Meet and Greet and Everything Else

What: This is the general meet and greet for Glyphless as Wing and Drift invited everyone to the bar for some R&R, shelter, fuel and medical attention.
Warnings: None at the moment!

Well it certainly is buzzing with activity, the new surge of glyphless wanderers has certainly made work, but it's not too gloom and doom. People are getting fed, and getting repairs if needed. And spirits seem decent if not a little tense for obvious reasons.

Shut up it's not like he likes the attention or anything baka.

"That was generous of you."

There's a slightly sarcastic ring to that, but...really, the idea of a Con showing him any kind of consideration like that is...surprising.

"Si, that was an event I would really rather not repeat."

"Hey, losing mechs is always unfortunate. Not gonna step in on it when it's happened to someone else."

It's more than he's managed himself, in a while. Give someone a chance to mourn.

"Ah, but it's funny in hindsight, innit?"

He appreciates that, Barricade, and as such, he relaxes his posture as he turns to face him more. Congrats, you have his attention, full and undivided.

"I do not believe being six inches tall counts as 'funny' in my hindsight.

Were it you, then si, it would be."

There's a slight chuckle behind that.

So he just has to treat the mech like he would any of their 'Cons. Interesting to know, that. He grins and chuckles.

"C'mon. If I c'n find humor in being turned human - or having haiku-activated thrusters - surely there's something humorous in being six inches tall."

Though. He does like the sound of that challenge.

"Turned human?"

That perks his eyebrow. "You have the capability to do such a thing?"

Sorry he's ignoring the fun-being-the-size-of-an-eraser-thing. Because it wasn't. People threatened him!

He snorts. "You say that I like I c'n control it happening." Which would be bizarre, but interesting, he can admit.

"I have been turned human, a couple times."

[perfavore]

"You have the capability to create a holographic human. And Decepticon technology has surprised me before."

Even if you're ex, you know what he means.

He gives Mirage a bit of a look at that. "Yes, because Decepticons truly want to be small, squishy monkeys instead of large, durable killing machines. It's all we've ever hoped for."

C'mon mech, surely you're smarter than that.

"Then please explain the Pretender."

Sam made a point to mention that one. Multiple times. Compared to a mountain ox.

And diesel.

"What could I say? Soundwave enjoyed his experiments."

Also, he was kind of missing during that whole thing, so there really isn't anything he can say.

Those wings flutter as he holds up a finger, leaning in slightly.

"But it proves that the Decepticons are not beyond human skins."

[namesnotprowl]

"It proves that certain of 'Cons are not above shoving others into human skins. Besides, I wasn't even around f'r that."

Though it's not like they had access to nubile college-age girls under their control anyway.

"You and I both were absent for that.

...Shockwave, or Soundwave?"

He honestly wouldn't put it past either of them.

"Soundwave. Shockwave at least keeps his experimentation to a tolerable level."

Or maybe Barricade is just profoundly biased; he skews a lot of venom into Soundwave's name.

He certainly wasn't very tolerable when he tried his experiment of death on all his friends.

Okay maybe Mirage is biased too.

"Tolerable being used quite loosely, y presume" He sips that Energon absentmindedly. "You seem to have more scorn than usual for Soundwave."

Death is never an experiment, though. The experiment is when Flatline get ahold of someone that's nearly dead.

"If I had to choose a superior officer to be stuck with here..." Better Shockwave than the rest; at least that one was only vaguely intimidating. He snorts. "Well, when the comm officer decides that you can't be trusted to report the usual way, he c'n make life pretty miserable."

Those wings fold down, obviously not as enthusiastic about 'choosing' which Decepticon is best. To be honest, he'd rather them both get the pit.

"I suppose you have a point there, polizia."

He didn't really think that, but he was trying to be civil. Ratchet and Barricade were his only homeworld-acquaintances he could turn to even slightly.
