Nowhere To Go This Time
WHO: Barricade and TFP!Ratchet
WHERE: The Medbay in Solus Prime's temple
WHEN: Now-ish or so.
WHAT: Barricade would like to lodge a formal complaint about Ratchet's recent exploding episode.
WARNINGS: None so far!
Barricade has been watching, and waiting, and planning.
And now is the time to strike.
He has to say something about this, after all. He'd been the one keeping an optic on Ratchet after the mech somehow blew up that prototype based on Barricade's designs. Designs that he knows were not supposed to explode (there had been at least one with built-in miniguns and another with a launcher for miniature rockets that were supposed to do that).
So he's marching his happy self into the medbay when it's a bit quieter - he wants Ratchet all to himself for this.
"Oh Ra-atch~"

"Barricade. How have you been?"
There's a bit of a smile on his face -- he has no idea what he's in for.
no subject
He offers a grin and a short wave in return, trying to turn on the charm just for this long. "Oh, not much, Ratchet. Little'a this, little'a that~...
"Wondering just how you managed to get that prototype t'blow up in your face, since I triple-checked those blueprints while you were out."
no subject
He'd been a bit tired too, perhaps, but that wasn't a factor, really. No, of course not.
"I'm sure your blueprints were perfect, though. We can just try again with it? "
no subject
And Barricade knows it couldn't have been a problem with the blueprints. He'd partially based them on his own dimension's architecture and he knew that backwards and forwards. Not that he'll say that.
"So obviously, there's something that you ain't tellin' me. What is it?"
no subject
"I made a mistake -- even medics like me do that sometimes."
His fist clenches a bit, but os he angry at himself for making a mistake or upset that Barricade is belabouring this point? It's unclear.
"There's nothing more to say."
no subject
"Not on something like that, you don't. And not like that."
Barricade badgers about things. It's kind of what he does. Generally it's in an attempt to annoy someone, but this is seeming more like a 'could potentially be a problem in the future' situation'.
"Mm. Is there not? Curious."
no subject
"I..."
He closes his optics, rubs at the spot between them that always seems to ache when he's stressed.
"Perhaps I was a touch short on recharge when I was working on soldering the wiring together."
no subject
"Y'know, there are easier ways to catch up on recharge than blowing yourself up."
He wags one long claw at Ratchet.
"The best way is usually to stop and actually recharge, before you explode things."
