Remedy
WHO: Wing and First Aid (as Wing wakes up), then anyone who decides to come by...
WHERE: Ratchet's Medibay
WHEN: Now. After this, and this, this, this.
WHAT: Wing wakes up in medibay, mostly recovered from the accident with Soundwave.
WARNINGS: None yet. Probably lots of FEELS though?
The accident with Soundwave's nightmare had taken them all by surprise, none more than Wing himself of course. He'd been out for a few days, and though he'd woken long enough for the medics to determine there was no permanent damage, the ache in his cortex was such that returning to blissful unconsciousness during recovery was better all around.
The anomalous activity of Wing's spark had been quiet for a few days now, the readings more within normal range, and the spike in brain activity also gone now that his own set of nightmares had ceased.
When the repair status of his systems reached certain tolerances, he's coaxed back to the waking world. Wing comes online slowly, step by step, diagnostics held in temporary check thanks to treatment protocols, to be run manually later after full system boot.
Amber light flickered from behind the shuttered optics, opening slowly to take in his surroundings. A groan as he put a hand to his helm instinctively. He raised up onto an elbow, trying to push through the disorientation and get his bearings.
~~~
A short time later, he'll be sitting on the med berth, still achy, disorientated and perhaps a touch distressed, but capable enough to carry on a conversation with anyone who comes by.
Blurr looks down and then shrugs slightly. "It didn't bother me at all I liked it ."
no subject
Wing smiles, "I'm glad. You're my friend Blurr and I appreciate you. I just wanted you to know that." A soft chuckle. "Sometimes I just say it with actions instead of words."
no subject
"Actions Are always fine with me, don't worry." More than fine, really. "I could try download my music files to your datapad if you want."
no subject
"That makes me feel better actually. And likewise." He grins. "You would do that? It'd be much appreciated! I used to have a great collection of music at home. More than I could fit in my personal data store. I miss it."
no subject
"It's not a problem at all I just need to be very very very careful while doing it SO I don't fry your datapad. M-my engine can do that If a am not paying attention."
One of the hazards of his super-speed and the reason why he would never try the plug-and-play thing with his possible partner. "WHAT sort of music you liked back home?"
no subject
"Really? It can?" Curiosity has been piqued. This is not something he's heard of before.
"Many kinds really, usually upbeat music or beautiful or dramatic harmonies. But really anything that carries emotion I enjoy." He looks off for a moment, wistful. "I rather miss the opera. And musical theater."
no subject
"Yes it's because I process information and energy much faster than any other mech." Blurr looked slightly sheepish, he didn't talk about this very often.
"Operaoperaopera...I recorded some of that one day.." Blurr's went through his databanks until he found the right song to play. "Ah...there."
no subject
"Oh, so your speed isn't just a physical performance thing, it's practically core to who you are?" Wing tries not to pry too much, noting Blurr's shyness, but he is admittedly curious.
Wing sits quietly and listens in rapt silence, as if the music posses all his senses for a moment. He smiles, because it's beautiful, and because it's yet another gift that Blurr's chosen to share with him.
"It's...lovely. I--thank you!"
