelter, fuel and medical attention.
Warnings: None at the moment!

Well it certainly is buzzing with activity, the new surge of glyphless wanderers has certainly made work, but it's not too gloom and doom. People are getting fed, and getting repairs if needed. And spirits seem decent if not a little tense for obvious reasons.

Wing cringes a little. "Ouch, that bad? Did you try to force your way past the Acolyte?" He knew the Glyphless had been turned away from the temples, but not so...adamantly. "They think you might be under the influence of their enemy. I suppose it's not too shocking they don't want you in their home."

He was going to make the point by saying 'You wouldn't let a strange Decepticon just crash in your hab suite would you?' But given that Wing's actually done just that, he's not one to talk.

He sighs, because there's a lot about this he doesn't like. "The habitation wing of the Hub is likely where we'll house everyone. It's not complete so I wouldn't call it homey, but it's structurally sound at least." He takes a long draw off his drink. "I've been talking it over with Magnus, has he spoken to you about it yet?"

"I wanted to speak to someone 'in charge' about all this. In person, where they can't ignore me. Didn't go well."

He grunts.

"They should be trying to help us instead of throwing us out. What happens once the hab wing fills up?"

His optics flick to Wing.

"If we're really stuck here, I'm not new to leaving to find something better."

"I'm sorry you received such a rude welcome." He frowns, because he does trust Vector and believes most of the rest of them mean well.

"Hopefully it won't come to that. I do plan to seek an audience with Vector, I have more than a few questions..."

He sighs. "But leave to where? This is the only section of Cybertron that's inhabited. There isn't even local wild life yet. I've scouted everything within a day's flight of here...it's all untouched."

"Could have been worse."

Could have been a lot better, but they could have been attacked or killed on site. The bare, scarce tolerance put Rodimus on edge, but at least so far nobody had been hurt... yet.

Wing's mention of scouting just gets a lopsided, reckless grin from the Lost Light's captain. He actually laughs, just a little.

"I'm from Nyon. It was a slum city, rusting away even before the war. I spent a year on a dead Cybertron resourceless, and two years on Earth being hunted and hated by the local inhabitants. An uninhabited Cybertron? Nothing I can't handle. We could build a new city."

"Yes it could have." Way to think positively Rodimus.

"Hunted on Earth?" That seems to come as a surprise to him. But then it probably shouldn't, given he'd heard all kinds of mixed things about the planet. "A new city indeed. That's what we're starting to do here actually."
