Shout out to the friends back home~
WHO: Rung and Blades | Open to anyone else!
WHERE: Nexus' Temple
WHEN Not long after Blades' arrival on the planet.
WHAT: Rung offered to show the new mech around and fully intends to do so.
WARNINGS: Nadda~
It was weird to Rung, in a way, how many individuals he'd been interacting with since he'd arrived on this odd Cybertron. Sure he'd interacted with a lot of bots back in his home world but most of it had been on business terms and there were very few bots that Rung had considered a friend.
Kup had been his one and only for a long time. And then Whirl had come into his life.
Outside of them though Rung had never really found himself close to others so he was enjoying his chances now to interact with others--Like Blades.
There was something oddly adorable about the copter bot and really Rung did need to do more exploring of his own. It crossed his mind that he maybe should have invited Ven along, considering they had been talking about this sort of thing not that long ago but the psychotherapist really wanted to touch base with Blades first. The other just seemed so scared of this place, and rightfully so really since it was probably much different from what he was use to, so he didn't want to overwhelm the younger bot or anything of that sort.
All in good time really.
Reaching the temple he was after, Rung transformed and hesitated for a moment, looking around and just taking in the sight of the temple itself before pinging Blades to get a lock on his location. Nexus' temple was much, much different from Prima's and it was intimidating in a way--though everything about the first forged was really. He lingered where he was for a moment until he got a ping from the younger boy, heading where he needed to go in order to find the bot in question. Rung reached the copter bot's quarters and knocked lightly, backing off from the door a few steps just so he wasn't crowding it or anything of that sort.

Even if he had been lonely then as well, at least it hadn't been war ravaged and dark. So dark and dreary. Much like how he left it when he joined the crew of the Lost Light.
"The..very last time I saw the planet though..it was much like this," he added after a moment, pausing and nudging a bit of junk with his foot, looking it over before continuing forward, piles of junk started to appear more often now. "This is the junk pile, by the by."
Change of subject yes please.
"Apparently items fall from the Lambda as well and end up here," he explained, looking over at Blades. "All sorts of things can be found here, from what I've figured out and heard."

It was a nice thought to imagine that if they just traveled far enough, they could find other bots, or civilization. What if they were just waiting for them on the other side of the planet? Maybe if there was a fast jet or something they could go explore. Blades wasn't fast, so obviously they shouldn't send him flying off across the dark planet.
He stared at the junk pile. "Wow. That's a lot of stuff. It's like that thing just tears things from everywhere and sometimes it just happens to be bots. Or, humans. And bears. And racoons." Ok, so this place was diverse.
no subject
"Sadly it's not. It's a little too different--" A little too cold in a way. "--to be the Cybertron I left behind." He wished it was, or at least that it was familiar to someone here because then it would make him feel a little less wary of the entire place but, unfortunately, fate was a cruel mistress wasn't it?
Rung found himself chuckling as Blades stared at the junk pile, nodding some as he veered a bit closer to one pile and picked up a small piece of something--perhaps originally from Earth?
"It would seem that way. The nature of the Lambda is quite odd," he admitted, tossing the piece back down before turning to Blades again. "What..is a raccoon? A bear is like Teddy yes?"
no subject
"Yeah, Teddie is a bear, sort of, and a raccoon is... well, small and grey and walks on all fours..." A lot of things walked on all fours on Earth. And Rung had never been to earth. This explaining thing was... complicated.
"Well, I'm sure you'll see him around, anyhow." Finally feeling bold, Blades moved forward to pick up an.... umbrella. It was torn, but it was green and when it was opened there were little frog eyes at the top.
"Cute, huh?" He asked, spinning it in his hands. He liked the ones with the eyes.
no subject
It was ridiculous but in a cute sort of way.
"Indeed. What..is that exactly though?" he asked, moving a bit closer to get a better look at the weird object that his companion was holding.

Blades twirled the umbrella a moment more before he offered the handle to Rung.
"It's an umbrella. Humans use it to stop the rain from touching them," he explained. "They don't like to be wet, except when they do..." It seemed weird to want to be selective about when one got wet, but Humans had a lot of odd habits.
"And it's made to look like a frog," he pointed at the eyes and the little red tongue. "Frogs love water, so it's like they're letting the frogs soak up the water for them."
no subject
It was amusing at the same time.
"So..they don't like being wet in certain situations?" he asked to clarify, finding the humans to be confusing things. He tilted the umbrella to look at the face as the younger boy explained what it was, smiling softly before holding it out to Blades once more. "How curious.."
no subject
Unlike Cybertron where rain was rare and was made of acid.
"But then they get into the wash racks every day, which are just water, and sometimes they jump into pools, rivers, or oceans. I don't get it." Why be selective? It was something Dani had never been able to explain to him in a way he would accept.

He took a few steps forward, towards another pile, picking up small object that made a noise when he touched it, causing Rung to drop it just as quickly.
"What...is that?" he asked, peering at the odd item, the long piece coming off the oval shaped base snapped now, the strings broken in some places.
no subject
Actually, it was a guitar, but the guitars Blades had seen on TV had all been electric guitars and thus looked fairly different from the acoustic guitar in his hands. They were all string instruments in any case.
He handed it back over to Rung. "Humans make nice music. I used to go to recharge every night listening to it. Dani called it classic rock, which I don't get because I thought all rocks were the same age." Humans had strange names for a lot of things.
