Meet and Greet and Everything Else

What: This is the general meet and greet for Glyphless as Wing and Drift invited everyone to the bar for some R&R, shelter, fuel and medical attention.
Warnings: None at the moment!

Well it certainly is buzzing with activity, the new surge of glyphless wanderers has certainly made work, but it's not too gloom and doom. People are getting fed, and getting repairs if needed. And spirits seem decent if not a little tense for obvious reasons.

How greet bot you usually attack.

"Hey."

Oh look, they're both odd at this game? Wheeljack takes a sip of his energon, figuring he'd better start off the conversation since he called Fracas over. "Haven't seen you in awhile."

[redshirtrobot]

Fracas signals someone for a cube for himself, glancing at Wheeljack. "Yeah, I don't talk on the comms much. And I haven't been by the temple much."

He pauses for a moment before adding, "And apparently I was dead. For a while."

Might as well get that out of the way. So how about that weather?

That last part makes the Wrecker put down his cube.

"You too?"

Oh, you know, it's a little breezy today, with a slight chance of RECOVERING FROM DEATH.

Fracas looks over at Wheeljack rather suddenly. Somewhere behind the mask, he is SHOCKED good sir!

"Y-yeah, that huge crazy bot did... something. Wait, you died too?"

You are a Wrecker, Wheeljack, you don't just die.

"Crazy, isn't it? Didn't think I'd see the day either."

He rubs a finger along his helm, trying to remember.

"Huge crazy bot? ....wasn't Overlord, was it?"

[redshirtrobot]

"I figured you'd go for dramatic explosions rather than coming back from the dead..."

You do have a reputation, after all.

"Yeah, that was his name. Overlord. That huge... jerkbot."

Fracas is not used to actually insulting other mechs. Especially other Decepticons.

[wheeljackofalltrades]

"You and me both, mook."

A reputation he really liked to keep. Even Megatron knew about his little talent, and he loved that feeling.

"Well lookit you, gettin' all foul-mouthed."

There's a punch to his shoulder.

[redshirtrobot]

"Maybe next t-oomph."

Punched in the shoulder! He tips his head a bit, sheepish, rubbing his shoulder.

"It's not usually a good idea, but... well. What's the worst he could do to me? Offline me again?"

[wheeljackofalltrades]

...

"Yep. that's probably exactly the worst that could happen."

He takes a sip of his Energon.

"Sides, Magnus got him locked up from what I heard."

[redshirtrobot]

"Nothing much to worry about then, then, if we just keep coming back after..."

Which is, admittedly, still pretty terrible.

"Yeah. There is that, at least."

[wheeljackofalltrades]

"Not even death is an escape.

Oddly poetic, don't ya think?"

He honestly had no idea if it was poetic or not. But it seemed like the right thing to say.

"Poetic, yeah."

Not that Fracas has ever been much of a judge of poetry, but having to fight eternally without the chance of really dying...

"Either that or karma really hates us for some reason."

[wheeljackofalltrades]

"Never really believed in Karma. Felt it woulda caught up to me by now, yannow?"

He gives a slight shrug.

"Figured the whole Cybertron thing was enough."

[redshirtrobot]

"Cybertron isn't so bad. Even if it's. Not the same..."

He pauses, taking a sip from his cube.

"Though it's probably not Karma. I mean, it's not like you and me are even in the same league."

[wheeljackofalltrades]

"Ya got a point there. We're not." He may as well be honest about that. No point in sugar coating it.

"But we both got scrap luck."
