Meet and Greet and Everything Else

What: This is the general meet and greet for Glyphless as Wing and Drift invited everyone to the bar for some R&R, shelter, fuel and medical attention.

Well it certainly is buzzing with activity, the new surge of glyphless wanderers has certainly made work, but it's not too gloom and doom. People are getting fed, and getting repairs if needed. And spirits seem decent if not a little tense for obvious reasons.

Well that wasn't the greeting she expected.

"Vandal? From the network. Drift's bestie? You know? We talked." She leans this way and that, obviously looking him over.

"You're pretty cool looking." She's really not shy when it comes to Cybertronians, there's still an amount of disconnect in admiring the pure construction of them first.

Rodimus's optics narrow, then widen suddenly with recognition. And the flattery... It puts him a little more at ease. If there was anything that disarmed him, it was flattery and sucking up. He was kind of... weak to that.

"And you're... human."

He's not sure what to make of that. But it's pretty obvious he knows what a human is. You won't pull wool over this 'bot's eyes, Vandal.

"And Drift is aware of this."

She pauses, crossing her arms and giving him the eye.

"Yes and doubly yes, you got a problem with that?"

Just try her, Rodimus.

She didn't always used to be quite so sassy, but it's kind of a defense mechanism. Almost like an animal posing to make itself look bigger.

She isn't a stranger to the whole... racism thing here, but it's a little surprising nonetheless.

"Scared of me or something?"

"Do I look scared?"

Because he never has been, not really. He had no desire to stay on Earth and he sure as hell didn't feel welcome, not to mention knew well enough about what SkyWatch was doing about rounding up Cybertronians. But scared? Not really.

"After the Decepticons murdered millions of humans and caused you guys to in turn hunt us down, Autobot or Decepticon, I'm just surprised."

He waves a hand.

"Yeah, I know. Other universes and stuff. No human from my own universe would be wandering up to me without anti-cybertronian weapons to tell me I look cool. Which I do. Thanks for noticing."

Vandal rolls her eyes.

"Yes well. I've earned my keep here I think. You can ask anyone." Really. Just about anyone here, she's given checkups to about half of them already.

"I'm the good kind of human, I promise. Me? I just want to get drunk and fix shit. And occasionally do something absurd and reckless."

Well it's true. Though she usually has a robot accomplice to supervise she has no illusions about some of the things she does. Sassing Decepticons to begin with...

There's a lot of love lost between him and humans what with everything that went on. Them killing Ironhide, torturing Sunstreaker, imprisoning (and who knows what else) other Cybertronians. Still, Vandal wasn't exactly at the advantage to frag anyone here up, and if Drift and Ultra Magnus trusted her...

He grunts, then tips back a swig of high grade into his mouth.

"Sounds like we'll get along fine then."

Because absurd and reckless was kinda his bag.

"So what's there to do for fun around here?"
